beautiful place within walking distance to water. the place is in a low traffic area in wooded beach side of town. close to airport ,amenities ,and trails.
Property was clean, quiet, and a convenient location. Access to beach was great! Quick trip to groceries, coffee, mendenhall, and downtown. Communication with property owner was quick and easy if we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again!
Clean and great location, we’d definitely stay again. Perfect if you plan to be on the go and do not need a television or dryer. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.
We we overall very happy with the accommodations. Tidy, clean, cute and welcoming. Good location for going up the road, the valley, or back to town. The lack of a clothes dryer would probably limit us from staying more than a couple days, but would definitely come back.
We were so impressed. It is organized, clean, and very user friendly! This is the perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of Juneau. The neighborhood is packed with beauty, and the water is just a short walk away! We loved the games at the cabin too:) We will be back!
We stayed here twice this summer- before we left for a 10 day rafting trip on the Tatshinshimi River and when we got back. We were lucky to be able to leave a couple backpacks here.
This cute cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful area by Auke Bay. We were able to walk to the beach. It was close to the airport. It was a nice base for exploring Juneau. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities we needed. There were also so many magazines and tourist info available. Laura was a very gracious host and was available for any questions and always prompt in responding.
In Juneau for fishing trip. The cabin was absolutely perfect just what I want when staying in AK. Very comfortable, very clean, lovely neighborhood with a short walk to the water. hosts are more than helpful. My husband experienced a health emergency and they were so kind & helpful. So grateful for them.
Very pleasant cottage & peaceful location. Very well stocked kitchen which helped with self catering. Spotlessly clean & we appreciated the games & books. You do need to have your own transport or hire the car as not close to any shops or restaurants. We enjoyed the beach and forest trails. Communication with host excellent. Laura answered all queries promptly.
My two kids and I had a wonderful stay at Huckleberry. It was perfect for us. I appreciated so much how well stocked the cottage was with paper supplies (I’ve stayed at places that only give you one roll of paper towels and toilet paper for a week’s stay). The only part I found a little odd was there was a washing machine but no dryer. But we didn’t do any wash so it was no biggie. I will definitely recommend this place to others and stay again if I travel with my family to Juneau. It beat a hotel by 1000%.
I rented this place for the sole purpose of having a kitchen to heat up food for our traveling hockey team. It was more than adequate and I found that in between food prep and transportation I was able to relax in a comfortable and peaceful little house. The kitchen was very well stocked as well! It was clean and bright and airy. It was a lovely quick trip. Parking was great as well. Would stay there again given the opportunity.
