Roundhouse Ridge - Vineyard, Hot Tub and Acreage to Explore!

This unique roundhouse is nestled amongst a vineyard, with 64 acres of beautiful natural landscapes from the front to back of the property. Practice your putting skills on the newly installed 4-cup putting green. You’ll have views of the hobby vineyard from the spacious 2,700 sq. ft. patio and, in the summer, get a front row seat watching the cyclists passing by during the annual Granfondo Axel Merckx Okanagan. We’re minutes away from Fairview Golf Course and the town of Oliver. A short 12-minute drive will take you to the new Wine District Village development. Inside our space, you’ll feel comfortable with the three bedrooms with comfortable beds and closet space for storage for 6 people. There is a small area adjacent to a laundry room with a 2-piece bathroom. The main washroom is a 4-piece bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge and counter space for preparing delicious meals. Outside has a large 2,700 sq. ft. concrete patio with comfortable patio furniture, a fire pit, a propane BBQ, and 6-person hot tub (located beside the patio). These offer ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors day and night. Climb up to the top of our property and soak in the sweeping views of the South Okanagan Valley. If you need to relax by the water, take a short15 minute drive to Rotary Beach Park on Tuc-el-Nuit Lake. It is close to downtown Oliver and includes a playground, picnic tables, washrooms, grassy and sandy areas, with a spectacular view of McIntyre Bluff. *Please note that this is a working vineyard, and crews may be on the property from time to time. Beautiful and serene setting

We came to Oliver for a wine weekend and had a great stay. There were 5 adults so we enjoyed the hot tub and campfire. The outdoor living area is huge. The inside was very clean and well equipped. Great stay!

Girls getaway

The Roundhouse was even better than expected! The location is perfect if you want privacy and peace. It’s a short drive to Penticton, Oliver or Osoyoos. Mark went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and recommended some wonderful wineries and restaurants. Stay here if you ever get the opportunity!!!

Very Private - Close to Everything

This is our 2nd stay at the Round House. We are already planning our next year visit to the Okanagan and we hope the Round House is available when we look for accommodations. We've stayed at several locations between Osoyoos and Oliver and the Round House is #1 on our list of places to stay. We come to Oliver for Golf and Wine; both readily available and in proximity of the Round House. The location is VERY private and quiet (road noise is virtually non-existent) allowing us to enjoy the birds and wild life in the area (e.g., deer on the mountainside across the road). We like the layout, the amenities and the comfort of our stay. It can get quite chilly in early April, so we don't get to use the beautiful patio area very much, but when we do it is a treat. We sat outside after our last round of golf and winery visit, both 3 - 5 minutes away, enjoyed the sun and finished off a great day before BBQ steaks (and wine, of course). Whenever we have a question for our hosts, I usually text, they respond REALLY fast, even by phone, to ensure we are answered and taken care of. Makes for a truly relaxing stay; what vacations are all about. Yes, we recommend the Round House.

The Roundhouse is great

There were four of us on this trip and all of us enjoyed it. Accommodations were fine. However one deficiency would be drinking water. We were quite surprised to find that it wasn't provided, as the well water was recommended not to drink.

Great Stay

This house was perfect for four friends on their annual Okanagan wine tasting getaway. The house was clean, well equipped, and extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were lovely. The location worked very well for us and the outside space could not be surpassed. A wonderful stay. We will definitely return.

Amazing place and people. Unfortunately our stay was cut short because of Okanogan wildfires and all the smoke. We had to travel back to Vancouver after only 1 day. Hope to return this fall.

Quick summer stay

A lovely home in a beautiful setting. This home has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the hike just up the road, golfing and the wineries all close by. The owner was very easy to communicate with, they occupy an adjacent building on occasion. There presence was not uncomfortable at all. They were very easy going. We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful getaway location

We loved staying at the roundhouse. The location was secluded and beautiful, and we enjoyed having our coffee on the huge patio, overlooking the vineyard and listening to the wildlife. The house was very nice and clean, and the hosts were awesome, checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was such a relaxing and peaceful weekend. Will definitely stay again when visiting Oliver in the future.

Slice of paradise

What a beautiful spot! Just the sound of the birds and the wind in the trees. Well appointed with a large patio, gazebo, hot tub and even a putty green! Mark our host was attentive to our needs. The rooms were lovely, as was the view up at the top of the property. Close enough to town and the wineries but also very private with a hammock in the shade of the pines.

