LuAnn and I know that where we stay when we travel can dramatically affect how much we enjoy our entire visit. We've learned that having a comfortable, relaxing (and sometimes romantic) place to call our home on the road is as important as choosing what we'll do with our time. We've designed this home with YOUR comfort and relaxation in mind.

Why they chose this property
We love the country! It's so peaceful and quiet here in the Big Creek Valley. The views of active farms and majestic wooded hills are spectacular any time of year. We've come home to Wisconsin after more than a decade away. Here in Big Creek Valley, with great views of the farm fields and wooded hills in the background, it feels a little like we're on vacation every day! We decided to share this experience with you, and so we've remodeled this 2 level country home for your visit - for a weekend, week, month, or maybe longer!
What makes this property unique
We completely remodeled the home when we purchased it, using many of the reclaimed materials we produce at Used Anew. The home is comfortable and functional and the rural setting yields a slower pace in a quiet space where you can wind down from your busy day. During the growing and harvesting seasons we enjoy watching the farming activities all around us as our neighbors work the fields and harvest their crops. We frequently spot Bald Eagles and other wildlife from our windows or when we're out enjoying the yard. On cloudless nights, you'll enjoy the lack of light pollution. The only lights you'll see for miles will be a few neighbors' yard lights and an occasional passing vehicle on the road. You may not have realized just how many stars are visible in the night sky!
