“The Stoutsville Cabin” offers you a peaceful and secluded getaway!

This cozy cabin offers all the warmth and privacy you could ask for! Open dining, kitchen and living space. Two porches and a balcony with a view. Comfortable and cozy for a romantic weekend for two, yet big enough for a family getaway. Five acres of nature to explore around the cabin and a one acre pond to sit by and enjoy the firepit.

The cabin has an open floor plan dining room through to the living room. Two cozy bedrooms downstairs and a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds and a loft area for the kids to hang out and play.
Speakers throughout the cabin for your music listening. Smart TV, internet and WiFi. Kitchen is stocked with several appliances, including a Power XL Air Fryer, Crock Pot, Ice Tea/Cold Brew Coffee Maker, K-Cup Keurig Duo, and much more!

Just minutes from Mark Twain Lake. Enjoy the day boating or enjoy many of the local attractions. Historic Union Covered Bridge, Florida Winery, Jellystone Water Park, and Historic Hannibal are just a few of the many options the area has to offer. Brochures are available at the cabin.

Cabin is protected by Ring Doorbell Camera. This is used to verify your arrival and to verify the number of guests in your party. After that we shut off all notifications.

Amazing

I kinda want to say how terrible this place was so it won't fill up! We had an amazing time, the house was wonderful, everything was clean and great. There were fantastic little touches. We came to spend a day on the lake, but plan to come back in the fall and maybe winter.

Quiet

The house was very nice and clean. The little things that were done to make us feel comfortable was great. The pond and grounds need time to mature, you can see it's all pretty new. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Cozy cabin in the woods

We had a wedding in Paris,MO and wanted something more than a hotel room. This property is such a charming home. Decorated beautifully with everything you need for your stay. The owners went the extra mile with several nice complimentary items. The home was immaculate and the grounds were groomed as well. If we are in the area again we will book it!

Labor Day Trip

Communication with the owner was wonderful, I reserved months in advance and any time I had a question she was right there to answer them. The house is in fabulous shape and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked for appliances. There is a wonderful gas grill out back. Beautiful house and we will be back.

World class location and stay

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is beautifully maintained both inside and out. 5 minutes from the lake, very secluded and private. Amenities were perfect. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

Amazing family cabin!!

Our family absolutely loved this cabin! They have everything you need and more!! The really the only thing you will need is food. We love that the cabin is secluded and very peaceful. Very clean and nicely decorated. The only thing that my daughters and I didn’t like about it was the hard mattresses. My husband on the other hand loved it! There is plenty to do and explore in the area as well! We are planning our next trip already! I will say this cabin is also perfect for all ages!

What a great property! The pictures do not do it justice. We are already planning more bookings at this property. What amazing hosts the property owners are. Amazing amenities and lots of extra perks. From a bottle of wine to all the fixings for smores nothing was overlooked. This property has been well thought out and has it all for a family to a group of friends no one will be dissatisfied with a stay here. You cam feel that this rental is a passion for its owners. Just plain amazing!

Awesome secluded get away !

This place is amazing! It is everything that is listed and more. All the previous reviews are spot on! It was SUPER clean and well maintained. The host was very nice and always responded with in minutes of our messages or questions. We are already talking about a return trip. We highly recommend this property !!

Great Dad son weekend

Amazing Cabin

Very clean and private cabin with everything you could need. Spent Labor Day weekend here with family. We very much enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer. The outdoor space was amazing. There is a gas grill on the property as well. Would definitely visit here again. About 30 minutes to the marina.

Mini getaway

This was exactly as described! We wanted a getaway before the kids headed back to college and this was perfect. Plenty of room for 6 adults. We never felt like we were on top of each other or yelling for someone to hear us. The fire pit was great for the kids to talk and listen to music, room for the golf net we brought to practice while several were fishing. The beach was close by - and one day we even had that all to ourselves! My daughter has already been texting that she wants to go back. Very clean, host was amazingly responsive. Thank you so much for a great relaxing week!
