Heidi clearly takes pride in taking care of all the little things that make a stay memorable. The pantry was well stocked, there were plenty of towels, pillows and linens.
The house is very peaceful, and has so many games and activities that even my teenager didn’t complain about the lack of WiFi.
Just returned from a wonderful visit to this beautiful cabin. The house is beautifully decorated and has some great amenities like a gigantic, jetted tub in the upstairs bath, and pool and ping pong tables in downstairs game room (which the teen and child in our group constantly played). We started every morning having coffee on deck, and saw deer every day that we were there. The cabin is a short drive to many local attractions, stores/shops and breweries. We all had a wonderful and relaxing stay! Thank you Heidi and Dustin.
Although we were slightly disappointed with the yard of the property when we pulled up, the house did not disappoint.
We had a great time and the proximity to Cacapon Park was perfect. We had plenty of room in the house so everyone had their own space and we really enjoyed the game room downstairs and the deck on the back of the house. We watched three fawns back there almost every night along with a flock of turkeys.
Our family dinners around the large diningroom table were always fun and full of laughter.
I contacted Heidi several times prior to our stay and she always responded very quickly and was very patient with my many questions. lol
I contacted her once during the stay regarding something outside of the house and she again, responded very quickly.
We highly recommend this cabin and Heidi as your host
Wow! Not sure where to begin. Heidi was amazing from the start which was weeks before our vacation. She got back to me within 30 minutes every time I sent her a message. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 (three adult children) and our dog. It was by far the best part of our vacation. The cabin was extremely clean and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Kitchen was stocked, pool table and ping pong were used every evening after dinner, firepit right off the deck was awesome, beds were very comfortable...but the thing that we loved best was the deck! We read 7 books among the 5 of us, drank our coffee (then cocktails), watched the deer and turkeys, and had wonderful family time retelling stories of when the kids were little--many laughs were had. There's not much to do in Berkeley Springs but that was ok with us as we make our own fun no matter where we are. I do recommend spending the day at Cacapon State Park, floating down the Cacapon river, visiting Berkeley Springs for a few hours (have dinner at Angus and Ale), Berkely Springs and Cacapon Mnt breweries, and of course take a trip up to both Prospect Peak and Cacapon Mnt. Overlook! The only thing you don't get at the cabin is a view of the mountains "but" we got our fair share of that during our daily outings. I would rent again from Heidi in a heartbeat! Thanks again Heidi:)
Creekview cabin was a lovely spot. The hosts made every effort to create a welcoming and comfortable space. From the pool table, to the fire pit, to the small touches that made our dog feel comfy - everyone enjoyed their stay immensely.
We had an excellent time at the property. There were a few minor hiccups during our stay (heating and cleanliness) but Heidi was very responsive. We visited during peak fall colors and spent the majority of our time hiking in the nearby state park and enjoying the views at the cabin. Highly recommend you book this cabin for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.
Gorgeous property, nice and open. About 7 min from Cacapon state park (swimming, boating, hiking), and about 20 min from downtown Berkeley springs. The jacuzzi/soaking tub is amazing. Heidi and Dustin were great hosts, we had a great time!! 10/10 would recommend
Very nice cabin with great back deck. Wooded setting was quite and peaceful. Sitting on deck watching the deer go by and the wind in the trees was perfect. Great hiking nearby.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this cabin the moment we stepped foot inside. The beautiful log interiors, wrap around deck with lovely mountain views, the sound of the creek flowing... it was the peaceful getaway we'd dreamed of.
What makes this property unique
Creekview Cabin is in the perfect spot: nestled on 4 acres of forest, 5 minutes from Cacapon State Park, and 15 minutes from Berkeley Springs. A quiet getaway yet close to activities. Enjoy coffee on the deck with the birds and deer (turkeys if you're lucky!), then take a lovely hike at the park and finish with dinner and a massage at the Cacapon lodge. We keep the fire pit stocked with wood year round for the perfect bonfire.
