Beautiful views
We stayed over July 4th. Beautiful scenery and close to local activities. The upstairs bedroom with external acces was different, but it worked. Our problem had to do with soft, worn out couches and beds. They just need to be replaced

Worth every penny
The unit was awesome! Very close to the slopes/general store and not too far from the bunny hill. I will admit it was a little difficult to find when we arrived but it was nice and cozy. Unit was clean and not too bad, it is disappointing to know it’s a split level, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying it overall. The kitchen was good, but I will admit that the kitchen didn’t have many cooking pans and some of the utensils (clearly not used) were a bit greasy from using the stove. Beds were a bit uncomfy but overall, not too bad. We only were there for 2 nights and didn’t really find any issue. The reason for the higher rating is the staff was very communicative and patient when we left a dog collar (sentimental). The local staff member, Abbee Davis, was amazing! She texted me and called me to discuss my item and was reliable on her timeline.

Look for another property not managed by vacasa
the place was not clean both bathrooms were dirty human hair bandages stuck to the shower wall, cigarette packages and butts, human hair on the couches dirty dishes placed back in the cabinets, no pot holder, two dish towels, refrigerator does not work properly, and property manager gave wrong door code thst delayed our entry for 1 1/2 while waiting on them to respond... They gave us 86.00 back for this mistake and promised to refund the cleaning fee but reneged on this promise. this is the second year we have stayed at this property for thanksgiving and see how it's deteriorating look for another property in Brianhead

Terrible Experience
I am not sure where to start. I found this unit on VRBO where it was listed as bi-level condo and saw that it was a little less expensive if you booked directly through Vacasa. Unfortunately, Vacasa listed the unit as 2 separate areas but I never read the Vacasa description. After my wife read it, she demanded that I cancel but Vacasa would not issue a refund. PLEASE NOTE, THIS UNIT HAS BEEN SPLIT INTO 2 SEPARATE UNITS AND ARE NOT CONNECTED. When we arrived for our trip, we found that the downstairs unit and bedroom had been cleaned. However, the upstairs unit with 5 beds was not clean. The beds were not made, the sheets were not changed and there were wet towels and cups in the bathroom. We booked this unit for 6 people and only had 1 clean King size bed. We arrived on a Monday and by the following Saturday, the upstairs never got cleaned despite many requests. The only response from Vacasa was that they would contact the local Vacasa Host. Vacasa waived the cleaning fee and offered us to stay in St. George which is 1.5 hours away from our vacation destination, which was unacceptable. During our stay, the wood stove/fireplace did not work. Smoke came out the front door and from several areas of the vent pipe. The Vacasa maintenance person didn't know what was wrong and couldn't fix it. The TVs in the unit are set for streaming, which requires internet. Unfortunately, half way through our stay, the internet stopped working so we were unable to watch movies or tv. We tried resetting the modem and router but the internet did not work for more than a few minutes at a time. Overall, do not rent this unit and avoid renting through Vacasa. It was a terrible experience and it looks like we will need to go to Small Claims Court to get some of our money back.

Disliked: Communication
With approximately 24 hours notice, we were notified that Vacasa was canceling our reservation due to lack of staff. (Nevermind the several emails I had received confirming the booking in the days leading up to it and the fact that it had been nonrefundable for weeks now). They did offer a refund and sent an email explaining that they would reimburse "overage" on a new booking with any other company. The wording was a little confusing to me, so I called to verify what was being offered. I was told, by an actual person, that I would be reimbursed for my original booking AND an additional amount for anything extra I would have to pay for a last minute booking elsewhere. Needless to say, it doesn't look like they will honor that and I am out hundreds of dollars I never would have spent if things had been explained clearly in the email and also by the phone rep. I will never use Vacasa again. I don't really want to leave such a negative review, but I was really shocked by this whole ordeal and the very last minute cancelation. I really can't believe that even their phone reps don't understand their policies regarding relocations and refunds and that they will not honor what I was told by one of their own people.
