Great location but in need of serious upgrades
We really loved the location of this house. Great proximity to the beach and beautiful views from the deck on the back of the house. The backyard is a great size for families. We had 8 people stay (four adults and four kids-all teens). We found that there was ample space for everyone. The two beds for the adults were a bit small but still worked nonetheless.
However, we felt our stay could have been better with some much needed upgrades in the house. The upper deck was new and they have new couches in the living room (different from the pictures you see online), so I believe they're starting to make changes. Everything is very "dated" in the home and seem original to when the house was first made. The bunk beds were really squeaky and seemed old. The washer and dryer were so loud we were unable to use it in the evening. The wicker furniture in the bedroom was pretty dirty.
The top bunk beds were not made upon entering. The Vacasa rep told me that it's a liability for their housekeeping staff to make those beds, so be prepared to make them yourselves.
None of the trashcans had liners. We had to place all of them inside.
As I told the representative, I know all of that sounds petty, but these are things I do every day and look forward to them being ready to go when I am on vacation. (I'm obviously okay filling them as we use them throughout the week). We paid a lot of money to have things ready on arrival, so it was disappointing.
As is, I don't know that I'd highly recommend this place as is. With upgrades, the location is great if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and hit the beach.
