About this property

This recently built home is located directly on the ocean with a small beach, it has spacious rooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen with an extended dining terrace area with view on the ocean. Also Enjoy a private pool. House is set on a very large property for more privacy. The neighbor is a diving center perfect for ocean explorers that want to book dives or kayaks during the stay no need to drive! A grocery store 2 minutes away from house. All rooms are equipped with AC.

You will enjoy the sound of nature with the birds living in the coconut trees by the beach, or in the water look for: fish, Small moray eels, harmless stingrays, harmless black tip sharks ( except if you feed them but don’t!).

Enjoy the paddle boards (x2) that are available and go for a stroll on the ocean. Go where The stingray and black tip shark are famous to be hanging out, it’s about 10-15 minutes in paddle board or kayak away from our home. You can go there for free and swim with them . No need to go by boat .

There is steak house 2 minutes away from the home.
You can also enjoy restaurants at the Tipaniers or Hibiscus.

Amazing property - don't hesitate to book

Our group stayed in the Villa for 8 days and couldn't have enjoyed it more.The accommodations were amazing and exactly as presented in the listing - 3 king size beds and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.The kitchen is huge and has everything you'll need. We cooked breakfast every day and even cooked a few dinners.The pool and outside area was a godsend. We spent the entire trip either out back in the pool or in the ocean/lagoon using the included kayaks (2), paddleboards (2), and snorkeling equipment.The location is perfect. Easy drive / walk to the market to pick up provisions. Short kayak to the area where tours swim with sharks/rays. Just absolutely gorgeous. Would 100% recommend and hope to be able to book again in the future.

Beautiful home

The property was beautiful! Very clean, spacious, well stocked with household items. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We cooked dinners and breakfast at the house and ate on the back deck, enjoying the beautiful beach view. The beach was clean, in the mornings we saw manta rays and black tip sharks swimming around. The kayaks provided were easy to use and we enjoyed using them. Very quiet area. The pool was refreshing between kayak trips and evening swims. The only downside was the main area did get very warm during the day, even with the doors and windows opened. I would also recommend a ceiling fan of some sort out in the back deck area to help keep bugs away and circulate air. All in all this was a beautiful home and we had zero issues with the owner/management team and I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic house on lagoon

Excellent house and location

We loved staying here. We agree with the other positive reviews. It was wonderful to be right on the ocean but also away from any busy roads or hotels. One thing to look out for is bugs. There were lots of mosquitos and no screens or nets. Bring spray and a sleeping net. It is fairly typical of island homes in Tahiti to not have screens. I guess the locals are used to it.

Beautiful house

Great house, very high end. Lovely view. Located next to a great public sandy beach, 5 min drive away. We might suggest putting some screens on the windows in the kitchen to get some cross breeze into the main part of the house. Kayaks were really fun to use. Host was very responsive.

It’s a perfect rental in every aspect. Best location, great view and access to coral reefs, best equipped with kitchen supplies and water activity supplies. Super clean. They did not go cheap on anything, and you’ll enjoy it very much for as we did!

Perfect Vacation Rental for a 5 star stay!

This property is absolutely wonderful. Terrific location, great amenities, beautiful views, fun snorkeling right off the property, and high end fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The a/c in the bedrooms worked great. The beds are comfortable, though the bedding and towel quality could be better (a minor complaint). All paper products, dish soap, shampoo, body wash and laundry detergent are supplied with extras in the laundry room. Beach towels, SUP’s and kayak available for use. The double kayak was very fun and we used it to go to Coco Beach for lunch (it was a bit further than it looked!). If we come back to Moorea in the future we will 100% rent this home again!

Amazing house

We loved out stay here! The house was beautiful and the location was amazing! Walking distance to a little grocery store to get pastries in the morning and a short paddle board or kayak ride to the sharks and stingrays. Or just hang out at home at the house and enjoy the view! We hope to be back soon!!

I can’t say enough about this house to do it justice. It looks brand new, nicely furnished and decorated, comfortable beds and pillows plus it has an awesome infinity pool and is on the ocean. If we ever come back to Moorea this would be our first choice. This house and it’s location enhanced our trip. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Location with Stunning Views and Accommodations

This is a gorgeous property with spacious, luxe accommodations, perfect for our trip with close friends. The pictures truly don't do it justice and our jaws dropped when we walked through the door. We enjoyed the provided paddleboards and kayak and absolutely loved the location. You can literally walk around the corner to many different activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, etc. And then there's the views of Moorea's incredible sunsets. The best seat in the house is in the glorious pool which we put to very good use. The beds were comfortable, the AC in all bedrooms was fully functional, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The decor and finishes are high-end throughout. We had a minor issue with check-in that was resolved quickly and communication with the host was sparse when we had a question mid-stay. These slight inconveniences would not prevent me from booking this incredible property again.

Perfect Family Stay

We booked the property for family of four, two adult parents and two adult kids. It could not have been more perfect. The location is absolutely perfect with snorkeling and waves directly in front of the home and the pool is wonderful to relax in. The kitchen is excellent and well equipped if you wish to cook at home. Also, we found the location to be ideal with grocery and restaurants extremely close. Any return trip to Moorea will be booked at this location.

Perfect!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. 4 adults, but will sleep 6 adults (3 couples) Perfectly. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and air conditioner. The house was practically brand new, spotless, and in the perfect location to good restaurants and water activities. You can kayak straight out to the mantas, sharks and snorkeling. The host was responsive and the house manager was easy to contact via What's App. Book it! WE will definitely be back.

