Our luxury apartment is located in the Aquamarina II complex at the center of the Cap Cana’s Marina, the biggest inland marina of the Caribbean with a fine array of elegant gourmet restaurants and specialty boutiques. Once the third stage of the Marina is completed, it will be able to birth 500 yachts. It will be the only full service marina in a 400 kilometer radius between the Turks and Caicos and Puerto Rico, accommodating all types of yachts.

The Aquamarina Condominiums offer the best of both worlds – the relaxation and beauty of the beach and the dynamic attractions of a marina. The Marina is fully operational, and has boat slips available for yachts up to 150 feet.

Aquamarine was Awesome!

My family of 5 just returned from an amazing stay in Cap Cana. The condo was everything that was described and more. We loved sitting on the large balcony playing cards and watching the beautiful boats in the marina. Our family enjoyed a ton of beach and pool time. The multiple pools are large and we never had trouble finding lounge chairs and shade. We chose to relax more and not tour around too much, but all was good. Plenty of restaurants and choices of entertainment. Thanks Evelyn!

AMAZING!!

This place is beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. Everything from check in to check out was top notch. The place is literally breathtaking and offers everything you need plus more. Very comfortable beds, very clean and the location is perfect! Close enough to town to experience the Dominican culture yet far enough away to feel like you are on your own island. Evelyn is a wonderful host, she answers all your questions and makes you feel very welcome. The Italian restuarant on site is very tasty and great pizza!!!! The mini market onsite is not well stocked but that has nothing to do with this property, just an FYI, I recommend stopping by the main grocery store on the way to the property from the airport and stock up on basics. The kitchen is incredibly prepped and has everything you need from a toaster, to a blender to all the pots and pans for cooking. You can also hire a cook to come and cook delicious Dominican food. Angiee at Concierge is wonderful too, she made our stay extra special by the attention she gave us. My little girl cut herself pretty bad, I called down to Angiee for bandaids, she came up to our apartment in minutes and gave my little girl great care, the next day Angiee came up again (without me even calling) to check on her and redress the cut. We are making plans to come back next year! I highly recommend this property! Thank you again Evelyn.

Fabulous Condo, Weather, Beaches and Friendly Locals

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed 1 week in this luxury condo. All the rooms were decorated very nicely and the kitchen was well equipped with all you needed. The owner was terrific and gave us all the information required and asked. The marina and the beaches were absolutely breathtaking. The temperature varied from the low 70s to the low 80s with a tropical wind. We also enjoyed the pool service(umbrella, cushions, and the very clean pools-huge). The very secure property was just awesome as all the cars were parked underneath the condos and all you saw were the silent golf carts and the the occasional car along with all the water and all the palm trees. We also utilized the services of the cook and housekeeper offered by the owner, which we gladly payed for before our arrival. We only ate 3 meals away from our condo. Carmen cooked local cuisine and we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals. She was just so friendly and we enjoyed having her at our condo. We rented a car and scouted the mega property along with a real estate agent and we liked the area so much that we would love to buy something in this huge development. My only regret is I didn't take the time to play golf on the magnificent Jack Nicklaus Signature course on the ocean. However we take the time to go to Juanillo Beach and the wonderful Jellyfish restaurant outside the complex. Thank you Evelyn for a wonderful trip to your very friendly country!!!!! We will be back!!!!!

Nothing to do, items were not in working order

The condo is spacious and well decorated; however, it is very hard to find and the concierge nor any help speaks English. If it would not have been for neighboring guests we would have missed a lot of the beauty of Cap Cana. The Marina is beautiful but the beach is very hard sand and the water is not as clear as other Caribbean isles. The hot tub did not work nor the jetted tubs. The maids number did not work and the owner is not local.Hot water is limited. Very poor construction, we even had a leak from the top floor. We never found the bike and kayak rentals. The development is not finished and completely empty. Restaurants and shopping areas are closed and you have to go to different parts of the development for meals. You must have a car! If you enjoy warm weather and a book you will enjoy the spacious unit. If you have children or like close activities I would not recommend this development. I normally do not give bad reviews but feel guests should know of my experience. If you are not fluent in Spanish, good luck.

