This beautifully renovated cottage has a tranquil feel, with a very pleasing interior that features a newer kitchen, nice furnishings, and updated bathrooms that complete this “home away from home”. Space to gather at the eat-in kitchen counter, as well as the nicely appointed main living area. From the cozy sunroom or the deck, relax and enjoy the fantastic lagoon that showcases Kiawah’s most preserved natural elements.

Greenslake Cottages provide a larger floor plan than other 2 bedroom villas on the island. They are single story, so there are no units above or below them, and only a few steps to enter. Situated in a quiet, tucked away location in the West Beach Village, they are in close proximity to many of Kiawah’s most treasured sights and activities. Community pool is right on the path to the beach!

Immaculate, well appointed cottage with panoramic lagoon view

We loved the cleanliness of our cottage and the beautiful views of the lagoon. We visited in December and the weather was pleasant for walking and biking. We would rent this unit again.

We had a great stay and when we found the property not well cleaned, the property manager rectified the situation immediately, Susie was wonderful. Great location to beach, fun to watch the animal activity outside the windows over the lagoon!

Family vacation

We have vacationed in Kiawah for many years and this was our favorite property. Very clean upon arrival and excellent communication with property manager. We really enjoyed the roomy screened porch overlooking the lagoon.

The property is clean and nicely decorated. However, the location is noisy with the town recycling center (across the lagoon) open to town employees and residents 24/7.

Our favorite vacation spot

We had a lovely week at this very comfortable, well appointed cottage. Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked. Quiet neighborhood, lots of wildlife viewing on the lagoon. Susie is an excellent property manager - I'd stay at any property she manages.

Wonderful Cottage

The cottage was very spacious, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Enjoyed the porch and watching the wildlife in and around the lagoon. A very quiet and peaceful location. Susie was excellent with communication and helpful in making the vacation perfect.

Spring break!

We really enjoyed are time on kiawah! The location of the unit was great and even though there were other units nearby we felt secluded. It was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. We are already makin plans to return!

Perfect Kiawah get away!

Charming, spacious, clean, quiet cottage overlooking a lagoon and perfectly located for an easy walk or bike ride to the beach. Really appreciated the complimentary toiletries and kitchen starter pack. Highly recommend renting bikes to explore the island along the easy flat bike paths or the miles of beach. Ideally situated for a day trip to Charleston. Also don’t miss visiting the Angel Oak! Loved our stay, thank you to our hosts!

We loved our stay! Condo was clean and very nice. We had everything we needed for our stay. We drove to the beach daily instead of walking because we had a toddler with toys and a cooler. The walk is a little too long to carry everything. We would highly recommend this property and would stay again! Thank you!

Nice property....manager, Susie, easy to communicate with as needed. Two small recommendations..need second bed stand light in front bedroom and rail to front entrance on left as you approach has a nail sticking up and could use sanding. Overall nice property/

Great lagoon view!

Place was very clean with most amenities needed. Would suggest adding salt and pepper as spices in the cottage. Saw the spice rack and didn't think of getting salt and pepper when we were at the store. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Perfect!

What a great stay on Kiawah! The cottage was even better than the pictures in the listing! It was clean, comfortable and well-maintained! This was our first visit to Kiawah, after staying at nearby islands over the past several years. Needles to say, we will be back! Susie was a pleasure to work with and very helpful with all of our questions! Hope it's not too long before we get back!

Relaxing!

We had a very relaxed trip. Enjoyed the screened porch and the wildlife pond view. The cottage was well equipped. The beach was really nice but a little far walking with chairs and such. I would take a cart next time or drive and park at the county park. The management company was excellent to work with and very responsive and helpful.

Home Away From Home

This cottage was a perfect fit for my husband and I. It was very obvious that much time, thought and attention had been given to many details in this home that made this winter weary couple feel welcomed. We especially enjoyed riding bikes on the beach, seeing the Angel Acorn tree, spending a day in Beaufort, going to an oyster boil, and enjoying new dishes such as tomato basil she crab soup and shrimp and grits! Every and all questions were answered before our arrival as well as being given lots of information about the area. This is a great place to stay and we are so glad we did.

Amazing!

I rent homes often for vacations so I’m picky about where I stay. This villa exceeded all my expectations. It’s bigger than the pictures portray, better view from the back porch, has had a quality upgrade, and the air conditioner worked perfectly even in August! Susie was awesome!! We will be back. 😎👍

This was our second time renting from Susie and, as previously, the experience did not disappoint! The home was well decorated, clean and comfortable. We truly felt at home in this quiet cottage. Our family prefers to eat in for almost all of our meals while on island, and this was the best stocked kitchen of all the properties we have rented over the years (and that has been nearly a dozen). There were also plenty of fluffy white towels for our family. I would happily rent from Susie again if one of her properties is available for our next stay. She was a pleasure to work with!

Nice House in Kiawah

Nice house and host was very responsive. House next door was being worked on but the contractors didn’t make too much noise, especially early morning. Street is not very well lit if you want to walk at night. Beach is a little bit farther than advertised in the listing, about a 15 - 20 minute, walk depending on how fast you walk, and quicker by bike. Since it was early May, off season, we drove to the nearby condos and parked. (I wouldn’t recommend this regular season as you may get towed). Overall our week was nice and the house is spacious, (Good value for Kiawah Island)

Perfect for us

We found this cottage to be perfect for us. Nice master room and bath, second bedroom had twin beds for our daughters and the LR had a pull out for our son who came for a few days. The kitchen had everything we needed. We did most of our meals at the cottage. There was even a small food processor, measuring cups/spoons, and a pizza pan. My favorite part was the view from the back. The lagoon is a busy place for birds. I even saw an alligator swimming past one day. The walk/bike ride to the beach was short and pleasant. Be sure to walk/ride to the end of the island where the river flows into the ocean. Dolphins swim there at low tide. We went out to dinner at the Fat Hen on Johns island. Hard to get a reservation, but well worth it.

Great Cottage!

We had a great week--the beach on Kiawah is spectacular and seeing the dolphins at low tide was wonderful. We're not golfers, so we spent most of our days in Charleston--it was an easy drive.

In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also.
