I loved the house—its thoughtful layout offered real privacy between the two bedrooms, and there were great spaces to enjoy inside and out. Very charming Pacific Northwest feel, plush mattresses, equipped kitchen, clean and clean design.
We were in town to work at the Dungeness Crab Festival. This home was perfectly located. Close to everything, but in a quite neighborhood.

Decent Stay In A Rough Location
The pros: We were a very short drive to everything we wanted to visit in town (beach, shops, restaurants). Most things were even a short walk, which was great! The backyard was perfect for a fire and would’ve been nice even with a larger group than our family of three. The kitchen was also well-stocked with daily needs, and we didn’t need to buy any additional kitchenware. The couches were very comfy and the beds were nice.
The cons: The listing has Family Friendly listed which is a bit misleading as they had none of the items listed (kids’ dinnerware, toys, books, games). We messaged the host about it, and he was kind enough to offer to bring us children’s dinnerware, but really the main draw were the toys and games for kids. This led to us needing to go and buy books and toys at a local thrift store. Not a deal-breaking situation, but if the host is aware the family friendly tag is incorrect and cannot get it fixed, providing the items listed (even a few) would help with any future issues. If not, future guests please be advised this location isn’t entirely family friendly and you’ll want to bring plenty of toys and books. I think kids 13+ would do fine, but not younger.
The other big con (which the owner can’t do much about) is the park next door. Homeless folks camp there, and although they didn’t directly bother us, they did leave needles in the bushes outside—tying into the lack of family friendliness.
The house was in an excellent location for our needs. Some attention is needed for the lighting as some rooms were dim. A good vacuum wouldn’t hurt either but the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
Able to walk to restaurants and grocery store within 15 minutes or less. Funky but fine layout with great living room space, tv, and wi-fi. Outdoor space allowed dog roaming without worry of escape. Shower was a little cumbersome due to the shower curtains if anything negative. Would definitely stay again.

We were in town for a 50th wedding anniversary. This house was convienently located and a good size for our family of 4. There's a very nice patio I would have loved to spend time on, but with our family even, we didn't get a chance.
A couple negatives: there's many homeless people camping in the park next to the house and it's a quiet street. My husband was a little concerned about leaving the car over night. We had no problems, but something to consider. Also, overnight temps were in the low 30s and the house was frigid overnight. There is a pellet stove, but some small space heaters for the bedrooms would have been nice.
Overall, I would stay again, but maybe in the summer when it was warmer and when we'd have more opportunity to use the patio!
This property had a perfect blend of old world charm with modern comforts. Except for maybe the shower. We used the claw tub to bathe in (too tempting to miss) but the curtains were cumbersome when showering. The bed was very comfortable. Glad to be able to do laundry. We enjoyed it very much.
Great location for travels around the Olympic National Park
It was a perfect location to get to all the places we wanted to see in the Olympic national park. It had basically everything we needed for our stay. Very convenient location. The only bad part was the kitchen was small and it was hard to move around with two people in the kitchen. The mattress in the front bedroom needs to be replaced, it was very low in the middle. But you can’t beat its location!
Ad is pretty accurate as to location, cleanliness, and how the house looks. We enjoyed our stay and would consider this location again if we return to Port Angeles. The location is next to a park that had people camping in tents. I am not sure if this is people camping along the Pacific Coast Trail, or a transient homeless camp, as the tents were gone during the day but back again each night. The campers looked kind of sketch so I did not let the children go over there past afternoon. Other than that, which is beyond the owner's control, it wwas great.
We loved this house! Everyone had plenty of space to spread out, property was clean and well located for our points of interest. We arrived early and our host was kind enough to give us access so we could drop our luggage before heading to our first adventure in PA. We would definitely stay here again!
