4/10 Poor

Disappointed
There’s a difference between rustic and downright shabby. This fell short of expectations. With the location, and wonderful lakeside views and access, this place has the potential to be very special. However, much of the property and cabins have been neglected, and are in various states of disrepair. It’s minimally functional as far as having a roof over your head (for the moment). So, if all you need is a place to sleep between excursions then it may suffice, but if you’re looking for anything more than that I would look elsewhere.
Pros:
-Location: lakeside with dock access
-Views: unobstructed towards Sebago Lake Basin
Cons:
-Sagging floors, ceilings, and balcony
-Exposed and out of place electrical outlets likely not up to code
-Various poor amateur carpentry repairs
-Excessive spider, roach, and other insect infestations
-Poor customer service with requests (we asked for additional towels but they never came)
In addition, our WiFi was out the entire week. When we arrived there was a note that Spectrum would arrive between 3-4pm. No one from management came to oversee this, and when the tech came out he spent a significant time working on the property. He had to FaceTime his bosses to help assess the situation, meanwhile we were stuck on the property with him and could not leave. Even despite, they were not able to repair and no attempt was made by management or spectrum to correct the situation during our week long stay.
