Enjoy a stay in Palisade just off the Fruit and Wine Byway with a hot tub and patio with a view of Mt. Garfield. 2 bed/1.5 bath house with 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and a comfy pullout couch. 2 Nigerian dwarf goats will greet you in the yard.

We have 6 wineries within 2 miles and a short walk to Orchard River View wedding barn. We are less than a mile from the end Palisade Plunge trail and Palisade Rim trail.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook on a gas stove. We provide coffee, cereal, and pancake mix.

Enjoy the view of Mt. Garfield with a bottle of local wine from the patio dining area or hot tub. We have amazing sunsets here.

We thoroughly clean the entire house and linens between stays.

Amazing stay

We were thrilled with out stay in Palisade. The home was comfortable, the location was excellent and the goats were delightful. The hosts even made special accommodations for a small gathering we held, which was extremely kind of them. If we are back in the area, we will be staying here again!

Palisade Paradise

This is the perfect property for people who would like to bicycle through orchards and vineyards and stop in at the wineries and distilleries. The setting is country comfort. Unfortunately, that was not our party. We had an elderly group who could not do the steep staircase and struggled with uneven floors and low beds. We were just not the right fit for this sweet, clean farmhouse. I should have asked more questions.

Memorable Stay

We stayed in this quaint little farm house for a weekend. The location was perfection and incredible relaxing. The house was generally clean but could use a deep clean. However, we would stay here again in a second! The neighbors were also lovely!

Weekend in Palisade

Great place to stay in Palisade! Very comfortable and accommodating, would definitely recommend. We also loved saying hi to the goats each morning on our way out. :)

View of our dreams!

Visited Palisade for a wedding. The Yellow Guest House was wonderful and nestled amongst the peaches and canyon views. It was a cozy stay. Having Jazzy and Goose goats greet us was a highlight. Comfy beds and the hot tub topped it off!

Lovely spot, pleasant stay

Quiet area with easy access to town. Nice area for outdoor dining. Cute goats. If watching TV is important, you should plan to being a laptop with HDMI access. All in all, a pleasant stay in a comfortable house.

Great location!

We chose this vrbo because it is out of town a little ways- we did not want to be in the middle of the festivities during the peach festival because of traffic and busyness. This location is private, near the rim trail (walkable to trail) also walkable to a single restaurant and to floating. It was perfect for our needs. The house itself is well stocked and has everything you would need. The beds are good quality and comfortable. There is a single full bathroom and a powder room. That worked well so that having 4 adults sharing it was more a matter of communication. Also the house was relatively comfortable even though they don’t have AC but just a swamp cooler. The temps were mid to high 90s and we were comfortable.

Amazing girls weekend

Property was convient to everything we were doing in the Palisades. Right in the peach orchard. Goats are hilarious. Beds were comfy and the house had all we needed. We went during a really hot time, so the evaporative cooler couldn't keep up. (They can only cool the space 20 degrees cooler than the outdoor temperature). I would recommend bringing a fan.

Great stay!

We loved the area and there is a distillery on the river an 11 minute walk from the location. The hot tub, goats, and cats were our favorite part! Thomas was very accommodating and it was very easy to add an extra day to our stay last minute as well. We had great time and would definitely recommend!

Great cottage, wonderful hosts and really cute goats!

In proximity to everything but quiet, home is clean and spacious. We were too tired to try the hot tub but loved the adorable goats and personal petting zoo lol! Close to grand junction, grand mesa and arches park we did a little of everything during our stay. Host was accessible and very nice. Loved our vaca!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood. We loved having the hot tub outside, very peaceful among the orchards and vineyards. Thomas was very easy to communicate with and we had no problems. I would love to stay there again during peach season!!

Slow, Quiet and Peaceful

The check in was amazing, easy as one could expect. Communication with the host, Thomas, was excellent. The home was everything we expected, remote but not too remote, country but not too country. The area is just beautiful. We did not have a single issue throughout our stay. Excellent place for wine adventuring, writing, or just to get away from city life for a weekend. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Very relaxing

Check in was super easy and there was plenty to keep us entertained for the weekend when it rained - games, hot tub, etc… it was a short drive into downtown and within walking distance of the wedding venue our friends booked. The bedroom curtains kept the morning sun out too allowing for very restful sleep. Would stay here again.
