Classic three bedroom bungalow conveniently located half way between downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains. Located in Lakewood, Colorado along the foothills, this home has a beautiful yard with a private estate like feel. This property is a one-minute walk to light rail transportation for shopping, nightlife, and sporting events. Just a short drive to mountain activities such as hiking, rafting, mountain biking, and skiing.
Available for nightly or weekly rental, this home offers a large backyard suitable for weddings, family reunions, outdoor gatherings, with fire pit, barbeque, hot tub, and play area for the kids. Close to light rail, downtown business district, shopping and Lakewood Town Center (Bel-Mar), Colorado Mills Mall, fine and casual dining, and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Great for family vacation.

Owner accesses outbuildings for his personal use. These buildings are separate from the house and yard. Owner reserves the right to access the outbuildings and/or vehicles at any time. Notice will be given in advance. We will work around your plans.

Home away from home

The house is well stocked and so comfortable - you can tell that it is a well cared for home, and Scott was the perfect host. He was very welcoming and accommodating throughout the visit, it was really the perfect stay!

Quiet get-away in city.

This propert was set a little ways back off the road giving it a nice feeling of privacy. The house was quaint and had a feeling of home. The basement was a little low but i am tall so its nobodys fault. We did enjoy the quiet after veing at a concert.

First Adventure to the Mountains

Grandkids first adventure to the mountains! Had an absolute blast!! Needed a great place where our dog could enjoy the trip also. Host and home were so great ! Yard was our favorite part around the home, we are outdoors family. Beautiful green yard, cool, firepit, hot tub.... all right what we needed !! Thank you so much

Oasis in the city

We loved staying here! Scott is a great host and it was perfect for our group and our dog, Vinnie. The grounds are beautiful and the vibe is relaxed and comfortable. Less than a minute to the light rail and walking paths make this a great place to stay in Denver.

Great Backyard and Location

The house is a little dated, but clean and has everything you would need. We had fun playing pool downstairs every night. The backyard is lovely and was a perfect place to host a party for our son who was finishing his graduate studies at Colorado School of Mines. Scott is very friendly and stayed in communication with us during our stay. He does need access to the property for his work and he has two friendly dogs who are also around during the day in the yard.

What a great find!

We had a great time staying at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. How many rental house kitchens are actually stocked well enough to cook all of the components of a Thanksgiving dinner? This one is! This is a large property, with plenty of room for kids to run and play outside. It’s a very quiet area, so we sat in the hot tub and watched the stars in the evenings. We also loved having the pool table in the basement! We played for hours, just hanging out and having fun, as well as watching movies down in that area. Communication with Scott was easy, and we will definitely go back to this location in the future! Thanks again for sharing your home.

Great location and property in lakewood

Visiting local family and this was the perfect spot for us to gather! Scott made us welcome and my grandkids loved the yard, especially making a bonfire and roasting marshmallows!! We also enjoyed the hot tub and shooting pool!! Thanks Scott for giving us a place to share family time!!!

Lakewood Colorado family visit.

Very charming property. Only downside is it is on a busy street, but very quiet inside. Beautiful large yard where we had a great family get together. Scott and Vanessa were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable place. Excellent stay!!

Backyard Bliss

The size and charm of the older home was perfect for our family stay. The best part though, was the lovely yard. We enjoyed relaxing the beautiful shaded yard. An added bonus was the hot tub, which the owner set up for use, and made sure the water level and temperature were perfect for hot summer weather.

Eiber property review

The house is located very close to the Garrison light rail station, so it makes travel without renting a car very easy and affordable. The yard is spacious and shaded, we probably spent more time outside than inside. Mr Gardner has 2 friendly dogs that stayed in the property, we enjoyed playing fetch with them.

That 70s house

The house is a little older but very clean including new sheets! The owner does live and work on the property which at first was a little odd but they left us alone. His communication was fantastic and needed to be as our other VRBO canceled on us 23 hours before we were supposed to check in. Overall we had a pleasant experience.

The stay was okay

The owner let us know we were his first Vrbo guests. Great, kind hearted, lonely disabled veteran. We had prepared for a “no human” vacation, and unfortunately, that was not the case. He runs a business from his home, so he was there with his 3 dogs (sweet as can be!) He was excited to show us around his home. Being the kind individuals we are, we entertained him. He came back the next morning asking if he could grab a few clothes & food for him & his dogs to live on for the weekend. His crew members were there to help. Such, such nice crew members! Thank you for being so kind when he was grabbing stuff! He was very gentle and caring and made sure his dogs were locked in the garage when ours needed to be let out. He will be a great Vrbo owner once his profile is updated to be more accurate. He lives on a very busy street with lots of spaces for dogs to figure a way out of the yard. It is fully fenced in, which was great! We have a blind dog and a small chug that will run for the hills if he gets out. We had to do bathroom break on leash due to this. I’m sharing all of this because there is such unkindness in the world. I’m grateful he got a kind, lesbian couple as guests.
