This is our personally owned vacation home; not a corporate owned cabin. The warmth and personal touches will make your stay here rise above the majority of the cabins in the area. We take pride in our cabin and it shows! Not one detail was missed in our recent renovation. The cabin has new bedding and decor, brand new memory foam mattresses, loads of new furniture inside and out, new smart TVs in bedrooms, living room and game room, a new roof, fresh staining on cabin & decks and more.

The roads to the cabin are winding but absolutely beautiful. You will enjoy the drive up to the cabin almost as much as you love staying there. The roads are fully-paved, two-way lanes. In the winter months, 4 wheel drive is recommended but not required. We also recommend starting GPS before you leave the cabin & also when heading back as service can be spotty in the mountains. Access to the cabin requires a few steep hills and narrow roads the last 5 minutes' drive to the cabin, please consider this before booking. Vehicles in good working condition can all access this cabin as long as it is not inclement weather.

Winter Bookings: We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance through a third-party company, we do not provide it. This will get you a full refund in case it is unsafe to access the cabin or power goes out for an extended period of time. An inch or two of snow is possible from December to February. Ice on the roads is possible after a rain and nighttime temps dropping below freezing. Monitor weather before your stay and we will notify you if conditions are not safe.

Flat lot with parking comfortable for 3 -4 cars. Street parking and parking in our yard are both prohibited.

All guests must be 21+ (children with parents or grandparents are allowed). Parties or special events are not allowed. Please remember this is a cabin and not a hotel. Please treat our cabin with respect.

We provide a starter pack including: hand soaps for all bathrooms, 1 bottle each - travel size shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bathroom, liquid dish soap (Kitchen), laundry detergent pods, a trash bag inside each can, makeup remover towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and 2 rolls of paper towels. You may need more of these items so please plan accordingly for your stay.

***Pet Policy: Only dogs over 2 years old and under 40 lbs allowed. Max 2 dogs. Must be potty-trained, crate-trained, and crated at night and when home alone. Non-refundable $125 fee per dog. No cats allowed. Dogs must be under 40 pounds. Your pet fee is due 48 hours before check in. If the cabin is damaged by your dog, which would include excessive amounts of shedding, furniture that has been chewed on, mud from their feet or unexpected surprises, including fleas, or urine/feces, you will be notified and charged for the excessive wear. You can control this by cleaning up after your dog and ensuring that they do not damage the furniture. Pets must be on a leash when outdoors. We are not responsible for lost pets. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and must be house-trained. When left at the property alone, dogs must be confined in a crate. We recommend bringing a few old towels with you to wipe off their feet after going outside, especially in the wet months, as Tennessee Red Clay is inevitable.

Critters: The cabin is in the mountains which means you may see some wildlife, including Black Bears, and other critters. Bears are dangerous, do not feed or approach bears. Do not leave food in vehicle or leave vehicle open when unloading. Put all trash in provided bear-proof trash bins outside.

**** Our hot tub is drained and filled between each stay and takes several hours to get to optimal heat, and therefore may mean it won't be hot immediately at the time of your checkin. We advise guests to give the hot tub till the morning after their check in to reach full heat and/or contact us about remediating temperature.

Safety rules: Do not lean or hang on railings.
The hot tub is for guests 21 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol, or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub at your own risk! No food should be eaten in the hot tub and no glass in or near the hot tub. Please be advised that this property utilizes a ladder to access the bunk beds. By renting this property, you are agreeing to hold the owner and property manager harmless for any injury or death that is resulting from the use of the ladder.

- No late check-outs as we rely on you leaving in time so we can prepare for our next guests. If you depart late, there will be a $50 charge per every 30 minutes.
- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.
- No Smoking in or around the cabin. We ask that you walk out to the street to smoke. You will be charged $250, plus the increase in cleaning fee if cigarette butts or smoke odor is found.
-Firewood is not provided. Please let us know if you would like to have it delivered for an additional charge.

Everything we hoped for and more!
We loved the cabin and our time at the property! The location was perfect. We were able to get to all of the surrounding towns easily. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. It was really a home away from home for us. Our kids loved the game room in the basement. It easily accommodated all of us. The view was amazing! It was peaceful and just what we needed.

