Harbor House is a oceanfront Dutch Colonial, overlooking Ellsworth Harbor. Located in downtown Ellsworth with its many restaurants, grocery stores and shopping centers, it’s the perfect spot to explore Downeast Maine. Acadia National Park is less than 20 miles away. Schoodic Peninsula, the mainland part of Acadia National Park is less than 30 Miles away.

3 bedrooms, all upstairs have new mattresses. One king, one queen and one twin, each in their own bedroom. Also upstairs is the full bathroom with a tub/shower. Downstairs is a large living room with a sofa and smart 65” roku TV. A dining room with seating for 6 and the fully stocked kitchen, with all the pots, pans, plates, bowls and utensils you need. All you need to bring is the food and beverages. Outside, facing west is the back deck, great for watching the tidal flows on the Union river and the glorious Maine sunsets. Adjacent to the house is a large grassy area, perfect for a picnic or afternoon nap in the shade.

For your safety and security my Harbor house has outdoor Ring cameras. Absolutely NO cameras are inside the house.

I invite your family or group to visit Vacationland and explore Ellsworth, a growing mid-coast town with plenty of activities and amenities to keep everyone happy.

Moved to Maine from Utah, The ocean is so rad, I couldn’t stay away.

Why they chose this property

This Dutch colonial style home is quintessential, mid 1930’s coastal Maine. I bought it from a cute, tiny, 92 year old lady. She left some charming pieces that I kept in the design. But, some things needed updating like the kitchen so, “Harbor House” is the perfect blend of old school and updated.

What makes this property unique

This place is wicked charming. Entertain yourself on the back porch for hours watching hundreds of sea birds flying around. Osprey hunting fish, Sea Eagles trying to steal fish from the Osprey. Sandhills Cranes walking the shores. Ducks quacking in the mornings, Blue Herrings roasting in shoreline trees, Swans…. etc.

Or walk downtown to Fogtown Brewery, listen to live music and enjoy fresh, local beers. Also downtown, Sugar Mags has pinball machines and old school candies/treats. Across the street 86 This makes bomb ass burritos. Adjacent to the library is the new (opened Sep 22) River walk trail guiding you along the bank, perfect for even more nature gazing.
