The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window.The property is full of natural vegetation including pinyon pine trees, juniper trees, yucca, and a variety of cactus.

Brilliant views and amenities

Wonderful 3 night stay while visiting a couple National Parks…on line images are accurate and amenities were even more than listed. Views were stunning!

Amazing home to stay, will book again!

Amazing house so many awesome things to make your stay comfortable. Full kitchen with accessories you need for cooking and grilling. The hot tub is amazing. The location is great easy to find. Great host and communication from them. Will definitely stay here again. The hot tub made it so worth it after a long day of hiking.

Great proximity to Capitol Reef NP & Grand Staircase Escalante.

This house offered us a comfortable place to relax and sleep after days filled with hiking in Capitol Reef NP and Grand Staircase Escalante. The home was clean and cozy, perfect for what we needed.

Perfect location

The cabin was ideal for us. It has a great kitchen, nice comfortable living area and ideal sleeping areas. The up stairs shower is to die for and the soaking tub in the downstairs bathroom is perfect after a long day of hiking.

Beautiful A frame

We loved staying in this beautiful A-frame house in the heart of Torrey. There are endless places to explore in this area. The home was comfortable and had everything that we needed to relax, cook, and just hang out. Views were spectacular.

Amazing and lovely A-frame home. Perfect for visits to Capitol Reef. Quick and easy access to Torrey, but it felt nicely separated from town - quiet and peaceful. Large windows with views of the mountains.

Views for miles

Pinyon House is lovely—clean, well equipped and very close to Capitol Reef for a great winter time stay. The views—both into the park and of the night sky—were fantastic. Would absolutely recommend a stay here or at the sister properties.

Heaven on Earth

Every detail of this location was considered. The bedding was comfortable, the decor was stunning, the flatware was weighty! I was also locked out of just room for a bit, and the owners responded immediately to help me get back in. And the location?!?! Divine. We hot-tubbed under meteor showers and rainbows. I will be coming back!

Excellent Stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Pinyon House in Torrey. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and it was so nice to return each evening and cook and relax and star gaze. The hot tub is fabulous. The houses on property are far enough apart but when star gazing it is hard when one of the neighbor's has all their lights on. Obviously the owner has no control over this. There are notes in the house clearly stating to turn lights off and it was not an issue on the deck, just when using the hot tub. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Sunrise, Sunset & Dark Sky Designation

We only had the opportunity to stay here 1 night while visiting Capital Reef NP. This home was by far our most favorite during our entire 2 week trip. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures, views are incredible, location is quiet yet close to Torrey. With the decks on the front and back of the home, you will enjoy sunrise and sunset with glorious views in the backdrop. Torrey earned Utah’s First International Dark Sky Community Designation. The evening sky was spectacular. It brought back memories of our childhood!

Absolutely beautiful!

We stayed in 4 VRBOs on our vacation and Pinyon House was by far everyone's favorite! The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was ideal. Two minor notes: 1. the master bedroom got very cold in the mornings while the air conditioning was trying to cool down the kitchen and front room, 2. Needed a few more baking pans/utensils. Not a great spatula to flip eggs, nor a pan to bake brownies. We used a muffin pan, which worked out OK. Overall, a beautiful, beautiful place that we would be lucky to stay in again! Loved it! Thank you for sharing your awesome house with us!
