Large Kitchen and Dining Room to enjoy delicious meals. Lots of Outdoor Decking, Yard and Camp Fire Pit beside the Lake. Brand New Heating & Central Air Systems. Laundry available. Bring your own Kayaks and Fishing poles ( Pa Fishing License Required ). No Swimming allowed in Lake. We are One Mile to Liberty Mt Ski Resort & Golf Resort and you can see the slopes from the property. Local Restaurants less then a mile. We are 10 Miles to Historical Gettysburg Pa. Also Local Wineries, Catoctin Mt Park and Caledonia State Park only a few miles away.

Family Reunion

3 cousins and their spouses met here for a week-long reunion. The property was fantastic! Cleanest VRBO I've ever rented. Beautiful new furniture and decor, not the usual second-hand stuff! Lovely extras such as handsoap and toilet paper. Seating areas in many bedrooms such a nice touch. Incredible view right on the lake - we enjoyed bird and duck watching and fishing. Great firepit. Short drive to Gettysburg attractions. Close-by DG Market for grocery needs. Attentive Host. Highly recommend this property.

Family weekend

Beautiful home in a great location to explore the Gettysburg area. The kitchen was well equipped and we had lots of room to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. A wonderful property!

Fabulous house

Our family gathered for several days after Christmas. The house is beautifully decorated and the huge kitchen was great for multiple people working together. The kitchen was fully stocked including spices. It was close to Gettysburg Battlefield which we visited. I would recommend this house for a large group as there were 2 laundry areas and bedrooms were very large and accommodating. We spent time watching the ducks and geese on the lake and enjoyed Christmas lights across the lake every evening.

Perfect location and plenty of space

This house was great for our large family of two adults and 5 kids ranging from 21 to 3. The lake is pretty with lots of geese and ducks and location was about 5 min drive to Liberty Mountain. House was clean and nicely decorated

Wonderful Family Christmas Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this home for our family Christmas vacation! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was beautifully decorated and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect setting for our Christmas.The kitchen has everything needed to prepare our holiday meals, and we especially loved the large dining area where we could all gather together. The living room was comfortable and we spent hours playing games, watching Christmas movies, and making memories.The property has stunning views of the surrounding area and we especially liked watching the birds on the water. Overall, this was a perfect place for our family to celebrate the holiday. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to create lasting memories with loved ones.

The Lovely Lake House

Fantastic stay at Liberty Mountain!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home at Liberty mountain! Our son was married in Taney Town and we needed a home close to both Gettysburg and Taney Town ! We found this absolute gem! It was spacious, spotless and had a great view! The beds were comfortable! The kitchen fully stocked and a driveway large enough for 4 cars! The check in was seamless and communication was easy, I could not recommend this property enough! It also has two living spaces ! One downstairs and one upstairs! It was the perfect layout for our group! It has a fire pit outside that was fun to sit by in the evening!!

Golf Getaway 2024

Great golfing trip to the Gettysburg area. Our Lake House was a great location and provided everything we needed for our stay. The house was spacious and well equipped for 8 golfers. We even caught a Bass out of the backyard area. Our host Trish was very helpful, prompt and communicated with us to ensure we had everything we would need. Group is already talking about a return trip next year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Gettysburg area trip.

Family Getaway

My family and I were in a much needed break from the NYC hustle and bustle. I saw this beautiful property and made the reservation. Upon arrival, none of us imagined that this property would far exceed our expectations. From the moment you walk in, you are presented with a beautiful, bright, meticulous, spacious and Lakehouse theme based decorated home. The owner clearly paid very close attention to detail and every bedroom and space in the house reflected a personal touch. The amazing view of the lake was majestic. The home was fully equipped with everything a guest would need from appliances to towels and bedding. We did not wish to leave ! Thank you for making it clear to us why you are a premiere host. We will be sure to visit again!

Lovely Lake House

Our family stayed at Lake House for a weekend and everyone enjoyed the spacious, comfortabke house with views of a pretty lake. Each bedroom was nicely furnished and comfortable beds. We were surprised that we had to strip the beds, run the dishwasher, clean out the sink and take out the garbage. We thought the cleanup of the house was done by a hired cleaning crew.

Great Stay!

Great property with plenty of space to spread out. Nice fire pit and outdoor space too! Listing provides a very accurate description. Close to Gettysburg and the ski slopes.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as listed and is even better in person. We loved the lake and the fire pit. The number and size of bedrooms and comfy beds, were really great for our party. Close to all of the nearby attractions but in a very peaceful neighborhood. We will look for this location when we are in the area again!