First time in Moorea

The house is beautiful, located on a quiet bay in Moorea. The pool is a hit with kids and made it easy to hang out at the house. The house is decently well appointed but was missing basics like coffee and sugar that would have made the stay more comfortable. There is air in the bedrooms but it is missing from the family room and it gets really hot in there. Beds are comfy and we slept well. Heifara who is your main contact is very sweet and accommodating.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It is a brand new Architectural Digest type home, with two bedrooms in main house and another kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and sitting area in private small house. Both are directly at waters edge and the lagoon is gorgeous. Snorkel, kayak and paddleboards included. Fully fenced and gated and very secure in high end residential area. Next to currently closed Intercontinental Mo’orea. Great dive shop boat tours next door, grocery right around the corner. We did rent a car though, to sightsee around the island. Got it at Tahiti airport and took it over on the ferry.

Great house, great location, nearly perfect.

I say "Nearly" perfect because nothing can be perfect. The house was great. Feels brand new, well made, modern, clean, all the amenities worked and are of good quality. Rooms are great, bathrooms are excellent. The pool is fantastic. The kitchen is the star. Not only the center of the house but has a view, a breeze and just functions so well. The location is great. It puts you minutes away from the sharks and rays by kayak or great snorkeling at the Motu's. The dive center next door did not make much noise and they were all gone by 6PM. They have 2 kayaks and a paddle board, I'm personally not a fan of inflatable kayaks, fortunately they only had 1 and the other was a proper sit on top. The detached casita is great, it gave our 18 year old his own space. You can easily get to a very good grocery store, fresh baguette and brie every morning and access to many other local restaurants. This is our third trip to Moorea in as many years and will book this house again for sure.

Book this house!

This house is perfection! It is so much better in person than in the pictures. From the minute you walk in the front door you are in awe. The main house has 2 bedrooms off the livingroom (each with a king bed and a twin and their own bathrooms), so it was the perfect set up for our family of 5. We didn't use the guesthouse but it's an awesome addition with one king bed, kitchenette and bath. The views are incredible. Both the front and back yard are very large, so lots of room to run around and the entire property is gated so we always felt very safe. The water is super shallow right of the back and filled with tons of fish and a couple of baby reef sharks - sometimes even a ray would come visit! The addition of the paddle boards and kayak came in very handy. The house also has some snorkel gear. We could not have asked for a better location. You are a 10min paddle away from the main shark/ray swim spot, 20min paddle to Coco Beach, right next to the dolphin experience at the old Intercontinental, and a few minute walk (or even shorter drive) from a great market and bakery (Coco et Banan) and the ATV tour spot is next door to them. Great restaurants are within a 3min drive as well. Nemo's scuba diving is on the other side of the wall but you can only hear them refill the oxygen tanks twice a day and it's not disruptive. The sunrises and sunsets were incredible from the backyard. Do not hesitate to book this house!

Appalling Security Issues

This house had a number of positives: beautiful location, very comfortable and well-equipped with excellent decor. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend against staying here. What could have been a great experience turned into a nightmare because of major security problems. Within 4 hours of arrival, while we were asleep, in a fully locked house, we experienced a home invasion in which we lost many valuables (again, from INSIDE the house). The security issues did not stop there. We continued to witness additional attempts to break in, which were frustrated by the fact that after the first night we physically jammed the front door before going to bed. On one occasion, with the lights in the house off we saw a man come to the pool area and go through items outside. Thus, we lost 4 pairs of sneakers and several clothes. We didn’t leave valuables outside, but we did leave dirty shoes, and hung our towels, swimsuits and laundry to dry. You cannot do that in this house. A very uncomfortable situation for a relaxed vacation by the ocean. These incidents left us all with a sense of vulnerability. First, that this happened within hours of our arrival made us suspect that either this house and/or us were somehow targeted, with knowledge of our arrival—something we cannot prove but which was the r reaction of many locals who talked to us and given some of the context for this house. Moreover, we learned that a number of people have keys to the house and can access it. Also, when we rented the house, and based on the advertisement, we were led to believe that the house was protected by strong and secure fence around it. It was not: major gaps in the fence during our stay made it possible for anyone to access the property at ease. This was unknown to us at time of booking Finally, unlike many other rental houses on the island, the house lacks other security measures which would have been helpful to mitigate the attempts at breaking in: only one motion sensing light at the front door, no cameras or alarm system, no safe, etc. While the owner was sympathetic, in the end no remediation or action was offered to address the problems. Bottom Line: this house gives unrestricted access to anyone from the street, appears to be known as an insecure home, and may have people attempting to get in. Unless you are prepared to live as if in a fortress, then it is a house that will end up providing inordinate stress to you and your family.

Magnifique et calme

Rare sur moorea, le calme d’un lagon presque privé. La maison et le fare attenant sont très beau et très propre. Tous les besoins sont comblés. L’alimentation générale à côté est une merveille. Je recommande sans réserve.

This home will be our retirement home one day, it's our little paradise that we are happy to share with you. We go there every weekend to relax from the city life of Papeete Tahiti. We enjoy little things like strolling on the paddle board in the morning when it's not too warm, and the water is clear and flat we get to see the underwater creatures better. We also enjoy hanging by the pool with the kids. I love diving myself so being neighbor to a scuba center is idealic. The stars at night are also amazing, and the sound of the black Noddys makes you feel closer to nature.

For Dolphins lovers, the property is neighbor to the Moorea Dolphin Center, you can book to learn and swim with the Dolphins ( Retired Dolphins born in captivity from the US Marine Military and brought to French Polynesia for a nice retirement) https://www.mooreadolphin.com/

For Scuba Divers, we are also neighbor to a Dive Center located on the other side of the fence! Just need to go through the gate. You can also book with them whale watching during whale season.
