Property Address: 8743 S. Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32408 - This tastefully decorated and newly renovated, 5th floor, 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo sleeps up to 5 comfortably and offers beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico from the living and dining area. The private balcony overlooks the pool and the sugar white sands of Panama City Beach. It's the perfect spot to watch the sunset in the evening or enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony. The living area is spacious and has a comfy queen size sofa sleeper and a flat screen TV. The bedroom offers a king size bed and bunk beds in the hallway. There is a fully equipped kitchen complete with all normal kitchen appliances; refigerator, stove, dishwasher as well as a washer & dryer, dual coffee pot (drip or Keurig), Ninja grill, air fryer and even a crockpot. There are also beach chairs, cooler, beach bag, beach games and kid toys and books for your enjoyment.
The Summit Beach Resort offers guest onsite amenities such as two large swimming pools (one heated) Tiki Bar, Summit Market, Bikini Bobs Restaurant, hot tubs, picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, a basketball court, three shuffleboard courts and a fitness center. The resort is convenient to many favorite attractions such as Pineapple Willy’s, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Coconut Creek Golf Course & Giant Maze, and Wonder Works. Please, no pets and no smoking. We offer family friendly rentals only, minimum age requirement of 25. Parking Fees and Arm Bands are required and must be purchased from on site Summit office for a fee of $27. This is the PRIME location for a fun-filled getaway. For Summer 2024 beach chair and umbrella service is provided at no cost to the guest. As guest you get discounts for jet ski and parasailing that are right outside on the beach.

We love this condo! It was the nicest one we’ve stayed in so far. The upgrades were beautiful and the balcony had a lot of great seating. The whole process was seamless. We will definitely stay here again!!

Great Beach Vacation
We were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted to stay on the beach. The unit was perfect for our family and was exactly as advertised. The facility has issues with the elevators daily, but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Summit Beach Resort
The problem was not in the unit itself. It was the horrible main elevators. Only one was working when we got there and then the second one wasn’t working most of the week. The two end elevators worked ok but way too many long long waits to get one from overflow of people not being able to use the main elevators. There have been some renovations done at the Summit but the elevators should be the main renovation. And I love the Summit.

GREAT CONDO!
My family and I just stayed at this unit from September 10-17th. At first, we were worried because of some yelp reviews regarding the Summit in general, NOT this specific unit. However, we didn’t have any issues at all. The unit was clean, organized and spacious. We are a family of six and it fit all of us, no problems. The only thing I would say is to bring extra things (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, detergent and dryer sheets). Oh, and the shower door kind of leaks during showers, so place a towel on the floor so clean up any water. As far as the Summit itself, it could use an overall update, but again, we didn’t have any issues. We had to wait for elevators a few times (this is a known issue), but great beach access, nice pools and the outside bar had yummy mixed drinks! The unit owner was wonderful to communicate with. I highly recommend this condo! My family and I will return to this condo next year!

Great view and beach access!
Condo was renovated nicely and very well appointed. It was definitely college spring break so sleeping was difficult w/all the noise and partying, but overall an excellent location and beach access can’t be beat. We just napped on the beach or by the pool during the day. There is Bikini Bob’s for a fast food fix right there on site, or the little market shop by the pools sells fresh made sub sandwiches. The poolside/beach side Tiki Bar was convenient too. Thanks for a nice getaway, we’ll be back.
