Nice but disappointing

• Walked in to a mildew/piss odor • Sliding doors are rusted and hard to slide. Need to replace door screens • Bathroom liner pink so housekeeping replaced it • Balcony was disgusting...table top all chipping (dangerous with a toddler) • Air return on wall is all rusty...housekeeping cleaned somewhat • Pool is closed/out of service...not notified in advance...ver disappointed. • Bathrooms don't have trash cans...housekeeping brought some. • Light fixtures are broken • Needs repainting Suggestions: • Get food disposal in sink • Put handles on cabinets & fridge • Take stickers off bunk bed ladder • Create more counter space/shelving for stuff in bathrooms • Replace front matt that's all faded • Put a door to block noise from washer & dryer • Need baking sheets in the kitchen! • Put fans in bedrooms!!

Good, but can be better.

The property is located in a very convenient part of oak island with a beautiful and peaceful Caswell Beach. The property itself is lacking in many things. It is decorated and appealing. The appliances were new and things in the kitchen were good. There should be hand and dish soap available to guest. People should not have to bring that. Additionally, the bathroom in the main area has a faulty lock. My children. Almost got locked in a number of times. It gets jammed and needs to be fixed. Additionally, the table on the porch outside has a blanket over it because it is peeling and needs to be replaced. The master bedroom has a fan that does not work, or needs new batteries in the remote. You cannot use it. Also, being a beach location, a mat at the entrance and a vacuum for guests to use would be nice too. The property is lovely, and with these repairs could be amazing. Couch and furniture are comfortable. One pillow and one pillowcase per person is also a bit stingy.