Nice getaway
Very nice property, cleanliness was pretty high. Minor property issues but nothing too serious, the door near the hot tub had a loose handle that I repaired and the hot tub support arms to remove the cover are broken which causes removal of the cover to be a bit difficult, gas grill drip tray needs a deep cleaning as it flares up due to old debris, overall the location was very nice and the check in process was great, the cabin had ample supply of amenities such as paper towels, dish pods, etc

Cozy cabin convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg
Huckle-beary hideaway is a great place to stay a short drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. The hot tub and fire pit were a big hit as well! September is a great time to visit the area - we had perfect weather and didn't have to fight the crowds.

Spectacular accommodations!
Absolutely spectacular! Close to attractions, while being able to get away. Quiet and comfortable. Had a blast in the game room! Super clean. Close to hiking trails. All the essentials to cook at home. Just what our family needed to close out the summer! Highly recommend-would add more stars if the rating allowed!

Great Time
We had a great time on our stay for the week of the fourth! Everything was excellent. The cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The amenities were extraordinary. Everything was so well stocked (dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, etc.), I can can't imagine needing anything that wasn't there already. Televisions everywhere, easy access to programming, games and entertainment were exceptional. We even got to see a mama bear and three cubs in the neighborhood. The location is perfect - very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge - yet still wooded with some privacy.

Expected more.
We wondered if the house was even cleaned before our arrival. In the living room there was a bottle of tea that was half empty and was stuck to the floor. The main floor bathroom had debris on the floor and there was poop in the toilet. The hot tub heater never was operational, I contacted the owner multiple times. They sent someone from their team multiple times. Hot tub never functioned properly our entire stay. Water temperature was to cold and we never used the hot tub. Listings states it is a two and a half bath in truth, it's only a two bath. There is no half bath on the property.

Beautiful cozy cabin
My husband and I took along our two young daughters and our 14 yr old shorkie. It’s nestled up the mountain but still close to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We so enjoyed the views over coffee and the hot tub for some evening wine. My daughters loved the games and the corn hole. We will definitely be back.

Huckle-beary Hideaway
Traveled with four adults on a mini vacation of five days. What a wonderful, cozy, fully equipped cabin. Everyone had a very comfortable room with an A+ mattress in each room. Living area was perfect. The game room was so much fun that we had a hard time going to bed at night. Outside porch was wonderful to sit and rock on. Proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was perfect. We have been to this area many times and found that this cabin was the best we have stayed in so far. Wonderful communication with owners. Answered all of our questions quickly. Will stay here again.

Refreshed.
This cabin is perfectly situated in between two great towns with lots to do. We rode the motorcycles from IN and getting up and down the mountain was a breeze. The hot tub was relaxing after a fun filled day out on the town. We will definitely be back. :)

My family loved the cabin! The kids had plenty of things to keep them entertained. My 8 year old said it was The best vacation (and we went to Disney World last year) From the outside it looked like we was going to have a tight fit but it was very spacious inside! I loved being out in the mountains but not far from everything!

Great Place for a Great Vacation
We had a wonderful stay. The absolute best part was the location! We were super close to Great Smokey Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. There was so much to do within 30 min of the cabin, that everyone was able to whatever they wanted to. Another bonus to the location was the abondance of restaurants nearby. The cabin was comfortable with lots of nice to haves. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. The gas firepit, was quick and easy to use for an evening fire, we even roasted a few hot dogs. I loved that there were TVs in the bedrooms as well as public spaces. We had a bit of rain, so the game room provided lots of fun on those evenings. We had the thrill of seeing a few bears from the cabin. And while there are cabins all around, it still felt very secluded. I certainly would recommend staying here, it contributed to a memorable vacation for us.

We had a great time staying at this cabin! The description was very accurate. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed, it was clean and decorated nicely. There was plenty of room for our 2 families and dog. Both the game room and deck seating were a hit. Its very close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg once leaving the scenic view from the mountain
