Spacious 2 bedroom old mill house, close to all amenities

Ally & Donna would love to welcome you to the Old Mill situated on the D29 Lesterps to Brillac Road. Newly renovated in 2021 to offer a comfortable & relaxing stay for couples/small families. Guests can enjoy exclusive use of the pool or relax & dine in their own outdoor green garden area. The house sits on a quiet roadside but you can still enjoy the surrounding farmlands with easy access to the villages & busier towns. Hosts are on site (but out of sight) & available for any of your needs.

Un petit coin de paradis

Le Moulin de Courrière est un endroit rêvé pour passer d'excellentes vacances. Donna&Ally sont 2 personnes merveilleuses, attentives avec un accueil hyper chaleureux. Décoration intérieure magnifique (adultes et enfants non précautionneux s'abstenir), et la piscine au top. Notre petit Stuart, tout comme nous, a adoré ce petit paradis avec tous ces autres amis à 4 pattes. Des bisous ultra chaleureux à Donna&Ally, Roquefort, Cassy, Preston, Baster, Rodney, Martine, Juno. Sehr schönes Objekt gepflegt in allen Details - sehr ruhig gelegen mit schönem beheiztem Pool. Ein Ort zu relaxen und wohlfühlen, alles was über das Objekt beschrieben wird entspricht absolut der Realität. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Took the leap and moved to France in October 2020 after finding our dream property. We set ourselves up in the little Gite so we could begin renovations in the main Mill house with the intentions of making it home for ourselves, however, we ended up becoming so content and comfortable in the little Gite and therefore decided to rent the main Mill house instead. Bonus being that guests would now benefit from the higher spec and homely atmosphere that we created of which we’re proud to now be able to share :)

What makes this property unique

Ideally located for airports in Limoges (37 mins) Angouleme (56 mins) Poitiers (80 mins) or Bordeaux (120 minutes).

Le Moulin is surrounded by the villages of Lesterps, Brillac and Esse. You can get all your fresh pastries and supplies from the local grocery shops and Esse boasts a highly recommended restaurant, L’Estaminet. Less than 1km away is a farm that supplies all fresh eggs, meat & BBQ packs.

Less than 15 minutes drive to the town of Confolens, famous for its summer festivals but well equipped with supermarkets, bars, restaurants & takeaways. Also well worth a visit to the historic Oradour Sur Glane only 26km away. (www.oradour.org).
