Great place to stay while we visited family in the area
The property was as described. Clean and comfortable and welcoming for us and our two labs (small fenced in back yard for them to go outside of leash). Even though it's right in "town" it was very quiet. The house comes well equipped and even had a hand mixer for making a birthday cake. We'll be back.

Served are needs
Four of us stayed here for a bass tournament and it served its purpose nicely. Had room for two boats and had a clean place to sleep and eat.

About the host
Hosted by Tom Weber
We live in WIsconsin and are die hard Packer fans and outdoors people. You will notice both in our furnishings in the house. We found Halfway in 1997 and fell in love with it right away. If you spend much time there, you will too. Just don't tell everyone about it so we can keep it small and the way it has been for years! The town has adopted us and include us as their own, even though we are only there part time. The hiking, horse back riding, mountain exploring, fishing and hunting are great, and snow shoeing and snow mobiling can't be beat either. If you like water recreation, there is plenty around so bring the boat, kayaks, skis and fishing gear. We may have some of those things available at times for rental if you are interested. The local folks are as friendly as can be and always willing to socialize with strangers. Local food options are good but hours are limited.
Why they chose this property
It is a house totally equipped with everyhting you need to live with comfortably everyday. Treat it like you would your own and please take care of it. The bedding is superb, the town is terrific and the people are great.
