Great location, just wished the air conditioning worked
The good:
Nice place, very conveniently located proximal to Waterton. Tons of space for the four of us. Lots of natural light and a very airy feel to the place.
Well stocked kitchen. We didn't end up doing much cooking, but it looked like it had everything we'd need.
Bed were comfortable. Internet connection worked well. Being able to park 20 ft from the kitchen make loading and unloading very convenient.
There was another party on the lower level, but we could hardly tell they were there.
Thank you so much for having a floor plan in the listing! It is always so hard to put together the interior layout from just a few pictures.
The bad:
This isn't a knock on the place, just a note on the area, we did wish we'd brought a bit more food with us as the grocery options in Waterton and Mountain View are very limited and after a day of hiking, we didn't feel like venturing further, but we got by. I'm sure there are better stores a bit further from the house.
When we were there, the highs were in the upper 80s to low 90s. The big windows let in a lot of heat in the afternoon/evening even with the blinds closed you could feel the heat radiate into the living room. The air conditioning either couldn't keep up or just plain wasn't working, because when we got there it was 85 degrees in the house.
