About this property

Casita Zorro | Fireplace, Patio, Near Activities

Zorro means “fox” in Spanish, and we guarantee you’ll be as cozy as a pair of foxes in their den when you stay at Casita Zorra, a lovely one-bedroom condo just minutes from one of America’s most distinctive cities. Experience firsthand Santa Fe’s amazing architecture, including the original Spanish Market Square, the 17th Century Palace of the Governors, the New Mexico Museum of Art, and the Loretto Chapel with its unusual spiral staircase winding up to the choir loft. From your conveniently located condo, you can also visit nearby pueblos and immerse yourself in the area’s rich Native American history and culture. And with an average of 320 sunny days each year, Santa Fe and its surroundings are a hub for skiers, mountain bikers, golfers, hikers, river rafters, and so much more!

Built in the traditional Pueblo Revival adobe style, Casita Zorro combines comfort with charm. A light, bright, and cozy multipurpose living area features wood floors, a traditional corner kiva fireplace, a large smart HDTV, a ceiling fan, comfortable furnishings and lots of natural light. Meet at the table for six in the dining area to enjoy a meal or drinks and chat over a game of cards.

Casita Zorro’s quaint kitchenette features all the necessities so you can prepare anything from a quick snack to a fancy dinner for two (or heat up leftovers after dining at one of the many culinary delights Santa Fe has to offer). Casita Zorro’s bedroom features a plush bed, plenty of storage space and an in-room TV. The roomy full bathroom includes a tiled shower/tub combo, a well-lit vanity and plenty of fresh towels, and the enclosed patio is furnished with a gas grill, cushioned chairs, and an umbrella table.

Nestled just a hop, skip and a jump from the heart of Santa Fe, close to some of New Mexico's best skiing, biking, hiking and rafting opportunities, Casita Zorro is the ideal spot from which to enjoy your romantic Southwestern vacation. Be sure to lock down your dates before someone else gets in ahead of you!

Family visit

Casita Zorro was the perfect house for us. Location-wise it was just around the corner from our Santa Fe family and a short walk to the Trainyards as well as the Plaza. The house is beautifully appointed and had multiple coffee makers and dishes.

Really Great Apartment

Stayed here w my young adult daughter and husband. Spacious enough for the three of us. Very clean with plenty of towels. Brought some quick start logs and loved the fireplace each night. Large TVs, large dining room table, fully equipped kitchen. There was a keuruig and a French press, but no “regular coffeemaker” ? All communication w host was clear, timely, and easy. Pull out couch served my daughter fine, king bed was very nice and comfortable. Would not hestitate to stay here again.

Great location.

Casita was located in a nice quiet neighborhood that is near almost all of Santa Fe's attractions. Staff was available to answer any questions. Parking was a little tight but, we all managed. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Casita

Overall nice place. There were a few ants as mentioned by other reviews. Parking can be a little tight for large vehicles. But that is pretty much the case with all of the Santa Fe properties that are closer to the plaza. Place was clean and check in was easy.

Wonderful casita.

Should consider a new firm mattress. Replace noisy old bedroom ceiling fan. Repair some window screens. The sprayer on the kitchen sink faucet is cracked and leaks. Otherwise it's perfect.

Relaxing and close to everything!

We were very pleased with the casita and its location. It was nicely appointed. Parking was tight (especially when the other occupant took up too much space), but manageable. There were plenty of towels and the bed was very comfy. Our only issue was...ants. They started as just a few in the living room but progressed into the bathroom. We then found a bunch around the toilet and I didn't take a shower on the day we checked out as they were now in the bathtub. We would stay here again once the ant problem gets addressed.

Very comfortable Santa Fe style Casita!

The location was great! Very close to the Plaza. This 1 bedroom home was cozy, with loads of Santa Fe charm and we loved the comfy king size bed with a TV when we were ready to relax after lots of sightseeing, shopping, hikes and amazing restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Very nice

Clean, quiet and very comfortable. Easy access to anywhere in Santa Fe. The only minus is very cramped space for parking. The 2 other casitas’ guests used the 3 parking spaces and we parked on the street. Cute and friendly neighborhood though, so no harm. I just wish the other guests would mind the one parking space rule.

Best Little Casita

This little casita was perfect in size, decor and location. We had a little issue the first day and the property management company took care of it immediately and were very accommodating to us. Having a king size bed was a wonderful treat. Also, even though I don't think it is advertised, the unit has a washer and dryer.

Great place within walking distance of most attractions, but with a significant flaw…

The place was well appointed and a charming unit in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of both downtown Santa Fe as well as the museums on the hill. It’s about a mile and a half to each of those areas and my husband and I enjoy walking. We both enjoyed staying here but there were two problems, one more serious in the other. The main problem is that it is infested with ants! They were in the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom. For the most part they were not there in overwhelming quantities but they were between the sheets in our beds and I would wake up in the morning feeling something crawling on me. I had trouble going back to sleep because of it. We stripped the bed and washed the sheets with hot water and put them back on but within two days the ants were back! So that is a problem. I did mention it to the property management company but told them I really didn’t want them to come out then as I didn’t see they could really solve the problem short of spraying insecticide all over the place which I didn’t want while we were there. The other problem is a more minor one which is that there was not a good reading light in the living room although the chairs were quite comfortable. We had to bring some headlamps and camping lanterns in to get a decent light to read by there. I think they could change a lightbulb in a floor lamp and for the most part solve the problem. I would stay there again if I knew that the ants were no longer a problem.!

Comfortable Home Away from Home

The Zorro Casita is the perfect home for extended stay. The furnishings are pleasant, the bed and bedding comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the heating was just right for cold winter nights. The location couldn’t be better for walking to art galleries, restaurants, coffee, and chocolate shops! Highly recommended.
