Deer Crossing Lodge and Wedding Venue is a stunning and spacious newly remodeled cabin located near Downtown Helen. This 6-bedroom retreat features 3 full bathrooms upstairs, as well as 1 full bathroom and 2 half bathrooms downstairs, providing ample space for up to 26 guests. The layout of the cabin is thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and privacy for all.

We had 20 family members all together and we were all comfortable and happy with the location! There was ample space for everyone to relax and hang out and plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The outdoor area was perfect for all the kids to run around and play sports. All around wonderful experience

Amazing cabin

We had an amazing time here. The cabin was beautiful. The kids had so much fun running in the woods and we were only a few minutes from Helen and the beautiful hiking at Unicoi. Pretty close by to the castle and Ana Ruby falls as well. The cabin had everything we needed to feel at home, and cook there as well. We gathered at the tables foe breakfast and Thanksgiving. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the indoor fire place, and the owner didn't hesitate to come back on Thanksgiving to fix it. Very nice people. We hope to be back. Thank you so much!

Great for family vacations!

Our three generational family loved this property! The check in part was easy and there were accommodations for all twenty of us. We found plenty of supplies for preparing our meals and eating together. The second floor was laid out well for sleeping/bathrooms and was very quiet overall. (I gave the CONDITION only 4 stars because the bedding needs upgrading. In the room we stayed in, the mattress sagged and the sheets/mattress pad kept sliding off the bed). Other than that, no complaints! The trash was picked up daily, which we had a lot, so appreciated that gesture. We would certainly return if possible.

Great family vacation venue

The property was perfect for our 3 generations of family that all stayed at the house. The house was well equipped for cooking meals with plenty of seating for our large group. The beds/bedding could be updated, but the layout of the hallway with all the bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor was perfect. There were many attractions/water activities that were just a short distance away to give us all plenty to do.

Perfect Company Getaway

This was the perfect cabin for a company getaway. The property was perfect for outdoor games and campfire. Inside was very spacious, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook/clean, location was ideal. We definitely plan to return for another company outing. Perfect Company Getaway

This property was ideal for a company getaway. The property has lots of space for outdoor games, gathering around the campfire and space for outside eating. The inside was spacious as well, kitchen had all cooking sypplies we could have ever needed. Great location to Helen and other surrounding activities. Overall we had a great experience at this cabin rental and would highly recommend for larger groups. We will be back again for sure!

Location is great and we had a ball. However there are a few housekeeping items that i must mention. The cabin was dusty, the mattress covers were disgusting. One guests thinks that shd had bed bugs bits. I will submit pictures to customer service.

Friends from all over!

I had friends come into town for my wedding and this was the perfect reunion house!! People from 8 states and 3 country enjoyed their stay! Everyone was blown away by how nice everything is!!

Best Family Vacation Yet

We take a mountain vacation with our family every year. This was hands down the best one yet! The house was perfect for the 23 of us with enough beds for everyone! The downstairs are was so large and ample space for all of us! We were so close to the town of Helen that was just the coolest town! We went there every day. We were also close to Anna Ruby Falls. It is just beautiful! We also went to the beach area and the kids had so much fun swimming and playing in the sand. We also went tubing. Everything was just a few miles away! We will definitely be back for another vacation!

Tanglewood Cabin Rentals is a 37+ year family owned and operated property Management Company. Bob and Sarah Revell moved to Helen over 37 years ago from Miami. Which this was after Bob, who served in the US Navy, retired from the Dade City Fire Department. They bought some land in the Sautee Nacoochee area and started building cabins. As the cabins were being built The Revell’s sold some and then happily made agreements to take care of the homes while the owners were not around. That is when they decided to open up Tanglewood Cabin Rentals as a property management company for family and friends. Bob and Sarah decided to retire shortly after Sarah became ill.
That is when we, Curtis and Bridget Revell, became the owners of Tanglewood. We have had the pleasure of working at Tanglewood Cabin Rentals for the past 37 years and owning the family business for over 17 years.
Tanglewood was built on a family foundation that is being worked by all family members. Not only is this company a family owned environment, which you do not find very often these days. But we consider our guest and the homeowners as family. We as Tanglewood Cabin Rentals have everybody’s best interest at heart. We thrive to get you the maximum investment for your property. We understand that every owner and their property are unique and have different interest and requirements as well as the guest who come back time after time.