Spectacular condo in a quiet community

To start with the conclusion: we would definitely go back and we highly recommend staying at this condo. We traveled to Cap Cana with our four children ages 6, 8, 11, and 13 for February vacation. This GIGANTIC condo is located in a very safe, gated community. The beach and the pool(s) were a short walk (with no shoes needed) from our second floor retreat. We were pleasantly surprised at how empty the whole place was. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway, then look no further. The condo was very well appointed. The living space was very comfortable. The air conditioning was a delight. Our favorite spot was on the balcony that included a sectional sofa. In fact, everyday we ate breakfast and lunch in the outdoor eating area overlooking the marina. Shortly into the trip, we wound up turning in our golf cart and renting a car. Cap Cana is so big that a car was more practical. There are other beaches and several hotels inside the gated community: definitely worth exploring. The kids try zip-lining one day in Cap Cana. They had a great time. The guides were very friendly. The Punta Cana Village is a 10 minute drive. In the village we found a large, modern supermarket to load up on supplies. Evelyn, our gracious host, arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport and take us to the supermarket before we checked in. At night we ate mostly at the Punta Cana Village (about 6 restaurants) or at the mall in Bavaro (20 minute drive). My kids aren't too adventurous on the food front so we stuck with simple, touristy places. The restaurants in Cap Cana were over-priced. Evelyn was very helpful. She was very easy to work with in the months leading up to the trip. The condo description is very accurate. The condo is nicer than the pictures. There is a concierge desk to help with day-to-day questions, but since you are not at a hotel don't expect the range of services and expertise that comes with a concierge desk at a resort. This very minor negative is offset by the loads of positives at Cap Cana: big, clean place to stay, no crowds, great weather, easy living. We want to go back.

The accommodations offered a beautiful and peaceful view. All on site staff we’re extremely helpful. The owner was extremely responsive to any concerns. I would definitely book again. I was in town for a Golf Channel golf tournament. Everything I needed including the course was just a short drive away. I had a wonderful stay.

Casual Week

My wife and I stayed at the condo for eight nights. It was very spacious and was in a good location being walking distance to the pool and beach. Overall the resort was very quiet during the whole week except at the end which was Easter weekend which was a busy holiday in the DR. Even with the influx of people it was still very quiet compared to resorts in the US. API beach bar was one our favorite restaurants and the service staff was really excellent. We visited several evenings and they took great care of us every night! We also took a short cab ride to the other side of the Marina where there were also a couple other great restaurants including Nakamura. It is located in the brand new Casino. If you like Asian food and sushi this one is not to miss. We couldn't believe how quiet it was...there should have been a line out the door. Overall it was a very relaxing week and I would recommend the condo and the area. Evelyn was very easy to work with and very responsive.

Well appointed marina apartment with great location

My wife, mother and I rented this apartment for a week in February. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed for our vacation. We had a couple of small hitches but nothing to upset our vacation (electrical problems when we arrived were fixed within the day, the Internet went out mid-trip and never returned). The Cap Cana Marina area is a great place to be close to amenities yet in a quiet, low-traffic area. Our mornings began looking over the water, then after a breakfast sitting out on the veranda, we would read and relax outside before making our way to the closest beach for the afternoon. Evelyn gave us much information to make our trip better, and was a good host. We look forward to returning.

FULL LUXURY!

