This grand wood cabin sits on 3 acres and overlooks a private lake in the heart of Apple Country in Ellijay, GA.

The cabin is lovingly maintained, newly renovated and features exciting activities for children and adults alike, a cozy fireplace, a game room and more!

Parking on-site is suitable for 2-3 vehicles. SUV or like vehicle recommend.

Enjoy the deck spaces and listen to the sounds of the forest and running streams into the lake.

Please note, this is a cabin in a rural area. With this country cabin comes local specialities; expect delayed services, gravel roads throughout the town, occasional power outages, occasional wildlife in the area, downed trees ... Rest assured that the Owners and Hosts are experienced professionals and will do their best to get you fixed up as soon as possible. Lake water levels vary seasonally, can reach up to 25FT deep. Amazing mountain getaway

I can’t say enough good things about this property! If I could attach the reel I made I would! It was amazing! The owner was great with communciton and the check in process was perfect and the place was immaculate! We wish our stay was longer but would definitely book this property again!

Relaxing getaway

Just what we needed- remote cabin in the mountains to unwind and get off the grid a couple days. Very clean nice place with no neighbors, close to Elijay and some beautiful hikes. Host is very communicative and easy to work with. Thanks for the awesome stay and we would return.

Location

Location was "The Tops" for sightseeing, hiking, wineries and orchards. A little difficult to find, but short distance back to highway. Would stay here again.

perfect size and location

The cabin was just the right size for my friends and I. The location was surrounded by trees which were beautiful this time of year. It also helped to make the cabin so quiet and private. We brought our small dog which is a Llasa Apso and he loved it. He loved running around the trees and leaves.

Great Cabin in the woods

The Cabin is deep in the woods & cannot see the neighbors, It is very quiet & the views are fantastic. The leaves on the trees where just starting to change. The inside was very Neat & clean, everything that you need is there. If you like Hot showers, this is the place for you. Game room is a nice added feature. It does get cool there this time of the year so bring warm clothes, There is a fireplace & space heaters if you need them. We had a Deer come visit us while we were having breakfast, Came right up to the rear window looking in, Till my dog spotted it & then it ran away. The 2 swing chairs in the loft are great for reading or just enjoying the wonderfull view. I loved the road to the cabin, Dirt & gravel. I enjoyed riding up it. If your looking for a secluded place to get away, this is it. I'm planning on booking it again next year.

Great fall break getaway

The house was perfect for me and my family (my father, myself and am two children 6.5 and 1) we ate breakfast and supper in the house everyday. The kids enjoyed the toys and tv of course. The house if conveniently located near several Apple orchards (we went to B J Reece), Burt’s Pumpkin farm, Amicalola Falls and Ellijay, where we ate lunch everyday. I will repeat what someone else said about the roads leading to the house. You will not likely make it in anything smaller than an SUV.

Just what I needed!!

My daughter and I had a girls night away here at Orchard Loop and it was just what we needed. We stayed in and prepared all our own meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed. My daughter really enjoyed the hammocks in the loft and the arcade games. The Lockes were very prompt and helpful anytime i reached out. We will be back!!

Overall, it was a nice visit! Cabin was clean and orderly. Plenty of room. The Nest thermostat is simple to Use after a 30 second YouTube video.

Peaceful place, perfect stay

This is a beautiful property in the mountains with all the amenities and plenty of games to enjoy for family times. My girls loved the hammock swings with the view of the trees and pond. The property manager was awesome and helped us out immediately when needed. Check in and check out was simple and easy just like we needed! Loved the lock on the main door and all of the light in the house. We really enjoyed our stay (even in the rain) and would return again!

Secluded, cozy stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, cozy, was in a great location to the Cidery and orchards and such, the beds were very comfy, and the owner corresponding quite quickly to any questions I had. Our kids loved the two swings upstairs, too. On the other hand, the dirt road leading to the cabin was very rough in some areas. I'm very glad we were in our Jeep. I think a sedan might have a hard time not bottoming out. Also, be sure to bring your own soaps and shampoos.

Best rental for the money

Very nice place, and very clean. We woke up the next morning and wile I was drinking coffee, five deer were at the back porch grazing the hills.

Quick Family Trip

There were some things that could’ve been better, but I feel like the hosts went out of their way to remedy the issues we had during our stay. There are several sets of doors in the great room and after checking in, we realized one set of doors was actually left unlocked. This made me feel very uneasy, but I tried not to let it bother me too much. Overall we had a great trip and got to do many things with our daughter like visit amicalola falls, ride the blue ridge scenic railway, visit our fav crystal shop in Copperhill TN, and spend time together making s’mores and sitting by the fire pit. Half our party couldn’t make it, and we enjoyed having the space to ourselves.

quite secluded cabin in the hills

Great, clean cabin for spending quite time with the family and dog. Road access was a bit rough but worth the privacy and peacefulness. The host was readily available to answer any questions and issues. Interior is as expected and advertised. Enjoyed short trip to the winery and brewery as well as Amicolola Falls State Park. Plan to revisit.

Very nice, but…

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. There are, however, some “quirks” about this property. The drive up would be very difficult without an SUV. Don’t try it in your Honda Civic. The Yale access lock was great. The heating system (in November) was a bit amiss. The heat was set at 60 upon arrival and it took several hours to warm up. The master bedroom was very hot while the rest of the house was chilly at night. Between both bathrooms, there was one washcloth. There are no towel racks to hang your towels on after showering, only hooks. Since the bathrooms are so cold, the towels really didn’t dry between showers. The kitchen was sparsely stocked and we ended up running the dishwasher twice a day to have enough plates and bowls. If you plan on cooking meals, bring your own cooking equipment… not enough cookware there to cook an entire meal. The lighting is poor. No lamps, only overhead can lights. BUT, the place was VERY clean, which is important and communication with the host was quick and helpful.
