Enjoy beautiful sunrises in this luxurious, oceanfront condo, where you'll be treated to unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean from the fifth floor.

This complex is located right next door to the Ritz-Carlton of Amelia Island. As you enter the condo, you'll be greeted by an open living and dining area with views of the ocean, a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, and two sets of sliding glass doors that lead outside to the balcony - one set in the living area and one in the primary bedroom.

The primary bedroom features an open closet and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate tub. The guest bedrooms also have private bathrooms.

THINGS TO KNOW
Only Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rentals are allowed from June through mid-August.
The owners of this condo are members of the private Golf Club & Beach Club and graciously extend their access to their guests. Guests can enjoy the resort amenities which include:
•Private Pool - Non Heated note: no fitness club access
•Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts - MUST call the club to schedule court time
•Private Beach Area-5000 Summer Beach Blvd complimentary towels, chairs/umbrellas small fee. Food & Beverage concession. (Memorial Day - Labor Day)
•Access to the Ritz Carlton's beautiful oceanfront golf course: Must call to schedule tee time.

This rental is located on floor 5.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Lovely Condo

My husband and I enjoyed our trip to Amelia very much. 56 Ocean Place was very clean and comfortable. The condo had everything we needed and the furniture was quite comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. Highly recommend!

Cleanest beach rental ever

A+++ for my most important features - super clean, extremely comfortable beds, great living room seating, A/C worked well, the balcony was huge and had nice seating for a group, well stocked kitchen. The only thing to mention with a bigger group is there is no overflow parking and only 2 parking passes. There is no where to park extra cars for visitors etc. Be aware parking could be a major issue as there are no public car parks to leave cars.

Nice Condo

The location is great- right next to the Ritz, and a 3 minute walk via a connected walkway. It's about .5 Miles to a very good grocery store and small strip mall. You'll definitely want a car to stay here. The bulk of the good restaurants in the downtown area are a good 10-15 minutes away by car and delivery services are severely lacking in this area. The condo is right on the beach and offers outstanding views. There's plenty of room for 3-5 people. But the common space isn't huge, so I wouldn't try to fit 3 couples in there. It may be a bit tight. Being a corner unit, the balcony is huge with a table for four and two lounge chairs (no cushions.) The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, plates, cooking tools, pans, etc. However, there are no condiments, spices, or oils offered. This kitchen is good to reheat leftovers unless you want to buy every ingredient you need. There were about 6-8 rolls of toilet paper in total for the 3 bathrooms and 3 rolls of paper towels. The rest is on you. It suited us fine for a 5 day stay. Linens, pillows and towels were fine. There are two sets of towels per bathroom, but you have a great washer and dryer to use with several laundry pods per stay. One criticism is that the management company should arrange a few beach towels. I've never stayed in a rental that didn't offer them- especially at this price. Seriously, it's a $40 investment at most. There were 3 folding beach chairs that someone left in the laundry room, which was very convenient, as management says that none are available. (Again, this is a minor investment and something that's seriously needed for a beach condo.) Other than those minor things, which were all disclosed in advance, the condo was quite nice. The building itself needs some better upkeep, but the condo is in great shape. In late September, it was 2/3 empty so it's relatively quiet and there's a ton of space on the beach. Management company is very responsive via text. It's easy to check in and out without stopping anywhere for a key. They email you the door code and that's it. Very simple process. I would recommend it and would stay here again.

Perfect stay on the beach

It was our first time visiting Amelia Island and we really enjoyed our stay at 56 Ocean Place. The condo had everything we needed and we loved the proximity to the beach and the Ritz Carlton. We will definitely be back.

Condo was fantastic for our family weekend. It had a great layout as all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Great view. Kitchen had everything and an abundance of utensils, pots and pans. Best part is the easy access to the beach and pool. The condo was clean and we got to check in early. We are already planning our trip next year to 56. Thank you again Vacasa!!

Beach condo

I have stayed in this unit many times! All of the rooms are very nicely furnished, and the sofas and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances function well. It is obvious the owner cares about this unit!

Great pre holiday trip

Great experience start to finish. The condo is lovely and VERY well appointed with all you could ask for. So many pots and pans and dishes we could have prepared food for a small army (and served them). Had an interesting issue with the cable box that the rental company did their best to address quickly. And the only odd thing was that even though it’s a non-smoking condo the towels that were hung up in the bathroom all smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke. We were able to find some under cabinets that didn’t smell and washed the rest and that solved it. Minor issue and we solved it easily. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Second stay at this property—lovely

Second time staying in 56 Ocean Place! Very nicely appointed kitchen with an absolute abundance of outlets and charging stations. TV is great size and with excellent service. Views are spectacular! Bathrooms all newly appointed and “fresh”. Linens all very clean and fresh. Beds/ mattresses/pillows in excellent condition. Could use a few more towels in master. Needed to adjust ventilation for master to get good air circulation but after we did that it was great. Location is FANTASTIC with a pool right below the unit and the beach just a short walk down the boardwalk. Balcony is enormous and so open feeling! This unit is on a particularly nice stretch of Fernandina beach… parking is no problem. Can walk to Ritz Carlton for a variety of restaurant options. Customer service with Amelia Rentals is OUTSTANDING! Incredibly friendly and attentive to every request— they far exceed the norm in terms of customer service! Thank you!

Great Stay

Great location. Very clean unit. We have stayed at many beach rentals and this one by far has EVERYTHING! There were cleaning supplies, detergents (for dishwashing, dishwasher, and laundry), many hooks for drying wet items and a couple drying racks, charging ports in all the bedrooms, nice set of pots, pans, dishes, and silverware (all organized neatly), not a bunch of mismatched stuff thrown together. THANK YOU!

Lovely & Quiet Beach Escape

The condo was clean and the perfect layout for our vacation. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked out well for us and allowed everyone their own space. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean. The sound of the waves was lovely. The beach itself was perfect for walking and shell collecting, but the water during our trip was too cold and mostly choppy for swimming. There were also MANY jellyfish collected on the beach. We didn't really see anyone in the water during our stay; mostly sunbathing, walking and playing. The only thing we would have liked was a BBQ area/built-in grill and/or fire pit. Otherwise, perfect for us.

Fantastic, updated condo in a perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was remarkably well appointed with multiple electronic charging stations in every room, TVs in every room, plus a 50”+ TV in living room, strong wifi, brochures for local tours/ activities, abundant linens/ bedding, comfortable seating for 6 adults, and a nice arrangement of bed options. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked with everything you would need to cook for a family of 6+—pots, pans, appliances, serving ware, intensils, baking pans, carving knife set, etc. A generous starter supply of paper goods and soaps was provided. The kitchen is in excellent condition and fully updated, as are each of the 3 full baths. Unit was extremely clean with no evidence of prior guests. Corner balcony is spacious and provided a panoramic view of the ocean/ coast— quick and easy access to the pool and beach. Beach is pristine and wonderful for the kids, especially at low tide. So nice to be located right next to the Ritz restaurants/bar, too. Rental agency was readily available for questions and there were no difficulties at all with accessing the unit. Master bed is a bit too hard/ unyielding, like a tempurpedic. The common living space/ dining area is a bit tight for 6 adults but the deck and the size of the bedrooms compensates for this. Would be nice if beach gear could be stored in the unit’s storage closet instead of inside the condo to cut down on clutter. Overall one of the nicest all around condos and rental companies we have worked with on Amelia Island. I would stay at any Amelia Rental property in the future!
