Desert Oasis

Hat’s off to our hosts. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and close to the Joshua Tree NP. There was an abundance of amenities inside and outside. This is a property you do not want to pass by. We are looking forward to our return visit.

Wonderful Experience

Our daughter had a small Joshua Tree Wedding, and this house had the perfect outdoor space to accommodate our >20 guests. Jerry was so accommodating. We had a lovely time. Thank you!!

I love how the host, Jerry prepared any possible things that the customer might need for the stay. So thoughtful. Jerry even come by to help us make fire! Very lovely and nice couples~ Also, as the place is isolated from the town and other buildings/house, so you basically own the whole area. Good privacy and freedom! Totally recommended to stay over at Casa De Sunset!

Perfect

There are no words to express how accommodating Jerry and Kim were as hosts. They went well out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We used this property to host a 50 person wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. The property has incredible 360 degree views of the desert. Whether you are looking to host an event or just have a family trip, we highly suggest booking this property. We look forward to staying here in the future.

Two sunsets in Joshua Tree and we spent them both here.

This is the perfect property for a trip to Joshua Tree. I mean it must be, considering the immaculate interior, gorgeous backyard and outdoor kitchen, and to top it all of an incredibly sweet host. We were having a wonderful evening already when I got the text "Are you at house? I would like to bring the butter for popcorn 😄" A wonderful experience all around.

USMC Reunion

Was looking for a special place for a 29 Palms 40 year reunion with a long time Marine buddy and his wife. Well, we found it! Jerry was an amazing host! We stayed in his two bedroom Sunrise property which was perfect! He also offered his 3 bedroom Sunset property that looked equally nice. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank you Jerry!

Family Reunion

Came together from three states to be all together with our Marine son. The house was absolutely perfect inside and out for our reconnect weekend! Convenient and Comfortable

The location is convenient to town but still feels secluded. It was a short easy drive to Joshua Tree. The host thought of everything for our family. The house was comfortable and had everything we need.

Really enjoyed the experience

We really enjoy the place and Jerry was great! The house is very well organized and the backyard is a gem. The setting is a true desert experience. Joshua tree park is close by as are groceries and a few restaurants. Strongly recommended for your family getaway!

It's the best property I have every been in.

The host went above and beyond for providing the best experience. Every small detail about this house it just perfect. The house has everything you need and even more. The location is amazing with panoramic view, I think it's on a small mountain. My party loved it so much that we are gonna be back here soon.

Kimmy and I, had been married for over 25 years. Kimmy is 4th grade teacher and I am General Contractor. Kimmy was born and raised in Twentynine Palms and I was born in Czechoslovakia and have lived in this city since 1996. We live less than 1 mile from property we built and manage. We will make sure your stay experience is the best. You will not forget our homes.

Why they chose this property

Our home is named "Casa De Sunset" for that reason- You have breathtaking views of our amazing sunsets and equally stunning sunrises and the starlit evenings. During the day you have our gorgeous mountain ranges in view with their light purple hue.
This space is truly an escape to nature. The 2 bedrooms 2.5 bath home has been tastefully decorated with pieces that represented the colors of the evening sky. We wanted to make the home very welcoming and entertaining, but still cozy for people not traveling with family or friends. Our outdoor area has a hammock area to rest in the afternoon or star gaze at night. We built a custom firepit that has plenty of room to add more sitting and still not feel crowded. UNLIMITED FIRE WOOD. We have a custom cornhole area as well. The patio area has an outdoor dining area with plenty of seating. There is a built in BBQ area with mini fridge and sink as well for our grill masters. We supply a Bluetooth super speaker that may be used outdoors (still be mindful of the volume). There are designated Mexican blankets that can be used to wrap up with outside by the firepit. We have Edison lights to brighten up the outdoor areas in the evening if needed.

Casa De Sunset is located on 5 acre lot. There is another Airbnb home called Casa De Sunrise. Both homes are separated by a fence to ensure privacy to our guests at both homes. Homes are in secluded area and are 200 feet apart from each other.
The closest local neighbors are 2000 feet away. Road leading to our homes is a solid packed dirt road and it is 1/2 mile long from the paved street. Grocery store is 4 miles and Joshua Tree National Park is 9 miles (15 min) away from our homes.

What makes this property unique

We are set up for large group events (Weddings, Birthday parties etc.). Please advise if you are considering it. If you would like to setup anything for a special occasion or in addition to what we offer (such as groceries or items needed) Please call or send a message, so we may work with you to make your stay more memorable.
