This home is bright and light colorful and cozy. Short walk to the Elmwood Village restaurants and shops. This is a historic home with eclectic decor. This is a large home with period moldings and large windows. Steam heat, it's cozy in the winter! This is our second home and has an arty vibe. We use it fairly regularly so it is more like a home than a standard vacation rental. There are spices and condiments in the refrigerator and canned goods and things like oatmeal and rice in the cupboards. Use whatever you like. (or not lol).

We had a great stay with our adult daughter for the Buffalo Marathon weekend. This was a great location with several restaurants in walking distance and also beautiful neighborhoods and parks for walking out dog.
The property is very comfortable, decorated in a very funky style that suited us fine. We grew up in the neighborhood so we enjoyed visiting old haunts!
This was a great location for our visit to Buffalo - within walking distance of Buffalo State University. The unit is spacious and quirky - lots of fun pieces of furniture and Knick-knacks throughout to enjoy! Beds were comfortable and we found most everything we needed for our stay.
Just as described! Lots of space to spread out and relax. Loved the 2nd floor porch and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Directions were so clear and communication was excellent.
Easy to park and such a good location in the Elmwood Village!
This place was amazing! Every time we looked around we saw something new. It was very close to everything, the park, art museum, and restaurants. The hosts were quick to answer any questions and arriving was simple. We will definitely be coming again!
Nice place to stay. Rental car did not fit in alley to get to parking behind house but street parking was never a problem. Had everything we needed to be comfortable and feel at home. Could use a dusting.
This is cute home that was ideal for our long weekend in town visiting our daughter in college. The amount of space you get for this price is amazing. Our dog loved that we could open up the door to the second floor patio so he could come in and out at his pleasure, inspecting all that was going on in the neighborhood. The house is a few blocks from the Elmwood strip of shops and restaurants, so we were able to walk to dinner and get groceries. We will definitely come back for next year's visit.
Quaint and quirky- and I mean that in the best way. If you are looking for Hilton type amenities this is not for you but for us, the flat was perfect. Location couldn't be better for our various excursions and the Elmwood Village has great brunch spots! The hosts were easy to work with and access was seamless. Do be aware that when they say parking access is limited to small vehicles, they're not kidding. We couldn't get our car down the alley to park so had to use street parking. This was not an issue for us. Overall would definitely recommend!
We visited primarily to see the newly renovated Buffalo AKG and this apartment was ideally located. It’s a lovely historical neighborhood. The apartment was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable. It has a lived-in feeling that made it homey and somewhat unusual for a short-term rental in my experience. I’d definitely stay there again as it was great value.

Caution
We were disappointed with our stay. The check in was awkward with late arriving code, the entrance light was missing causing one member to nearly fall, their was a major water leak in the kitchenwhich we repaired.
The property was nice, clean and well provisioned. Old construction but everything functioned well. The property owner was immediately responsive to every query. The neighbourhood is great with a variety of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The bus stops right in front of the house which was very convenient. Overall, I take away beautiful memories from the month long stay here
The house is exactly as described. Its not very new but it was clean and we had everything that we needed. Comunication was easy and we had all detailed necessary instructions before we moved in. Location is very good with so many restaurants nearby in walking distance . Will definitely repeat for our next stay in Buffalo.
An eclectic assortment of Mid-Century decor - some ‘50s-‘60s Modern, some ‘40s-‘50s Grandma’s house - greet you in this cozy second-floor apartment. (Cozy in the warm and friendly sense, not the real estate code word for small. There’s a spacious living room, dining room and parlor and two decently sized bedrooms.) Great neighborhood for walking and looking at the architecture. Off-street parking could be problematic if you drive a giant SUV but our standard sized SUV fit through the alley just fine with mirrors pulled in. Owner was helpful with our questions. Plenty of cookware and dishes if you want to cook, like we did. As we were snowed in, this turned out to be a great place to hole up! Definitely would stay again.
Thank you for a wonderful place for my sister and her daughters to stay when visiting for Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time and will absolutely want to stay again next holiday if the property is available. A couple of things that might be helpful, however: some of the furniture was very dusty (the clear lucite coffee table in the living room space in particular). While it was kind to leave a large bottle of vodka in the kitchen for any folks who might be interested in partaking, I’m afraid it was uncomfortable as I am a recovering alcoholic and none of my friends or family drink around me. My niece promptly moved the bottle under the sink, if it wasn’t put back next to the coffee machine.
This upper apartment is right in the heart of the Elmwood Village. Extremely convenient to walk to restaurants, shops, the Lexington Co-op grocery store, coffee shops, Bidwell farmers market on Saturdays, and much more. The apartment itself is very eclectically decorated and has all that you need for a comfortable stay. Well stocked kitchen, coffee filters, tons of varieties of tea, spices, oil, cooking utensils, etc. No dishwasher (to be expected) and AC in the bedrooms only, again which is to be expected. Lots of fans and windows and the porch was nice. Even though it says it in the listing - to reiterate the driveway is extremely narrow. I have an Outback and had to push my side mirrors in to get down the driveway to the parking. Off-street parking is a huge plus! Host was very communicative. Overall great value and great location, I’d stay here again.
This place is in the perfect location to grab a $15 Uber ride to anywhere you don’t want to walk to. It is also in the perfect location to walk to most things near the harbor. It is cute, quiet, quaint, clean and the management is great. Loved it. Will definitely check availability of this place first when coming back to Baltimore. Only tip for future renters, park in the Fleet and Garden Parking Garage down the street. There is no parking on Portugal Street or near by. LOL
Thanks for such a lovely place to call home temporarily.

Very good. Nice neighborhood. Easy to get to good bars and restaurants.
The owner responded quickly to communications and worked to accommodate our needs.
We enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfortable and we hope to return and explore more of the neighborhood.
Communication with the owner was great. The location is very close to Canisus and it’s a really cool spot on the upper floor of a two family house. Plenty of room for two or three people. Coffee maker in kitchen was great.
