Property description is certainly accurate, but doesn't do it justice once we experienced it in person. The layout worked very well for us, with a comfortable, accommodating common area, with the bedrooms separated from each other for maximum privacy. The kitchen was well appointed and generously stocked with items such as coffee and spices.
There are not expansive vistas from the property, but the outdoor areas are very nice and peaceful. Enjoyed morning coffee while listening to the birds on the patio.
The common areas-clubhouse, pool, tennis/pickleball- were great. The clubhouse had a small library and game selection from which we borrowed. Also, a pleasant tv, table tennis, billiards room. The pool temp was perfect, and while the tennis/pickleball court didn't seem to get a lot of use, Susan was able to reserve some times for us, which made scheduling our days much easier. Along that line, communication with the hosts was exemplary: quick responses to all questions/requests (which we hope weren't too many!)
With regard to location, we enjoy hiking, and this property is about a mile from a Sabino canyon recreation area trailhead. Beautiful hikes!
Obviously, we enjoyed our stay immensely, and look forward to returning.
