Great stay overall

This was a great stay overall. There was a minor issue with the hot tub but the owners came out and fixed it that night.I also got a message from the owner saying there was a chargeback filed that wasn’t and that she was going to file a lawsuit against me after we left if I continued with my “so called chargeback” that never happened. So that has been concerning.

Great Getaway

This adorable house in the country was a great place for our group to stay! We were 3 couples and our kids coming to College Station for a game weekend. Everything was clean and well-prepared for our arrival. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you can need to cook a good meal. The beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. It is quite a way out of town, but not a bad drive at all. We had a great time and would gladly come back and stay again.

Perfect Getaway

We were in town for our son’s Ring Dunk and struck gold by finding this beautiful cabin on Broach. My son wanted just a few close friends over to celebrate. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. All the modern amenities make this rustic theme home the perfect place to relax and enjoy all the natural surroundings! Kasie is wonderful and pleasantly accommodating. I hope we can stay here again in the future.

Aggie Family Weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this quirky farmhouse. The home was clean, everything was nicely appointed and we had plenty of room for our family gathering. We cooked and had ample space and implements. The wood burning fireplace was awesome. The downstairs queen/king beds were ok, but our teens said loft room bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms were stocked with fresh white towels and bathroom essentials. Very charming. We were excited to have farm fresh eggs but unfortunately a prior renter left the coop door open and the chickens were no longer there. Overall, we enjoyed the weekend and being in the country. It was only 20-25 min to College Station which was not bad at all.

Cute Little Cottage

Overall the stay was great. The house was great but needs a few electrical updates. This house is ideal for families with small children. The home owner was great with communication and accommodations for our Ring Dunk celebration. I would recommend this location.

Great Little cabin

This is a charming little cabin that has so much potential! Yard needs to be mowed before guests come, provide more toilet paper and trash bags. It is not a 4 bedroom as listed but a 3 bedroom and a loft (no privacy). Overall though clean and we enjoyed our stay!!!

Awesome Experience

Communication with Kasie was amazing. She went out of her way to talk to us ahead of time about some extra-ordinary requests and was great to communicate with. The place is quirky, but you don't sacrifice quality for it. It's just quirky in an endearing sort of way - all the amenities are there and everything is clean and well-maintained. We loved being in the country... with the frogs and chickens. And the prize head above the mantle place it took us a while to identify :)

Great place to stay with family for TAMU graduation!

If you are looking to get out of town and relax privately with your family, this is the place. Sleeps 10 easy. Kasie was awesome with communication, and property was exactly as advertised. It's a little quirky, being a remodeled and updated farm property...low ceilings and funny placement of light switches and such, but I think that adds charm. The only issue that limits the sleeping capacity is the lofts. one double and 2 single beds require climbing ladders. This is stated clearly in the posting...so this is no surprise...but be aware. Those spots are great for kids and teens, but not so good for anyone but the smallest and most adventurous adults! Had a family group come into town for TAMU graduation for my daughter, and the place accommodated my family, cousins and 2 grandmothers with no problem. Highly recommend!

Charming, Relaxing Farmhouse with all of the amenities!

This house and property is 5 STAR. We have stayed at 100's of rentals through ABB and VRBRO, and this was the best experience we have had! If you have children, they would be in heaven! There are so many great amenities for kids! The children's bunk room even has a dress up/costume trunk! Location: If you are attending an event for Texas A&M, the drive is only 20 min, and it's all highway. Restaurants: There are several great restaurants in Downtown Bryan, only a 15 min drive. Grocery: There is a well stocked HEB 15 minutes from the house. WiFi - The internet speed can be a bit slow, but we were able to work during the day with the speed available (Stream, video calls, etc. Phone - We have AT&T, and we had at least two bars at all times. We never had issues with dropped calls, etc. The house: The house is VERY Clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all appliances and cookware. The beds are very comfortable! The bathtubs are perfect for a long soak! We watched the sunset every night in the back pasture, and we relaxed on the swings and hammocks during the day. Both are must do's during your stay. Roam the property find tons of wildflowers growing! The owners have free range chicken on the farm, and we ate fresh eggs every morning! What a perk! If you are looking for a place to stay in College Station, or looking for a relaxing weekend close to Hill Country, this is the place to stay! Kasie is a great host! We had an issue with a kitchen appliance, and she replaced in within a few hours. She is very attentive and takes pride in the farmhouse. It is decorated with antiques and Texas history!

FAMILY REUNION

At the last minute because of a family emergency I was unable to go so I called the owner and let her know our cousins were still going. She was very accommodating so I felt tremendously relieved. My cousins sent me a picture saying I had picked a terrific property. Needless to say we plan to go back next year and hopefully for a longer stay.

Howdy I'm Kasie
Being born and raised in Bryan College Station I've grown a true appreciation for what it means to be a Texan and an Aggie. Once me and my husband got married, we decided to plant our roots and bought a house only a mile away from where I grew up. I had actually grown up going to this house because the owner was a family friend and when the house came on the market I knew I had to have it! I had always loved the charm of the property and I knew I wanted to raise my children in the country too. Now I've decided to open up my home and share its beauty with others to enjoy as well.

Why they chose this property

Why this property:
Built in 1900 this location is one of the oldest homes in the area and offers a true glimpse at Texas history with its authentic western cabin feel, but with all the amenities of modern living. It's the perfect getaway for any family or friend group seeking privacy and relaxation. Enjoy all the fun of A&M and all that the Brazos valley has to offer and then come back to your getaway retreat for a little R&R.

What makes this property unique

With this cabin cozily tucked away into the countryside it has an environment of privacy, serenity, and rest to get away from the world and to be alone with your family and friends without distractions. No loud neighbors, no sounds of traffic, just you and your loved ones enjoying one another's company in the peace and quiet of nature.
