Zoltan was incredibly communicative and helpful during the stay. The property was very well maintained and everything was labeled for ease of use. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing cabin stay.
Perfect location with a lovely, private back yard. The firepit was well stocked firewood. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely go back!
This was the best equipped home we have stayed in.
It's also located close to many NC and SC state parks.
Local restaurants are friendly, fun and serve good food.
Be sure to sit by the firepit in the early evening and listen to the birds sing...wonderful and peaceful. A quiet country setting.
The place was beautiful, the cabin was lovely, super clean, it had everything we needed and great communication with the owner. It’s definitely worth staying. The neighbors are very lovely people and we cannot wait to go back again!
Everything we needed for our stay ! Comfortable beds and well stocked linens and laundry. Everything labeled made it easy to find things . Very clean and neat. Will definitely stay again !!
Very nice place, about 25 minutes from Brevard which has some nice restaurants (Square Root and Quixote were great), and another 15 or 20 minutes to some nice hikes in Pigsah Forest. Great backyard with small fire pit. We saw a deer and a raccoon in the back when we arrived. The place was very clean, bed was comfortable, everything worked as advertised.

EVERYTHING about this property’s description is accurate. Zoltan the host was extremely accommodating and quick to respond! The scenery was breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice! Highly recommend for a couples get away, if i could rate higher I would!
Hoping to stay here again in the near future. A great place for two people. Very well stocked for our needs they have most everything. Although if you are planning to grill bring your grill utensils. It was very clean. We enjoyed the close proximity to Pretty Place Chapel.
We had a great stay. Clean, comfortable, and adequately stocked. We had chosen the location based on the proximity to Pretty Place Chapel. Unfortunately, Pretty Place was closed to the public almost our entire stay so lesson learned for other travelers to check ahead as it might not be open. The cabin was great and we were able to see plenty of other beautiful local sites. Thank you.
My boyfriend and I only got to spend a couple nights here but would have absolutely loved to stay longer (boo work and responsibilities 🙄). It is close to many great hiking trails, which is what we wanted. While it is fairly remote, meaning cell service was terrible for us, the cabin had great WiFi, and all of the amenities you would need. Beyond the practical elements the feeling of this cabin was perfect -- the warm lighting and colors everywhere, the secluded fire pit next to a gentle stream, the wooden floors, the cute lanterns in the dining room, the comfy furniture, it all felt like a good hug. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and get away from the chaos of life, stay here. It was perfect.
We rent often in the Brevard/Cedar Mountain area to hike the DuPont forest, play golf, and dine at the Cedar Mountain Café. We love this area, and if you’re a couple, or two people, this is the perfect location. It’s only a couple of miles off of the main road, and the cabin is quaint and well-kept. The cabin is well stocked, and the beautiful fire pit seating area (Stocked with seasoned wood), is a welcome addition after hiking all day. The cabin is cozy, and at the same time has all the amenities that one needs including the Internet and a flatscreen TV anytime. Lastly, when we were looking at this property, we had several questions and the owner got back to us within minutes, very responsive. We plan on renting this cabin again when we travel to this area as a couple.
The location was great for us…near the hiking we wanted to do and close to Pretty Place. It’s a cute little place! The only thing that could use improving is the musty smell.
This was the perfect place to stay to visit Pretty Place Chapel and all the other locations like Ceasers Head, bald Rock and several of the waterfalls and hiking trails in the area.
Very clean and everything you need is provided. Highly recommend.
Exceptionally clean and nothing was needed for our stay. Everything there for the campfires that we really enjoyed. Would be nice to be able to check in earlier than 4 o’clock. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
Great location for what we were wanting to do. Close to Pretty Place Chapel and DuPont forest. Very nice local cafes near by. Fire pit with creek flowing very nice to sit by.
We enjoyed our stay in the little cottage in Cedar Mountain. The backyard and fire pit are so peaceful and the neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed being in the middle of the DuPont forest and close to so many great hiking areas. Cedar Mountain itself is a quaint little place with a couple of really neat restaurants (as long as you get there before 8! 😊) The accommodations are simple, bed is comfortable, and all was clean. Great experience in the great outdoors!
