Beach Getaway!!

We needed time to get away from home and this place was perfect!!- great view of the ocean and the creek- equipped kitchen- wide open spaces!The internet was slow and the dvd remote didn’t work but with wonderful company we barely noticed :)

Beautiful with Lovely View

What a beautiful home, close to Seabrook which is absolutely adorable. Watching the tide roll through the mouth of the river each morning was a highlight. House is very well appointed; we didn't need to buy any of the basics, which is not always the case. Would absolutely recommend this home for a coastal escape.

Amazing property and views

What a beautiful home. The views were amazing. Access to the beach difficult for those with disabilities, but only minutes to drive to direct ocean access. Loved to sit and watch high tide come in and fill the creek bed. The home was very clean and well stocked. Certainly would go back.

Wonderful view home right on the water

Extremely well stocked newer home well designed to take advantage of ocean view. Walk to the beach across the creek at low tide. Enjoy the views all day from the open front room. Great for a small group of friends or family.

Fantastic and conveniently located property

Well-appointed home with everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. Easy access to Pacific Beach and Seabrook. Great restaurants nearby and a couple of small grocery stores for those last minute items. Also, Ocean Shores is an easy drive away.

Wonderful location

This was a wonderful house in a great location with an amazing view. We loved having a low-key, relaxing place to stay at the end of our trip. The home was clean, cozy, with all the things we needed. A grocery store was just down the road. The beach was awesome! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect Stay

The home and location are wonderful. Lovely view of the creek and ocean, we enjoyed watching all the wildlife. The canoe was a huge hit with our teens. We enjoyed watching them from the well situated deck. The house and property are very well maintained with everything one could need. The remote to the tv was difficult to operate but we figured it out for the when we wanted to watch in the evenings, lots of streaming services. Overall it was a perfect stay with wonderful memories made. At low tide the beach was accessible.

Comfortable home with a stunning view

We were endlessly fascinated by the view behind this home, watching the many birds in the creek (as well as two deer early one morning) and the changing ocean beyond. The home is efficiently laid out with an open floor plan on the main level. The kitchen is super well stocked. The home is in a peaceful location yet close to markets and hikes. While there is road noise, this fades away over time. The owner was great to work with!

A very nice property. Watching the tide come in up Joes Creek located in front of the property was fascinating. You cannot walk to the beach from this location but it’s just a short ride North to the Park to gain access. The home is well stocked with cooking utensils and the open kitchen to the living and dining area made for an intimate experience for our three couples. We have a golden retriever who was welcome at this rental which was wonderful. I would rent this home again in a heartbeat.

Fabulos Beach Retreat

My husband I spent a long weekend at the beach house with two other couples in April. The setting is beautiful. There are views of the ocean from every room. The beach house itself is exceptionally well appointed and beautifully decorated. Everything from the kitchen appliances to the beds and linens were top of the line. Many, many extras to make your stay enjoyable – TVs, movies, music, games, books, etc.- to keep you busy when not out on the beach. This is a very private setting on a beautiful creek just a short walk from the ocean beach. We would definitely recommend this over some of the nearby rentals that are crowded into a community setting where there is no privacy at all. I found the owner to be delightful to work with when planning our trip.

Lovely house in a brilliant location

As a multi-family getaway (4 adults, 4 kids ages 3-9)), this was a great vacation rental. The home was the perfect size with each set of adults getting a queen size bed and the four kids pleasantly jumbled together in the third room. The views were perfect and beach access was a short 10 minute trek across a pebble creek. We didn't want for anything, and ended up making most of our meals in the well equipped kitchen instead of going out to the local establishments (the kitchen was great — we just didn't feel the need to go out). We left an iPod plugged into the stereo system most of the week and the built-in speakers pleasantly filled the downstairs with our tunes as we watched the fog fill the view and the tide play with the creek in behind the house. We'll definitely be back in the future and would recommend the house without reservation.

Great time, a bit disappointed

The house was great, views were awesome, very warm and inviting. Lots of stairs. Many beaches to visit via car. Let me just say and it needs to be said there really is no beach access and I say this from a fifty+ family with my 75 year old mother. The beach access consists of huge, huge rocks that make up extremely large steps that take you down to Joe Creek which you must cross to get to a walkable beach. We'll it's the crossing of Joe Creek that is the problem, unless you have on waders and don't mind slippery rocks. I actually almost made it across one day in my heavy duty rubber boots until I hit a deep spot and my boots filled up with water. So we resigned ourselves that we would take the car everyday for beach access. Now don't get me wrong, this is a fabulous house and the owner could not have been nicer. I just think it should say really, really difficult beach access an then you really have to work for it. This is probably a really great house for a young family with kids that can swim across the creek, but for older people. ....not so much and if you are a elderly or have knee problems........this is not the house for you!

Always a delightful escape

My friends and I have rented this property several times and always enjoy it. The owners are so nice and the home is roomy and clean. The beach, fire pit, and deck are all excellent places to take in the views. Inside the house the collections of DVDs, books, and puzzles will keep you entertained. Cooking in the kitchen is easy because they have everything you need (including some food staples like condiments, sugar for coffee, olive oil, etc...) The only thing that leaves a little to be desired are the beds. They aren't terrible but there's a big swing in the firmnesses. We kinda have to pick beds based on who can stand super firm and who likes extra squishy. Overall, we love the house and look forward to our next visit.

Great place in a gorgeous setting

A group of friends and I stayed here for a weekend away from jobs and kiddos, and it was just what we were looking for. The views are spectacular throughout the house and the place is cozy, clean, and highly functional. The host was also very communicative when we needed it, but also not overly involved. Overall, very highly recommended.

Beautiful view from ever window in the house. The owner was super helpful. The house is stocked really well with essentials. Great stay! The family of river otters we saw everyday was the cherry on top!!!!
