Walk to the beach with ease from Sunrise Sea 406, a two-bedroom condo that's ideally positioned on the ocean block in midtown Ocean City.

Inside, you'll find every essential for a memorable stay, from free WiFi throughout the condo to central air conditioning and a private washer/dryer to keep you cool and comfortable. There's plenty of space to unwind in the living room (with a 50-inch flatscreen TV for your entertainment), in the full kitchen and dining space, and outside on the balcony or at the building's swimming pool.

In this part of midtown Ocean City, you'll be half a block from the beach in one direction and half a block from Coastal Highway in the other, providing you with easy access to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, bars, markets, miniature golf courses, and other sources of entertainment. The Assawoman Bay Bridge and the Ocean City Tennis Center are just a block south, while the heart of the Ocean City Boardwalk is less than three miles south.

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Dirty Dirty Dirty

We arrived and this place was DIRTY!!! Our feet stuck to the tile floors…we need to go and purchase a mop and Lysol just so we could walk around the place. The carpets needed steam cleaning and lots of updating. The sliding glass doors were broken (locks that didn’t work) and screens off the tracks. The decor in the place needed updating. We were not given the right pool code to access the gates for the pool. Vacasa couldn’t get us an answer for two days!!!! Whole trip was kinda a bust. Very disappointed.

Troublesome

There was blood spots on both the couch and loveseat. Also on the underside of a decorative pillow. The sheets on the twin beds were full of hair. There was a dark 3 inch hair found in the refrigerator. 2 of the 4 burners on the stove didn't work. The DVD player didn't work (wouldn't turn on, tried several outlets). An upper cabinet door above the fridge was duct taped on and fell when tried to open. There was a dead bug on the floor of the bedroom bathroom. Had to remove a door from the tracks to be able to use the washing machine. There was food left in cupboards and something spilled beside the one twin bed on the floor that was sticky. Text the service about these things and nothing was done except a set of twin sheets were dropped by our door the second day. I was told half the cleaning deposit would be refunded and they would contact the property managers to see about more. I was given an email to send pictures, which I did. It has been 3 days and no response since so far. It was adequate but for the money clean and working ondition is the minimum requirement and it failed miserably.

Responsive management

Found the shower curtains were torn and stained upon check in. Contacted management and had new curtains delivered the next day. They also have an interesting game called nightmare, which had an accompaning VHS tape! Oh the memories it brought back hearing it rewind.

We had fun, but there's an issue.

We had a wonderful time on our annual family trip. The condo was a great option compared to the hotels. Here are my issues which I hope someone contacts me about. 1. Alot of garbage behind and under beds in bedrooms. Food, drink, etc. 2. When I went to do laundry there is an abundance of mold in the washer. I mean alot. I wouldn't allow my family to put clothes in there. Needs bleach cycles and throught cleaning before it ruins someone's belongings. 3. Some outlets didn't work, and then a few lamps blew multiple bulbs. My partner is an electrician and this is a big no-no in his eyes. We were half afraid to charge our phones and a fire start in the night. All in all it was a great trip. We had a wonderful time. Loved the location, pool, decor. Etc. The only reason I am mentioning these few hiccups is I feel we paid a HEFTY amount in cleaning fees for it to be not under control.

Would stay again for reasonable price

This location is great! Easy walk to the beach(no street crossing)& restaurants. Unit is on 4th floor so no noise above you. Lots of closet space for beach items, clothes, & there were lots of extra blankets and pillows in there(kids loved the extra covers) we used them to cover up the leather couches. Ac worked amazing. Lots of kitchen supplies, nice view of ocean and bay. Towels and wash clothes were provided. I would give the unit a 5 star, but the cleaning was sub par. There were items left under beds, walls behind toilets were not cleaned, & tubs drained slowww. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We’re a family of 5, 2 adults, 14,10,6.

Great location

This is a great location to the beach and surrounding restaurants. The condo is outdated including the appliances. Several electrical outlets didn’t work, which I questioned the safety of the unit.
