Welcome to our Cozy Gray Home! This is a 2 bedroom, 1 full bath home with an open living and kitchen floor plan. The location of our home is just a few miles from the Big South Fork National River and Recreational Area which is full of outdoor activities. In addition to the BSF, we are also just 15 miles from Brimstone.

Lives up to its name!

The house is cozy and gray and was perfect for our stay. We did not spend a whole lot of time in the house because we came to hike and explore the Big South Fork Scenic River and Recreation Area. It was a really nice place to come back to at night and relax and unwind. In the morning we cooked breakfast, packed our lunches and headed out. The restaurants we tried in Oneida had great food. We couldn't possibly eat all that we were served at El Rey Azteca, so that was a meal we didn't need to cook the next day. We also tried Ruth's Little Asia Kitchen where Ruth cooked, served, and told us about different Filipino foods. Thanks for a great visit to an amazing park!

Perfect for my needs

I love this place! I travel to Oneida quite regularly for work, and have stayed here a couple of times. It is, by far, the best for my needs. Close to town, yet private. Clean and comfortable. The host is always available for any needs. Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving getaway

Cozy Gray Cottage

In town for a wedding and spent the weekend here. The house was very warm and inviting. The check in/ check out process was super easy and the host was very polite and thoughtful. The accommodations were very nice and well thought out. Will definitely stay again if it is available.

Trip to Oneida

I rented this house for weekend to visit family that live in Oneida. The house was very nice . Had 3 adults in party. The beds are queen size and comfortable. Tv in both bedrooms plus one in great room. Everything was very clean. Would stay here again next time I go down there.

Weekend getaway

My wife and I went to see a friend display her Photography at Bandy Creek Visitor Center. I was debating on whether or not to stay in a Cabin or rent the house. Our friends rented a Cabin and it was nice. I’m glad we chose the house, it was super clean, well stocked, private, and in a very quiet area, and also close to town and the Park. The house was very spacious and open, and was as accurate as the pictures.

Cute ans Cozy!

We stayed here for a Parents night away. We are locals and didnt want to stay out of town. This was the perfect place. Super comfortable beds. Extremely clean and cozy! We will always try to stay here for our date nights from now on!

Worked out very good for our stay. Everything in the house worked as should. Only thing which would have been nice is a dining room table with good chairs. There was a breakfast bar with stools.

Nice stay and clear check-in and out instructions

We enjoyed our four nights stay. Since I have diet restrictions, the host was easy to communicate with and went out of the way to take photos of cooking equipment for me. Well equipped kitchen and make-up remover made my stay much more comfortable. I appreciate the clear instructions for the keypad self-check-in and pre-loading the dishwasher and washer check-out process. I recommended the stay.

Lovely Cozy Cottage

We were moving our son & his family from the Chicago area to near Scott County. Found Misty’s cottage for a great value & booked it. At the end of the move in day we were exhausted. Misty’s cottage was perfect for the 4 of us. So much bigger then it looks. The mattresses were the best we have ever slept on in a VRBO. The kitchen & living room were so roomy & comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but plan to stay here in the future when we return to visit our son & his family. We will be able to take advantage of the the washer & dryer next time. We spent the evening hanging out on the back patio, where there are chairs looking out to a beautiful large yard. It’s very private, so quiet & peaceful. Thanks so much Misty. We will definitely return to your cozy cottage.
