This beautiful home is located just 10 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone. It is nestled in the quiet neighborhood of "Lazy Acres" amongst the quaking aspen trees. In the summer, you can use the adjacent Forest Service trails for hiking. In the winter months, you can ride your snowmobiles right from the house. There is plenty of space in the driveway for parking snowmobile and boat trailers. Garage access is available for guests and can be heated for an additional charge, please inquire with us for rates. There is plenty of space to accommodate up to 12 people. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking all of your meals and dining together, and there is a full size washer and dryer available for your use.
The garage is available for guest use. It is not normally heated, but can be for an additional charge.
If you have a large group, you can also book the adjacent Alpine Star Lodge that accommodates 10 guests!
*Although 4 wheel drive is not required to get to the house, we definitely recommend it for our area from November - April, as road conditions are often "snowpacked and icy".

Clean, cozy yet spacious cabin. Perfect for our party of 6 adults and 4 children. Well stocked kitchen and quality bath and bed furnishings and products. A bonus was the back covered porch with 2 picnic tables. We loved our stay here. We saw’s moose and baby moose from the front porch.
Perfect Spot to stay for our daughter's West Yellowstone Wedding!
This place is so cozy and well-appointed! The host even put tables in the garage for me to arrange the flowers the night before our daughter's wedding. Loved all the accommodations - the beds were comfy, the kitchen was loaded with everything we needed, the back porch was a delightful spot to sit and play games and relax. And... Three Bathrooms!!! We loved our stay - everyone kept saying, "We should come back here!" I think we will!
We stayed with extended family and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Less than 10 mins to the West Entrance and downtown area. Highly recommend renting a boat or swimming at Hebgen Lake
This house was a great fit for extended family with 9. The locations is just a few miles outside of West Yellowstone and the west park entrance. The town had everything we needed as we entered and left the park each day. The house had a well equipped kitchen that also opened up to a nice gathering space. The bedrooms upstairs offered privacy for everyone as well.
Blue Spruce was perfect for our family of 9 and would have easily accommodated more. With plenty of comfy beds and 3 full baths, we were very comforted. The house was well furnished with anything you might need, from games to a fully loaded kitchen to Directv so we didn’t miss our favorite teams play. We loved our time there.
Perfect location very close to the West Yellowstone entrance. Our group was of 8 adults and we never felt crowded. The place was stocked far better than we expected and we have all started to try and coordinate our vacation time to book again together next year.
This has a great location and there is plenty of room for everyone. This house has everything to offer and very well stocked. We enjoyed sitting around the dining room table every night eating dinner and visiting.
Would definitely recommend!
Property was easy to find. Easy to get into and accommodated 10 of us traveling together. Great amenities provided like washing detergent and enough plates and silverware for our large group.
My family had a wonderful stay at the blue spruce. Very comfortable , clean and had everything you needed. Great location to Yellowstone. Would definitely recommend to others.
Drive onto back road to reach property. House is a bit older than in pics, but inside was perfectly charming, clean and very well equipped. Great back porch for hanging out, numerous beds and baths to accomodate our family of 10, we loved it.
We loved our stay - everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking dinners each night. It’s a short drive into west Yellowstone and we loved going into the park each day and coming back to relax!
My family of 5 swam with extra room in this clean, comfortable and quiet home. The kitchen is over-the-top stocked, the bathrooms weren't spacious, but accommodated all we needed. It was a very easy 10 min ride to West Yellowstone and a good base to explore nearby Island Park / Big Spring in Idaho. I loved sitting in the front porch swing and listening to the wind in the pines in the evenings. The check in was easy Note the Wifi is not the best - I wouldn't recommend "working remotely" from here....just vacation! :)
We have found our new place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. This place is well stocked and feels like home. Big enough for a couple families to stay. Back porch is great with two big picnic tables and multiple other chairs to enjoy meals in the fresh outdoors. Lots of board games and DVDs to keep the kids busy at night. We loved our stay here.
We were a group of 10 adults, 8 of us seniors and we spent 3 nights while attending the West Yellowstone Rod Run. Parking at the property was more than ample. The living area accommodated all of us satisfactorily, the beds were comfortable and with the exception of one ceiling light, everything worked. We enjoyed the property and would stay again.
Our family had an incredible time at this cabin. It was clean and amazingly stocked every cooking thing you would need tons of towels games movies it was just perfect for our family!
I was looking for a place where all of my kids and grandkids could stay and the Alpine Star and Blue Spruce back-to-back cabins were perfect. It was great having a shared backyard with a fire pit and picnic tables where we could do tin foil dinners, s'mores, and just hang out. The cabins were nice and roomy. Our only complaint would be that the third floor of the Blue Spruce cabin was really hot and it was hard to cool down. Not sure what could be done about that. The location was perfect for going to Yellowstone NP and Lake Hebgen as well as the river at Mack's Inn (we did all of those). It's also next door to a nightly rodeo, if you're into that kind of thing. We would rent here again.
The house, rooms and porch were great. The photos made the place look bigger than it actually was, but it was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had more than just the essentials so cooking was easy and the grill on the back porch was nice. It was a good location and convenient for the West entrance of Yellowstone which we drove to for 3 mornings in a row. It is also close to the Grizzly and Wolf encounter in West Yellowstone and we recommend that as well.
A great property, tastefully updated with all you need. Kitchen generously supplied, lots of towels, great porch swing to observe the foxes and enjoy a drink. Short drive into West Yellowstone. Clean and very pleasant. Perfect for our 4 adult and tween/teens. 3 bathrooms helpful for large groups, great BBQ on back deck, loads of games and books for fun.
Amazing property and beautiful location with convenient access to Yellowstone!
A wonderful cabin close to Yellowstone. The home is well stocked with everything you could possibly need from towels, linens, kitchen essentials and so much more!
Our group of 6 adults had plenty of space to relax and spread out after long days exploring the park. We really enjoyed evenings on the large porch!
The owners are extremely responsive, accommodating, helpful and provided great recommendations for dining in town! A GREAT place to stay!
