Beautiful. A few small oddities, like the water either being hot or having pressure, but not both. BUT, the price compared to others in the area is great and more than excuses such silly little things. The included basic breakfast supplies were a small but very welcome touch as well. I hope you like seals because you'll see them all the time!
We had a wonderful stay at Cabin 1 during a wet and windy few days. The property was exactly as advertised - cozy, clean with an amazing view of the water where our dog enjoyed watching seals and sea lions swim by. We enjoyed walking the many trails around Ucluelet and driving up to Tofino, then coming back to the cabin to dry off and rest and relax. All in all was a lovely tripIn a great spot. Would definitely return!
My husband and I stayed at Cabin 1 over a wet long weekend in February. The cabin was just as pictured, with a lovely ocean view and sea lions visible out front most days. The electric fireplace kept it warm inside, and breakfast items, music, and pamphlets on the local area were appreciated. We wished the water temperature in the shower was a little higher as it only got lukewarm and it was a chilly weekend. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, though!
We had such a nice time at this cabin. Really loved the tub on the deck and the view was great. Had everything you need and a very nice location. We would definitely stay again.
This spot is cozy and private! We stayed in cabin #1 The hot tub was awesome for 2 with wine and candles with the sea lions serenading in the distance☺️
Hosts are available and reply quickly to all questions asked. I we would come come again.
This is a great cabin on the water! Watching the boats go by and the sounds of the sea lions make it a perfect ambiance! Easy, friendly, clean and well equipped space. Perfect for one or two people. I can’t wait to go back! :)
This rental was mostly as described. Despite being in close proximity to the host house and another cabin, the rental is enclosed by trees and brush and feels very private. The cabin is indeed super cozy, relaxing, and beautiful. We didn’t interact with our hosts at all, but they were responsive on messaging.
The only part of the listing that seemed misleading is “breakfast included in price”. The hosts do provide a single bag of English muffins and coffee, but if you’re staying for more than a couple days, you’ll likely run out. Our hosts were not willing to provide more English muffins or breakfast materials after that initial batch ran out. It does seem to me that if you’re going to advertise a rental as breakfast included, breakfast should be included the whole time. That being said, this is a pretty small thing and we would happily stay here again and recommend this lovely place to others !
This is a fantastic little cabin for a quiet escape from the world. Marilyn met us upon arrival to welcome us and give us an overview of the cabin and the area. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The treats for the pups were very well received!
This was a great spot to have our dog - fenced-in patio, mostly private for a spot in town, a little beach right outside the cabin door.
I found it a bit challenging because they use mainstream cleaning products/food that I have a sensitivey to - eg. it smells like "Tide" laundry soap. Bring all your own food stuffs, soaps, etc if you are sensitive.
Great little cabin 👍 facing the inlet right in Ucluelet. Very quiet and well stocked. It was perfect for 1 person. Liked the personal deck to enjoy breakfast on and/or read at end of day. Easy to get to and Marilyn, the host was available when needed. I'll be back.

Honeymoon Disappointment
Very dirty floors, outdoor tub jets heavily soiled, sagging bed , towels that smelt of feet or french cheese.
Very very tiny space made very large with wide angle camera.
Very disappointing breakfast provisions 1 ltr no name OJ, butter, English muffins 2 days from expiration date. Tea coffee cream cuddled. Not 1 contact with host. Very hands off. Not even a friendly how are you doing or congratulations Did not contact her as we did not want a scene or upset on our honeymoon. Very disappointing cottage. We are very simple easy going couple. How they get 10/10 is flabbergasting. April review from another couple is absolutely correct. A gorgeous view is the cottages ONLY redeeming quality period. After 2 decades a complete renovation of this tired little cabin is needed.
Anchors Inn is cozy and welcoming with so many thoughtful touches added. It has everything you need in a small space. Sitting on the deck looking over the inlet you will be greeted by sea lions, ospreys, bald eagles and a couple of crows. A little path takes you to the water (note there is no beach to walk along). Quiet and relaxing with a nice jacuzzi tub on the deck. No view from the tub in Cabin 1 but there is in Cabin 2. They even had a decent sized beer glass LOL. If like me you can't sleep in the light, bring a sleep mask. You are close to everything including the Lighthouse trail and the wonderful catch and release Ucluelet Aquarium. A close drive to Tofino (about 30 minutes) and Pacific Rim National Park. Lots of opportunities for long walks on the beach and stunning ocean vistas.
