Terrible start and poor communication

Entry code wrong and short digits, help operator laughed. Text number needed to solve issue not on any email and embedded in lengthy voicemail. Email completely wrong as it was set up for winter stay, not summer, no access to lobby. No hot water, no assistance w same until 1130 PM. Had to turn it on ourselves in a separate space. Space set for winter, no summer modifications. No fans, no screen on 1 or 2 windows that actually opened and mosquitoes everywhere, no lighter bedding. Smoke alarm set directly over bathroom sliding, not sealed, door so went off for hot showers. No discount given for issues, or feedback to request for same. We willbe less likely to use Vrbo again if this is the quality of stay you support. Our last Vrbo was excellent and we heard from our hosts regularly. Never heard from host here at all. Only corporate communications which were useless. Also announced they had an early checkout different from one on site.

Springbreak ski weekend

Extremely new, clean, stylish. No dishwasher (we had 3 teenagers instead) Barndoor on bathroom needs a locking mechanism. Great location - walk across road to ski run and easy walk to village. Vacasa - long wait times on hold. the entry code was not included on the email as stated. took a few hours and several calls to get a reply. Prefer when communication is with owner directly - owners reply promptly.
