About this property

I am so honored to have you stay at my Colorado Seasons of the Sun condo. Whether you are here for some incredible winter skiing, summer hiking or biking, fall color changes, or springtime in the Rockies, mine is the perfect place to call your home any time of the year! You have your choice of two rooms with king size beds and attached bathrooms, plus there are two additional bedrooms (one queen and one full) that share a bathroom. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace with free firewood just down the hall, and I’ve left some good books as well as some games (anything from Old Maid to Cards Against Humanity) for your entertainment. The floor plan is open; if you are preparing a meal, you will still be part of the action in the living/dining area. The kitchen has everything you need whether it’s putting something in the crockpot before you leave for your day’s adventures, heating a quick meal in the microwave, or making chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. After a day of adventure be sure to relax in the hot tub, sauna, or heated swimming pool (these are usually closed during October-November and April-May). The view from the pool is incredible!

Best of all, the condo is on the first floor so you don’t have to carry luggage up any stairs. In fact, if you’re lucky enough to get a parking place close to the patio you can just lift your things over the patio rail! And the free shuttle stop (to Crested Butte and the ski slopes) is just across the parking lot.

I am a native Coloradan and grew up on a farm in the far southeast corner of the state, so I have chosen to decorate with a Colorado theme. You’ll find some of my personal things to make you feel more at home during your stay – among other items are wheat from harvest in eastern Colorado, a picture my mother painted while she was in a nursing home, and beautiful landscape photographs taken by my daughter. New Year in Crested Butte

Very nice condo which was very conveniently located to ski and eating locations. Our family had a wonderful time in this condo and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna as well.

Amazing stay at The Chateaux

Excellent condo, updated, everything you need in the kitchen! Pots, pans, spices, oul, phenomenon , very comfy beds, mattresses and plenty of towels! Pool, grilland we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a very thoughtful personalized card! Will be back!

Great location for skiing!

We really enjoyed the condo for a week long ski trip with our family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids age 4 & 7). Location was awesome, with a bus pick up in our lot, or a super easy 5 min walk to slopes. Loved that plenty of firewood was provided down the hall Host Connie was so communicative and lovely to correspond with. She has thoughtfully incorporated family history and art throughout the condo, making it feel very personalized and interesting! The layout worked OK for 4 adults and 2 kids, but the kitchen and common room are quite small - I can't imagine 4 couples sharing this space if all 4 bedrooms were used for adults. There were no hooks or floor rugs for boots, making for lots of puddles. No humidifiers provided, and our family is prone to nosebleeds so we would have appreciated this as typical in all other mountains homes we have stayed in. Nothing major, just a few things that could make a ski trip more comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Bigger than it looks in the pictures! The rooms were so roomy and the beds were great. Well stocked kitchen which made it easy to cook at home. The location was fantastic! We also enjoyed the pool and easy parking for the summer. Would definitely stay again!

Large condo for 2 families, close to slopes

We had two families stay here (4 adults, 4kids) and there plenty of room for everyone. We came for spring break skiing and it was perfect location, even the kids could walk to the slopes or just hop on the free shuttle bus that stops right outside the door. We used the hot tub and swimming pool which was warm and a bonus we weren’t expecting in winter! Free firewood, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was great. Very well stocked with everything you could need, and even some you just want. The manager and owner both responded to our messages promptly and were very helpful. The shuttle is so convenient for skiing, and the unit was very clean and quiet. We loved our stay!

This condo was perfect for our family ski trip! We loved having 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The condo was perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. Great location and easy parking right in front of the condo. Also very glad it was on the first floor! Highly recommend!

Not a bad place, bedrooms have decent amount of room but not a large living room or kitchen but adequate! Microwave and range did not work but had a small microwave on the side of the kitchen to use, furnishings were okay but everything's a little dated I would say!

Cozy Mountain Condo

We enjoyed our stay at Connie’s property, enhanced by 2 ft of fresh powder! The property was very clean, and as advertised. Less than 10 minute walk to the resort base made skiing super easy! You can tell the building is dated, but the condo has a great facelift and everything was very comfortable. I will say our only thought is that it has 4 bedrooms which definitely can accommodate 8 people, but the living space (couches, kitchen table, kitchen, etc…) was definitely tight. We had 3 couples and two little kids… Overall totally worth it for the price, comfortability, and location!!

Fantastic Condo!

Kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen in a Vrbo. It had all the equipment, pans, serving dishes, etc we needed. Living room and kitchen area are a tiny bit small for as many people can fit in the unit. We only had 4 so it worked just fine! But it might get crowded if you’re at max. Couple of the mattresses were kind of stiff/hard but when you’re that exhausted from skiing all day the bed is just fine. Everything was super clean. We loved our stay and had zero issues.

Awesome condo, perfect location for all things Crested Butte

We had a wonderful time at this condo. Awesome location right across from the slopes. We actually stayed during the summer for wildflower season (they were awesome!), but I imagine it would also be fantastic during the winter based on proximity to the slopes, and I believe the bus picks up right at the condo. A few really nice highlights for us beyond location (two families of four, so 8 people total): first floor, parking right at the building, and the layout was really nice with the two king bedrooms on the opposite side of the two bedrooms where the 4 kids stayed. Really great layout for families. Condo was also super clean, extremely well stocked kitchen, and some really neat and cool personal touches throughout the condo. 5-stars all around and we will absolutely try and stay here again during our next trip to Crested Butte, regardless of season.

Fantastic property! Probably the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever experienced in a rental, equipped with fresh spices, condiments & coffee! Location is perfect. The bus stops right outside the unit to take you to town and to the mountain. The layout of the unit is ideal for families or groups. The bedrooms feel bigger than advertised and we were able to let our kids stay on one side of the unit. Additionally, Connie was exceptionally responsive to some of our simple questions regarding our stay. Bring your own spa towels! The pool/hot tub is small but great! There are also saunas location within the restrooms. Definite must!

Great place to stay when skiing Crested Butte

This condo was perfect for our large group. Common area was large with a large heavy wood table that quickly became the social nexus. The Kitchen was VERY well stocked with utensils and even spices, tea and condiments. 4 Bedrooms, two with their own Bathroom, were perfect for a large group. Plenty of free firewood just down the hall was a real perk as it was quite cold during our stay and we kept the fire going with ease. While this condo is not "ski in/ski out", walking was certainly an option but why? The shuttle comes every 15 min, almost to the front door, and goes directly to the Ski Base Area. Practically a private shuttle for the Chateau Condo buildings. Despite an almost constant snowfall, the friendly and diligent groundskeeper kept the walkways clear and safe at all times. We were always able to get to our car easily and the parking lot was kept well plowed at all times. Great Place!

Great location!

We had a great time here. There were six of us and we had plenty of room. For boarders, it is an easy walk. We even came home every day to eat lunch in the condo. For skiers who don't like to walk in their boots, the shuttle picks up right outside and comes by every 15 minutes. It is easy to time your departure. There were no lift lines at all in CB which was a nice change from recent years spent in Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone. The condo had everything we needed!

Perfect family accommodations

Wonderful stay in CB! Perfect location on the shuttle route so family with teens could easily navigate time on the mountain and in town. Four bedrooms made the stay comfy for all. Would highly recommend!
