Overall was a pleasant stay. The unit itself was clean and well situated. The owner responds to requests and concerns in a timely manner. Only issue was the lack of an additional sink for the bathroom. The only one available was the kitchen. It was no big deal for our short stay but might be problematic for others.

Why they chose this property
This is a legal Short Term Rental, not many left in Hawaii since a law enacted about 12 years back started to be enforced at the end of 2019. We had a condo in Makaha Valley which we were forced to sell or restrict to 30+ day rentals, which doesn't really suit vacationers. As a prospective owner it is very difficult to find a legal short term rental property to buy but to comply with Hawaii's laws we have done so, which explains the "why this property?" question above.
What makes this property unique
Walk to Beach (waikiki beach), walk to International market place, walk to all the Big names in haute couture all close together, walk to multi restaurants serving multiple cuisines from Ramen to high class French. Too far to walk?, there is a Biki staion on the corner and many Lyft electric scooters all around. Also both Uber & Lyft are readily available 24/7. If you need a car try the Hui car share for a few hours or a day and return it rather than pay parking.
