I'm normally too lazy to say a lot, but this was, hands down, the best hosting experience I've ever had from from any short-term lodging service! David and Victoria were incredible. The cabin was spotless, and super comfy. They provided locally sourced breakfast breads, turnovers, and fresh fruit. Unexpected, but totally appreciated. Oh, and the firewood. David kept us fully stocked up as part of the standard service, and we enjoyed the firepit each night. That is an awesome touch that nobody in this business does. We toured the property and learned about the charity work done for veterans. No "lip-service" to charity. They actually help improve the lives of veterans and their families. You can see the proof on the property. We'll certainly be back. I almost don't want to say how good the stay was, because I don't want it to get overbooked and block me out of future stays. But, that just wouldn't be right. Book with confidence that you'll be in a clean, modern yet country, family-friendly home that will leave you with nothing but fond memories.
We loved our stay with David and Vicki. They were extremely hospitable and helped to make our experience very memorable. She brought us delicious banana bread and invited us to a wonderful dinner. The cabin was quiet, accommodating, and exactly what we needed for our stay as we tended our own property nearby. Being able to shut off the world and just enjoy our surroundings is truly a blessing in disguise and we were thankful.
Perfect place to stay and get away from the city lights. Perfect cabin nestled in the woods.
Property owners are top notch! They even brought us milk and juice. We were allowed to fish on the nicely manicured pond located on site. The deck was nice, the beds were comfortable, the fire pit was already full of kindling, the A/C will freeze you out if yo want it to, and the gas grill was a nice surprise for an easy dinner. We will be coming back.
