A nice place once I got in.

The property itself was lovely especially the kitchen. BUT check in was a nightmare. I was not able to enter the condo, so I called the office, was assured someone would come to let me in. Two and a half hours and five phone calls later no one had shown up and I was forced to go to a hotel, costing me $257. The next day someone showed up, and my instructions had been incomplete, not saying to push a button after entering the code, and turn a lock. It was a horrible experience.

Beautiful condo- but expect no peace

This condo was spacious, beautiful and comfortable. We loved the condo itself. However, the construction surrounding us was horrible. We were woken up at 8am on the dot each morning with jack hammers busting up floors and skill saws grinding through metal. I have videos of how horrible the noise was. You couldn’t speak to one another even a few feet away and could feel the vibrations in the floor and your body. We had to just pack up for the day and head to the beach. There was no morning coffee on the balcony- we had scaffolding and men coming up and down, No afternoon naps due to the noise that went on until 5 or later. Vacasa our booking fee back and told they could move us. There was nothing on the beach for the time we were there. It wasn’t practical for us to stay miles off the beach and pack up to drive every day. We didn’t have enough car space for all of that. The places they sent weren’t near as nice either. The representatives for Vacasa we spoke with were uncaring and unconcerned. I spoke with April who didn’t care. Period. What happened to customer service? We’ve planned this trip for months, paid a lot to stay here and it was quite miserable to not be able to be in the condo you rented with kids. This condo unit should not be rented while all this is going on. It’s not right. I will be contacting the better business bureau.

Beach Condo

Overall the beach condo was perfect, fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need, tons of toys for kids, and beach items as well. The description stated “may hear construction noise while your stay” what we heard everyday starting at 8AM until 3-4ish PM everyday wasn’t “some noise” it was heard from the beach, from the pool, & you couldn’t hear the person sitting right next to you. If you have kids, kiss your naps goodbye during the stay. If no construction was going on, this house would get all the stars but the false information saying “some” noise may be heard doesn’t sit well with me. Be honest and up front with your customers. The construction was non stop, every day, all day, very very loud, to the point where sometimes the furniture would shake. For spending almost $2k for 6 day stay, I would expect a honest upfront description of the type of construction. I reached out to Vacasa and they just apologized for the inconvenience.

Overall the condo is lovely. But the building is under heavy construction and is very noisy 8-3:30. There was even scaffolding outside.

Terrible rental experience.

Construction work on building was not disclosed when rented in January. Dishwasher broken and never repaired after reported. No window coverings whatsoever on eastern facing primary bedroom doors and windows. Unit needs to be inspected.

Sand Dollar unit 306

We really enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar. First the positives and then the "could be better." The unit was decorated so cute! The decor was relaxing and updated. Furniture was in great condition and comfy. The unit was very clean so shout out to housekeeping! It was also very well stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and appliances we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys in the unit so no need to bring your own. The view was excellent; felt like we were sitting right on the beach from our balcony. The beds were all very comfortable as well. The photos dont show how cute this unit really is.. This complex sits between the intercoastal and beach so there were wonderful views both front and back of the unit. The intercoastal sunsets were dreamy. It is a kid friendly unit with kid dishes, toys, and even a pack and play in the closet. The pool is nice and the whole complex is well cared for and clean. So overall, very comfy stay. Now, a few things could be better. First there were no blinds or curtains on the windows or large glass sliding door to the bedroom. The master has absolutely no privacy so I had to dress in the closet, and I was awakened at sunrise since that's where the sun rises as well. In the living room having coffee in the morning, you are blinded sitting anywhere as the sun shines right in. There are also no blinds in the front bedrooms so the storm covers were pulled down making those rooms pitch dark at all hours. May as well not have windows in there. Also, there were no tv's in the bedrooms so our kids who may have wanted to do their own thing at night had no TV of their own. We were all forced to watch baseball, so no girls' movie night in my room. Finally, I think I would have a few words with the contractor because the faucets were all loose and not properly secured and there was a light fixtures with dangling wires on the balcony with no light. The front windows were very dirty but there doesn't seem to be a good way without a scaffold to clean them. Finally, the screen was falling off and torn on the sliding door to the living room. Overall the things this unit lacked were minor compared to the positives. We would recommend the unit, but just want others to be aware of these things in case they would be deal breakers for you.

Beautifully Decorated!

This condo will not disappoint. It is beautifully decorated, every comfort is provided for, and it is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well-stocked, the communications were very easy, and the view is stunning. You will love it here!

Very peaceful and relaxing stay

This condo looked exactly as pictured….It was gorgeous! Loved the simplicity of the furnishings. They were comfortable and modern. And the new plank tile flooring was super nice. King bed in the master was so comfortable! And my sister loved the washer and dryer! It was really peaceful and quiet and the views were amazing!

The perfect getaway

There was nothing not to love about this condo, it was absolutely wonderful. Everything you would need for the perfect stay. Very tastefully decorated, spacious and super clean. The pictures do not do this unit justice. Nice size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and breath taking views of the ocean and beach right outside your unit. Easy access to the beach and a heated swimming pool. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for the perfect stay. We will definitely be back.

Escape at the Beach

This condo was absolutely perfect for our beach vacation! It was one of the cleanest, most well-stocked and tastefully decorated condos we have stayed in. The location was convenient for beach access and it had all of the amenities we could possibly need! This was a wonderful escape and we will most definitely book again!

Great condo and location

Overall really good. Minor bug issues in living area around light over table. No response from property manager. Bought bug killer and problems resolved by end of week for the most part.
