This home that sleeps 10, comes fully equipped with everything you will need to walk right in and start you vacation get away at the beach! With View or both the beach, as well as the back bay this house makes for wonderful a wonderful place to enjoy both Sunrises to Sunsets! Just a short path walk right on to the beach and views of the Gulf of Mexico from the windows and deck. You are able to enjoy the relaxation of the sight and sounds of the waves rolling in. Great family beach house

This charming beach house was just perfect for our needs. There were 12 of us ranging from 2-56. 7 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of room for us all. Short 1 minute walk to the beach. Sunrises/sunsets from the porch were awesome. They even provide beach toys, towels, games, etc. Owner is amazing - and quick to respond if you need anything or have questions.

Weekend Family Getaway

Did a quick family weekend getaway with 6-8 adults. Had a really good time, very relaxing. Pros: *15-20 minutes from Galveston so beach was quiet and not crowded. *Fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, Kuerig, and charcoal grill *Short walk to the beach *Great views of the beach from the ground and upstairs. *Outdoor shower with hot and cold water Cons: *Only one shower, but two bathrooms. Not convenient when the house can sleep 10+ people *Master bedroom on second floor only has a jacuzzi tub, no shower. Must go downstairs to main level to use shower. *Walkway to beach is relatively short, but a very narrow and sugary sand patch. Very hard to pull a wagon on and walk in general, especially carrying a lot of stuff. *Sand can get very hot during the summer and will burn/blister your feet if not wearing shoes. Sand is very soft and will get all over your feet even waking with shoes. Halfway on the beach, the sand becomes firm and not hot. *The condo is 15-20 minutes from Galveston so a good drive if you need to go to stores or restaurants

Sea Island Stay

The property had amazing views and super close to the beach. My family really enjoyed the big living room and kitchen area . We cooked on the brand new grill and had fun with all the beach toys provided. The property host was amazing and always available. I would highly recommend staying here.

Family Reunion

The beach house is just what we wanted. Clean , comfortable, spacious. We all loved the view of the beach and gulf! Quiet area away from the bustle of the city.

great getaway beach house!

great sized home for a decent sized group! property owner was fast and responsive! just for anyone that reads this before booking- there’s only one indoor full sized shower, and one outdoor shower so beware everyone will have to share a shower. also bring your own water as there’s not a water dispenser in the fridge! but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Loved that the property was away from the hustle of Galveston. Beach was a few steps away from back door. Highly convenient and felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Great memories made. First time ever to start in Galveston for us.

Fantastic

The home is clean and fresh with just a short walk down the path to the sparkling blue (Our stay was the week the Gulf has blue waters). The house is well appointed with not a lot of trinkets to fall and break. The master suite is up stairs with a covered balcony and where you the close out the noise and rest.

Pay for Insurance that will give you 100% refunds for bad properties.

I booked this reservation because of reviews. My nieces visited me for a vacation getaway for Mother's Day because it was their 1st Mother's Day without their mom being alive. The place smelled, unkept, with broken blinds and to top it off had bed bugs. We could not stay at the property. The owner felt bad and gave us gift cards to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and a refund. Our weekend was ruined. I am still waiting on my final refund from VRBO so this nightmare can be over.

Enjoyed a nice long weekend!

Property manager is very responsive, and property was as described. We enjoyed our stay as it is very close to the water just a short walk and has beautiful views. The little essentials that we forgot were there for us to use until we could buy our own (things like laundry soap, fabric sheets, paper towels). Place is a little older and has some imperfections(could use a refresher/update) but nothing that impedes your stay. Price, location, views and owners quick response make this home a definite place to visit.

2023 Easter Sunday Birthday Gathering

This Beach house Rental was Amazing….!!!! Very Clean and spacious. The neighbors were polite. The view from the patio’s, both upstairs and downstairs was peaceful. My family and friends came in town to celebrate my birthday and also Easter. There was more enough parking space. Plenty of space outside and inside of the home for a family gathering or party. It was just what we were looking for. My family and I will definitely be back again.

Beach wedding stay

We traveled to Galveston for my sisters wedding on the beach. The location is perfect for beach front access ! The over all stay was a positive experience. The only negatives I would say is there was no shower in the master bathroom, only a bathtub . There is a shower in the other bathroom downstairs; which probably is written in the property listing I just overlooked it. This would not prevent me from staying here again. I will say, however, the mattresses for the beds were not very good.. I would not stay here again unless they were updated .. but I hope they do because it really is a great house, good sleep is just a make or break it for us . Also - the cellular service is pretty poor in Galveston , there were a few times before the trip I reached out to the owner and had delayed responses .. which when you’re trying to plan a trip can be a little frustrating .. but experienced first hand the service issues when we made our trip so I give him the benefit of the doubt! The owner seemed very laid back and accommodating and we gave his property overall a 4/5 rating !

Perfect location! Great host!

The location could not be better. It is quiet with a great view of the ocean, quick access to the beach, plenty of parking along the quiet road if you have a larger group. Ron was very helpful at every turn and it made the weekend so smooth. We had everything we needed and loved the home! The jetted tub was also a nice way to unwind.

We’d rent again

We had a lovely stay! There were 9 of us and our pets and we felt like we had plenty of space and we had access to the beach without crossing any roads which was important to us. The house has one shower indoors and one outdoors which worked out just fine for us and the kids thought it was great! Ron was fantastic and easy to reach when needed. When we booked the trip, being able to bring our pet(s) was so important and having space to set up the kennel for their own sense of comfort in a new location for a week - and we were able to achieve this and also provide the kids the “best beach trip yet”. Even they keep asking if we can get the same house next year for a longer stay as we already begin to plan.

Galveston Getaway

There were a few issues with the property we booked- Ron jumped through hoops and arranged an upgraded property for us which was perfect. Wonderful amenities, clean, comfortable and convenient. Loved it can’t wait to return.
