About this property

Castor's Cottage is named after our rescue cat, Castor. It is our personal residence that we enjoy sharing with others. The address on the listing is incorrect. We will send you the correct address after booking. You will have the entire home to yourself during your stay. Our home is about 4000 sf, over three levels. There are four bedrooms and five beds. One bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed. We have great views. Guests get to enjoy a pool table, hot tub and fire pit.

Great Home- Great Views

This was the perfect spot for us to stay for graduation. Close enough to town without all the congestion. Overlooking the golf course and River, the home offered a very comfortable spot to relax and unwind. I'd definitely stay again!

Weekend getaway with family

We met family for the weekend to enjoy the race and a baseball game. This property was a nice house for two adult couples. Exactly as described on the listing - clean and comfortable. The turn off from the main road leaves a little to be desired... but that would be the only negative thing we could say.

Well Appointed and comfortable house

The house was perfect for our visit. Looks brand new inside. Very clean with three comfortable and attractive bedroom., including the upstairs master suite with a large king bed and a great attached bathroom. Beds were quite comfortable. Kitchen is modern and well stocked. The house is well located for traveling to Virginia Tech. Definitely would book here again for future visits to VT.

Daughter’s College Graduation

Castor’s Cottage was perfect for our family’s needs during our 4 day stay for our daughter’s college graduation. Extremely clean, felt like home & the host Jeff communicated well throughout. It was perfect!!

Perfect!

We wanted to explore the greater Blacksburg area. This property was absolutely ideal for what we had in mind. The location was perfect. The property was well maintained. Inside you had everything you needed. The interior was immaculate. The living room comfortably accommodated four adults. The instructions provided in the host book answered all of our questions. We loved the proximity to Blacksburg, Radford and Christiansburg...all located within 25 minutes. We did have a question while we were there, and the host answered very promptly. If we go back to the area, we would happily choose Castor's Cottage again.

Fall Break with our Hokie

We stayed at the cottage to spend the weekend with our Hokie while he was on Fall break. The location was great and the accommodations were good! It was centrally located for us to become familiar with the area. Suggestions/critiques: The welcome book stated there were snacks and waters for the visitors. There were none. We only got one hot shower in a row of three. There was no place to unpack without hanging everything. Maybe a luggage stand/rack in each room.

Beautiful, clean and well appointed.

I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The cottage is beautiful and was very clean. We only stayed 2 nights, but I would highly recommend Castor's Cottage to anyone who may need overnight accommodations in the area. Nestled right between Radford and VA Tech. I even have a business card to another parent from Pennsylvania who has twin girls starting at both Radford and VT in the fall. Will definitely stay again!!

Clean, Cozy and Convenient!

The cottage was very clean, peaceful and had a home feel to it. We stayed 9 nights and enjoyed every morning and evening on the porch with coffee. The location was very convenient for all the activities we had planned and family that lives in Christiansburg. We visited Tennessee, North Carolina, and West Virginia. We plan to stay again and take in the Blue Ridgeway Parkway. Most of all the beds were very comfortable and I slept like a baby! 5 stars from me!

Amazing property!!

Absolutely LOVED Castor’s Cotrahe! Immaculate, comfy and felt like home. We rented so my son and his dog could stay with us while recovering after having his wisdom teeth extracted. Host thought of EVERYTHING and was super responsive when I had a question before arrival. Looking forward to staying every time we are in town. I have two relatives that can’t climb stairs and we can’t wait to bring them along next trip as the cottage is perfect for them as well! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your special cottage. God bless!

Castor’s Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this awesome property. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch each morning. Super clean! The kitchen was perfectly stocked. Beds were comfy and furnishings were nice. We enjoyed all the Hokie decor. We would highly recommend. We stayed with our family of 5 adults and one toddler.

Fun and Function
