Lovely Setting

The cabin was beautiful as shown in the pics. It was stocked very well with anything you may need. I loved how it sits in the woods a bit. It’s a very relaxing setting, we enjoyed it very much. Very well kept inside and out.

My husband and I went for the weekend and absolutely loved it. This is going to be our new getaway spot. Cabin is beautiful and clean. Very remote and surrounded by woods and fields. Perfect spot to get away from life for a bit.

Perfect

Ill try to keep it short and sweet. The host was communicative and a very cool. The cabin was super peaceful, quiet, and calm, with an amazing backyard fire pit view. It felt very secluded, yet the nearest Walmart was only 20 minutes away. I understand why people rate it 10 out of 10.

A wonderful getaway

This property exceeded our expectations for sure. While it is a cabin, it has everything up to date and with quality amenities. We couldn't have been happier and got to spend some relaxing time around the fire pit. Frank is an awesome host.

The Photos Don't Do It Justice...

After seeing the photos and reading the description, my wife and I decided to stay at the Fox Den for our anniversary. We arrived and not only did the beautiful cabin in the woods live up to the description, it is even more beautiful inside than the photos are able to show. Such amazing craftsmanship and care has been put into this place that it honestly is amazing that the owner lets anyone stay here. We have been disanointed with VRBO rentals in the past, but this cabin was pure perfection. Speaking of the owner, Frank was absolutely amazing every step of the way. We did not have any issues while we were there, but asking for local recommendations and a few other communications prior to our trip he was very quick to respond and help out in any way that he could. Our nights were spent sitting out back at the fire pit (fire wood provided!), sipping a glass of wine, and relaxing with not another person in sight. I honestly can't say enough about the Fox Den, or the owner, but I believe that my wife and I may have just found our yearly anniversary retreat. Thanks, Frank!

Great Weekend Getaway

We booked the cabin for an anniversary weekend to basically do nothing. It was a great time of lounging. Very clean and organized. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. One note… there is not internet/ WiFi. That’s just the way it is in the area, but I did bring my Apple TV and just ran it off my phone.

Cute and small cabin

The stay was good, they allowed us to bring our service dog! They gave us a bottle of wine as a gift, but we don't drink wine so we left it. Would've loved to have a washer/dryer on site, we stayed for 6 days and had to go to do laundry on day 4.

. . . because this place is such a treasure, we don't want the secret to get out. If it gets too popular, it'll be hard to book again - and we're definitely booking again! Peace and Stillness

Here's a great review for a VRBO cabin using the words "peace" and "stillness": "We just returned from a wonderful stay at this incredible cabin, and I'm still basking in the peace and stillness it offered. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of serenity wash over us. The cabin's secluded location and surrounded by towering trees made us feel like we were a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with every amenity we needed to feel right at home. But it was the peaceful atmosphere that truly made our stay special. We spent our days hiking, reading, and simply enjoying the stillness of nature. The sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the wind were the only noises we needed to hear. The visit by the neighborhood kitty made it all the more special. If you're looking for a place to escape the chaos of the world and find some inner peace, look no further than this amazing cabin. Hidden Gem!

This was one of the best properties I have ever stayed in, hands down. The owner was so hospitable and helpful and the cabin is immaculate and cozy. A hidden gem!!

This cabin is what you picture when you want a perfect cabin experience! It's rustic on the outside, and beautifully decorated and cozy on the inside. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of meals, Keurig coffee and creamers provided for our morning coffee on the porch swing, and a great bonfire pit with fire starters, matches, and wood provided. The host thought of everything that would make our stay easy and comfortable! We never had any need to call Frank, but we knew if we had any questions, he'd always be available. We appreciated the bottle of wine and "Thank you" card that awaited us upon arrival. The cabin was extremely clean, and the autumn decor made it even more cozy. It was a wonderful getaway for my husband and I to reconnect with some quiet time away from home. Btw, the shower is amazing! You have to see it to believe it! We'd love to stay here again if we get the chance!

Perfect!

There is absolutely no fault that can be found with this perfect cabin! This is by far my favorite place i have stayed with VRBO. I especially loved the fall decor that made it all more personal. I booked this cabin for a little getaway for my mom and myself. We stayed up late talking by the fireplace, walked around the property at sunset, enjoyed the sunrise on the front porch, took a trip to Miller's, and enjoyed a fire at the firepit. The cabin is spotless and had everything we needed.

Peaceful Quiet getaway

Loved this beautiful rustic cabin, decorated for fall & very well stocked with everything we needed for our 3-night stay. It is located in a very quiet rural area that lets you experience the peacefulness of the surrounding woods. We only left to venture out to the Serpent Mounds. Definitely recommend for a quiet peaceful getaway. Very responsive hosts.

There was no corners cut into building this place for many families to enjoy no mater the occasion.
