Stunning Expansive Wildlife Views Bald Head Island

Spring is 3 day minimum. SUMMER 7 day minimum (Usually SAT-SAT). after mid August it's back to 3 day minimum through Sept 20. (rates are slightly higher when 'long weekends / short stays' are booked.)
Few homes on Bald Head Island have the combo of privacy and gigantic expansive marsh/creek views as Belle Haven. Many renters share "this is what Bald Head USED to be like!" 2 golf carts (4p, 6p). Tons of amenities like smart TVs and beach gear. check out the flyover video! Our home is pet-friendly (dogs w permission and fee). Access BHI CC (golf / tennis / pool / restaurants) through our home/membership and guest registration. (we do not offer Shoals club access).
Our home is on the north side of BHI so well protected from the constant drum of the ocean wind. Elevated vistas of the marsh, creek, and nature conservancy all the way to the horizon. Miles of nature from every deck! Every single room of our house has views of the salt marsh wetlands and creek. As you ascend upwards into our home the views get even better.

The house is organized in such a way where there is a large ‘great room’ connected to the kitchen/bar and dining room area. On the other bend of the home are the bedrooms. Every bedroom has a private bathroom including a shower. There is even an outdoor shower.
Bedroom Overview: master has a king, second bedroom has a queen. bedroom 3 has twin bunkbeds and a queen. also in the home is a 2 twin trundle bed in the corner upper foyer. (technically this means you could sleep 8 in bedrooms, and an additional 2 people in trundles.) We cap the capacity at 10.

We provide all the beach towels you will ever need, we just ask that you launder them the night before you depart.

Amazing

This was our first time actually staying on Bald Head, and this was the perfect house for it. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house was clean and just as pictured. The host was very responsive and helpful. We loved the golf carts and truly, everything you would need was provided. The views are to die for, and the rooftop deck was amazing! 10/10 recommend this place. We will definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic BHI Experience

Private, quiet lot on the marsh, great views of the marsh and lighthouse (especially from crow's nest and deck off living room), good proximity to marina, central market/shops, and South beach. House setup good for entertaining/gathering with family/friends. Owner communication was excellent. First time to BHI and everyone loved it. Can't wait to return.

Incredible

Remarkable, even for Bald Head Island. Has its own little peninsula! Perhaps the longest driveway on BHI. Deer came to visit. Incredible crow's nest, wonderful view and lots of birds. Very comfortable house. Great owner communication too. Golf carts were speedy (for golf carts) and in good shape. We plan to return!

Tops for BHI nature watching and 360 views

Bii-annual family week. Architect-designed, 3 BR, 5 bath home on private, >1 acre maritime forest peninsula adjacent to Bald Head creek allowed for 6 adults and two children to “spread out” , especially in great room, decks, and observation. tower. Day bed allowed two addl guests overnight. Great location not far from marina and grocery w two golf carts. Easy cart ride to south beach or east beach. Close to kayak launch on BHI creek. Bike and kayak rental options avail. Hosts provide a wealth of info and useful tips in emails and on site printouts. Well equipped kitchen. Expect great photos and memories.

Belle Haven on the Marsh

We had a wonderful time. This was our first stay on the marsh side of the island and we were not disappointed. A beautiful property, and the “Crow’s Nest” was simply amazing. I would heartily recommend Belle Haven for anyone looking for beautiful views and a spot away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of the island.

The house is in arguably the best location on the island of you are a lover of nature and marsh views. House was well stocked and comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen could use some updates.

Can’t beat location on the marsh - must stay

Loved the sweeping porch views, the variety of spaces to stretch out and spend time alone or with others. Great golf carts and master bedroom. Lots of amenities - beach towels, new washer dryer, band aids etc. Will stay again!

Beautiful and comfortable house with amazing views!

This is our new favorite place that we have rented on Bald Head Island, and we have been coming here for years. The house is spacious and comfortable. Watching birds and stars from the roof deck is spectacular! The house had everything we needed, and we hope to return in the future.

A Real Haven

Our family group had a fun and relaxing week in BelleHaven. We enjoyed the secluded setting on the marsh and loved watching the wildlife from all the decks and windows. It is a gem of a setting for nature lovers. Several beach accesses are close enough for a pleasant walk. The house was very comfortable for us and our dogs! The owners really made an effort for being dog friendly. We all loved it and want to visit again!

Amazing Marsh Views

We have been coming to Bald Head for years, but never stayed on the marsh. We decided this was the year and we could not have picked a better marsh location than Belle Haven. The views in this house are expansive. Looking out on the marsh was incredibly peaceful and ever changing throughout the day. The great room area is particularly nice, with plenty of seating for everyone to spread out. We brought our dogs with us and the house is well suited for pets. My husband is a bit of a laundry guy and he gave the laundry room two thumbs up. I give their property management team an A+ for prompt communications and we would book this house again without hesitation.

We are a family of four who enjoy being outdoors, enjoy the good life, the quiet life, and relish the opportunities for our kids to be independent like when we grew up. Dad loves golf and kitesurfing. Mom is a tennis nut. Kids do everything. We are a household of cellos, violins, and now an acoustic guitar for dad.

Why they chose this property

We loved this property when we first saw it. We were on spring break and we walked by this home. We could not help ourselves and started walking up the driveway. All we knew was the home was for sale due to the marker on the address post. The walk alone almost sold us as it's a good 700 feet walk through a forest of palms, live oak trees, spanish moss, etc. When we came to the house we were astonished at the peninsula shape and the views. We literally called a realtor that moment and once we saw the rest of the house and the views from the decks, it was just a matter of time before we made an offer. Long story short we got it done and we don't regret it. It's our quiet sanctuary on Bald Head Island. Many visitors don't consider the marsh side of the island until they visit. The marsh side has more interesting views that change daily if not hourly. Also the wind on the beach is drastically muted on our side of the island. It's so relaxing. so quiet. It is also close to everything. Just a hop skip and a jump to basically anything you want to see or do on BHI.

What makes this property unique

Our home is unique because of it's combination of proximity, views and privacy. Even island residents who have lived on Bald Head Island for years say "we did not even know it was there" when they meet us and visit. They are always astonished with the views and routinely say "this is the best view i've seen on the island". This is even those with beachfront property! so we are thrilled to have earned this from so many friends, island contractors, and visitors.