Wine Trip ‘23

We hit the area with a group of friends for wine tasting and decided to give the Round House a try. We all loved it! Close to the town of Oliver, and within a short driving distance to a large number of wineries. The house was well appointed, clean, uniquely laid out and has a number of extra amenities including the new putting green, a spectacular deck area with comfy furniture and fire pit, as well as the hot tub.

Relaxing environment and wine lovers delight

This property has excellent outdoor space surrounded by vineyards and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The indoor is mostly updated and well set up for six guests. A third bathroom would make it perfect. There is a full time renter living on this large property who acts as caretaker which came in handy. This was a wonderful place to chill.

Wonderful Getaway

Beautiful, quiet getaway in wine country, short drive to town if needed. Close to numerous wineries, and Oliver Wine Village. Clean, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and room to relax with all amenities you need. Amazing outdoor patio, comfortable seating indoor and out. Loved star gazing from the hot tub, and sitting on the patio, enjoying nature. Definitely a favorite for our annual Girls Weekend.

Comfortable, Quiet & VERY Private

A uniquely designed house that seems isolated but is only 5 minutes from Golf and Wineries, only 10 minutes from town, and a pleasant get-away. Past visits to the Okanagan have had us staying in Osoyoos, some 20 minutes South of Oliver. This time, looking for something different and since we were golfing at the two Oliver golf courses, we looked for accommodation in Oliver. The Round House came up and it seemed perfect, and for us it was. If, for our next trip, the Round House is available, that's where we will stay; I don't see us staying in Osoyoos any more after this. The King Bed we slept in was very comfortable and at night-time it was so very quiet; we all slept very well. Our stay was mid-April and the weather was variable; when it was sunny and warm we were on the nearby golf courses or visiting nearby wineries. We did not get to enjoy the huge patio at the house, too cool for that, but we did use the hot tub and it was great. The house has LOTs of storage, enough hangers (seriously, we've been places were such was not the case and its annoying enough to merit a comment when we are pleasantly surprised). The bedrooms are spacious, the living room has comfortable seating and the kitchen is well laid out with all the accessories we needed. We want to return.

Fabulous property in wine country

We are two couples who stayed at the Roundhouse in August. We enjoyed the modern, well-appointed kitchen. The house is full of skylights that bring the sunshine in and provides lots of light. We particularly enjoyed the state of the art sound system that allowed us to play our own music from our phones. There were speakers throughout including on the patio. We also enjoyed stargazing from the patio as the night skies were brilliant away from the city. We highly recommend this property.

Everything As Advertised

My only hesitation in reviewing the property is my fear that word gets out on this hidden gem and I'll have a harder time booking in the future! Everything was as advertised and some features were even better than the pics online. Communication with the owners was always prompt, helpful and professional. If you don't need to be right "downtown" (Oliver or Osoyoos) and you want a pleasant setting for a glass of wine, BBQ, hot tub etc, this is the place. In the words of Arnold, I'll be back.

Relaxing stay from start to end

This is such a beautiful property located 10 minutes from Oliver. We especially enjoyed the huge deck with plenty of seating options. We had two couples so we didn't use the center room that had two single beds. The natural light throughout the house was real nice. We did star gazing one night as it was so clear. Many cyclists use this scenic route. The house has everything you need and more. Our host, Mark, was around and always available with a friendly smile should we have any questions. We were in the area for a family reunion and had plenty of room to host one of the meals. Thanks Mark for a wonderful stay.

We love the Okanagan! We've got two other rental properties at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake. We have been VRBO members since 2014. Feel free to check out our other rental properties. This new little gem is affectionately known as the Roundhouse Retreat. We are currently renovating it to suit the needs for a family of 6, with a hot tub, large deck and plenty of space to roam freely away from the city.

Why they chose this property

Why not stay in a roundhouse that is upscale than a basic yurt? There is a spacious interior with a unique curve that makes this property special. Re-energize your mind and body on this rural and natural landscaped property.

We've been fortunate enough to find this hobby vineyard and make it our home, to share with friends and family. The property is situated on scenic Willowbrook Road, with twists and turns along the countryside. It is picturesque.

Our property is located on 64 acres of land with views of Oliver and Osoyoos. You'll understand why we love this property.

What makes this property unique

Minutes away from the town of Oliver, Fairview Golf Course, horses and hunting grounds. You'll feel like you are miles away when watching deer, bears and listening to the sounds of coyote singing under the moonlight.

There is a private 6 person hot tub located behind the house, and a hammock under the shade of two pines.

This property has beautiful winter hiking trails. You might see a deer prancing through the property. Please be BEAR AWARE!
