Romantic Get Away

2nd time here and not disappointed...love the privacy of the Carriage House...and location is less then 2 miles from downtown Lancaster. Will definitely stay again!

Great getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night for a little getaway. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, the ambiance was very nice.

Nice little place

Wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Carriage house. It was very clean , and very comfortable. I could not get the fireplace to work, but was still warm and cozy. Good location.

Our stay in Amish country was nice. The cottage was clean and well decorated, but could use some updating. The location was nice and quiet, as it was not in the center of town. We did have issues with people accidentally trying to get into our room in the middle of the night and the fire alarm going off, very loudly and abruptly waking us a couple hours after we had gone to sleep. We still lived having a space that was just ours, not sharing a building or walls with other people.

Disappointed

We love Lancaster and decided to relive our honey for our thirst wedding anniversary. Highly disappointed with this room. Room had a very musty smell. The bath tub is absolutely disgusting and off colored . Then we found bugs/ roaches, was not able to 100% identify. Parking was absolutely horrendous. My car is ruined. Scrapped down the side. Cause we were left one spot out of 8 spots one evening and my husband had to back in and I had to get out before he could do so. This place was an absolute nightmare.

So quiet in this neighborhood. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were amazing. I liked the privacy. Great price for this getaway. Will try to rent it next year when we visit again.

This place looked amazing online and it was even more amazing in person! They thought of everything, were so fast getting back to me when I had questions before the trip...just wonderful. The carriage house is both charming AND modern, which is not combo you find a lot these days. The bed was huge and comfortable, the grounds are so cute and it is set up so if there are guests in the other building you can interact, or not. It had a neat little neighborhood vibe. It's close to city center, and like a block and a half away from a terrific Cuban restaurant. And with a microwave and refrigerator (small, but it has a separate freezer section that actually freezes ice cubes) we could easily choose to heat up left overs for lunch if we wanted.

the property looked the same as was shown, however, in actuality the place needed some TLC; the armorie door was broken, and, except for the bathroom, the space was much smaller than appeared in pictures. Also we had no contact with property manager, with exception for an email day prior to our visit.

Lancaster Stay

This property is in a nice location, just outside of the city. The hosts were very nice and accommodating with our needs. You do not receive breakfast at this location, because it is not part of the main building, just an FYI.

Charming!

This is a separate carriage house at the back of a larger home. It's very nicely decorated and the king bed is quite comfortable. There is a parking lot behind, but also a bus stop right at the front of the main home for the short ride into downtown Lancaster. Ideal for us.

We love Lancaster

The room had everything that we needed. The bed was comfortable, the jetted tub was excellent, the coffee station was a bonus, the fireplace set the mood,the entire cottage was spotless & we would definitely stay here again. We have a large vehicle & the parking is a bit tight, but we made it work. Thank you for a perfect getaway.

Waylon and Naomi were very accommodating, and always responded to us very quickly. They let us leave our luggage in the room even after we checked out, since we had a late train. The shower got hot fast, and had great water pressure. The bed was big and very comfortable. We were able to walk into downtown Lancaster each day, so it was a good location for a quiet atmosphere, and still not far from the city center.

Double booked

Not only did they double book the property, but we were not notified until less than 5 hours before check in time, leaving us scrambling to find alternate lodging. When we were notified they said they’d check if they had another unit available but didn’t get back to us for an additional 3 hours.

Cozy space

Check-in was seamless. Everything was in working order. Very nice little retreat. Spa tub was great. Bathroom was very spacious, but, needed a bit more attention from the cleaning service. Otherwise everything else was neat and tidy. It was nice to have the entire space to ourselves.
