We stayed in cabin #3 and enjoyed every moment. There is a treehouse/Tarzan's hut/Eagle's nest to enjoy the sunrise with your morning coffee, listening to the cows waking up and birds singing their morning songs. The cabin is lovely. Very clean, comfortable king size bed, jetted tub for those who like a good soak after hiking all day, gas grill downstairs, gas is provided, along with a fire ring, wood is provided. I think the best part is the owner, Robbie, who came by with his two granddaughters to show us around and brought us fresh produce from their garden. Robbie is the nicest owner/host we have ever had and I have rented many places over the years. He is a delight. So if you are looking for a place to go to get away from it all for awhile this is the place.
If there is a con to the cabin it would be getting down to the lake to kayak. There is a very steep hill that requires a 4 wheel drive a regular car won't do. But if you are in great shape you can walk it.
Thanks Robbie for a great week!