If you need tranquility and luxury this is the place for you. Better than the pictures! We stayed at Aquamarina 1022 between Dec 28-Jan08 and we LOVED it! Enjoying each day more and more. The unit is simply amazing, with its brilliant design, beautiful finishing’s and attention to detail only to please the most demanding guest.The morning coffee and an evening glass of wine at the terrace overlooking the marina were priceless. We loved the fact we can relax at the beach with minimal crowds, hoping that place remains that way, quite unique comparing to all-inclusive resorts. If you like to prepare your meals at the fully equipped and beautiful kitchen, the Nacional supermarket have all you need from basic groceries, incl. milk, eggs, water, coffee bread, cheese, ham butter, fruits and a choice of good spanish wines, next to other liqueurs.There are other options to dine: Il Cappuccino Restaurant and Aquamare both in the Founders Residences; and La Arroceria Valenciana and Xoxolati in Fishing Lodge. Juanillo Beach - a gorgeous, secluded and beautiful! There is beach bar/ restaurant with cabanas and beach lounge sofas. The food is a bit pricy, but the area is luxurious and beautiful. We were a bit surprised all car rental companies were simply overbooked (Christmas and New year) and a reserved and guaranteed well in advance was simply not available. Well, it proved to be a good thing after all giving us the chance to explore more on foot. We thank the owner for taking such a care of the visitors. We will be coming back! Hasta la próxima!

Best Vacation Ever!

There are no words to explain the relaxation that I experienced here in this place... we stayed for a week, my husband and my two kids, and they also loved it! The condo was just as pictured...very pretty and spacious. The terrace was huge and also beautifully furnished.The kitchen is equipped with anything you could need. The best grocery shopping was right near the airport at the Nacional supermarket. Although it is a 15 minute drive, it is easy to get to and they have a good selection of everything plus they take credit cards! In the same shopping center as the supermarket, there are several other restaurants (the Mexican one was good) plus other shops. We were extremely happy with the condo as it is truly beautiful. Both pools are large and very clean and your able to bring down a cooler and food and eat at the bar. Everyone is so nice at the resort and the people at the concierge speak very good English and are very helpful. Everything about Cap Cana met our expectations and more; the location, the grounds, the views and the staff. After this trip my husband said that he would never stay in hotels again! This is a gem.

Fantastic, peaceful, clean and relaxing

We had a wonderful time staying at Acquamarina 1022 in Cap Cana. The property is more spacious than the pictures do justice. We were 5 people, including 3 children, which was very comfortable in the condo. The location for a relaxing vacation cannot be beat as even during high season, this property feels very secluded. The property grounds include two large swimming pools, two hot tubs, large semi-private beach with coves designed to keep the rough waves away. There are even a number of cabanas available on a first come, first serve basis across the beach, which were wonderful. Absolutely stunning views of the ocean, white beach sand and more. We also really enjoyed the restaurants located in and about the marina property. A nice 5-10 minute walk from the unit with some of the best Italian and local foods you'll find anywhere in Punta or Cap Cana. If you want more action, it is only a 15-20 minute drive to Bavaro area, which has shopping, restaurants, more. There are plenty of activities in the surrounding areas within 10-20 minute drive as well for those who like cave exploration, swimming in natural cenotes, zip lining, dune buggy tours and more. We highly recommend this property if you like space, quiet beaches, and relaxation with a go-at-your-own-pace feeling.

GOOD VALUE. NICE CLEAN BEACHES,POOLS AND PROPERTY. VERY QUIET. TOO QUIET. MOST SHOPS AND SUCH ARE LOCKED UP. NOT MUCH TO DO. IF LOOKING FOR NICE QUIET VACATION THIS IS AN AWESOME LOCATION. JUST REMEMBER THAT LEAVING THE PLACE FOR ACTIVITIES/FOOD WILL REQUIRE TAXI COSTS/RENTAL CAR. AQM1022: MATTRESS IN MASTER SMELLED OF URINE....WERE TOLD WILL BE STEAM CLEANED NEXT DAY. SO WE DID LAUNDRY THAT NIGHT SO WE CAN SLEEP ON CLEAN SMELLING BED. MANAGER SAID HE WILL ONLY STEAM CLEAN IF WE ARE PRESENT IN THE CONDO. SO WE HAD TO CANCEL OUR PLANS TO MEET HIM AT 1030 AM. CLEANING WAS DONE IN 30 MIN. PILLOWS ARE STAINED WITH SWEAT ETC. SO WE JUST TRIPLE PILLOW CASED THE PILLOWS. DISH RACK IS RUSTED. THE PROPERTY GROUNDS ARE WELL MAINTAINED
