Went down for a funeral and the house was in the perfect location, 5 minutes from the church, low traffic area, nice and quiet area. Everything we needed was in minutes of us without having to get on a major interstate.

Decent Property

The house was ready early, which fabulous! Our original flight got bumped to a much earlier one. The house was true to the pictures. I will say, they could definitely do better on cosmetic repairs. For instance, one of the 4 chairs outside and one tall kitchen bar chair were broken. Holes in walls, and the outside sliding door to the patio does not have a handle. It looks like it broke off. So, when the kids went outside and we shut the door behind them, they couldn’t get back in. I swept the house mid stay and pulled rat feces out from behind the couch and from under the master bedroom bed. The back queen bedroom vent on the ceiling was dropping pink/orange flakes onto my daughter’s bed when she slept. Having a smart tv was great but we had to ask for the non-guest log in because it kept dropping. Overall it was a good space. The back hallway is buckling pretty bad and the house is starting to show its age. It would be great if they added a screen to the bathroom facets, but I noticed it might be a Texas thing. The beds are comfortable and the linens are good. We liked having mostly queens and a king bed. I would stay again and the hosts/manager were super responsive!!

Unwanted guest at our stay

Nice home with lots of room located near shopping areas. The down fall for us was finding a RAT in the garage and then coming home to another RAT in the house. After letting the company know they told me that because of the weather it can bring in some bugs but that was not a bug it was a RAT! And then asked for 5 star review! I would never stay with a company who is more worried about their reviews then what is actually going on in their home.

Great Location, Minor Issues

Overall the property was great for my family, who was in town for a retirement party. Highlights of the property for us were the kitchen, which actually had enough supplies to easily make meals there, and the house location. We had to run errands all around town to prep for the party, and it was easy to get everywhere we needed to go. There was also ample seating for meals and thre was living room space for up to about 6 people to hang out together at once. Minor issues we had included there being a bathroom sink that was slow to drain, neighbors who threw a party one night, an odd smell when we first got there (it dissipated), and there not being enough lighting at the front of the house - it was difficult to see at night.

Great Stay!

This was a total upgrade from my last experience with renting a vacation home. The location was great, very quiet neighborhood. Close proximity to many of the popular places to visit while in Houston. There’s a tv in every room (plus). All appliances worked. There’s plenty of cookware, dinnerware and utensils. Huge backyard! I loved everything about the home for the most part. A few cons, but definitely not dealbreakers: The hallway floor squeaks a bit. The pressure of the water in both bathroom sinks was quite low. Closet in guest room #2 had a slight odor. Could use some regular dish liquid in kitchen rather than hand soap. Overall, excellent choice for me and my five other guests. We were more than pleased and I would definitely stay again when I’m in the Houston area.
