The condo is fully-equipped for a comfortable stay with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen in the guest room.
Each room offers flat screen television and ceiling fans.Property is self-catering, we do provide starter soaps, toilet paper & paper towels. We are not a hotel so these items are not replaced during stays.Just bring your swimsuit/beach towel, sunglasses and lotion and be prepared to relax and let your cares drift away. It is a spectacular place to spend time for the whole family. Two pools- one kiddy pool and jacuzzi area and a large family-friendly pool with a jacuzzi too! Lounge at the beach, search for shells and sand dollars or unwind at the Tiki Bar for a cold tropical beverage (with the umbrellas). Sunset Vistas has a quaint cafe for those slow relaxing mornings on the veranda with coffee and a muffin or rock in the hammock listening to the fountains in the lush tropical courtyard.A short walk/drive to the popular John's Pass Village boardwalk of shops, restaurants and water excursions-dolphin watch, putt-putt at Smugglers Cove, or visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium to visit Winter the dolphin from the movie Dolphin Tale.In Treasure Island, you will have access to all types of fun water activities including: fishing, parasailing, boating, and waverunners. The reason for a 3 star rating overall rating is because only 1 elevator worked, which is frustrating when you are on the 6th floor. The pool was filthy. Our room had a beautiful view but the freezer was broken. Mold accumulated on the ceiling vents. Cleaning crew should be re-trained. The location was perfect, so we did not spend a lot of time in our rooms.

Nice condo, online pictures make it appear larger than actual size. On first morning there, the toaster was broken but I called realtor and a new toaster was delivered quickly. Be aware that the furnace or a/c filter needs replaced, it's very dirty. I was looking, in the closet and noticed it.

An “okay” experience
Condo was Okay...dining area chairs “looked” soiled and bedroom carpet didn’t appear clean. We’ve stayed at Sunset Vistas three times and this was our least favorite. View was nice and everything was in working order.

Beautifully decorated
Check-in was easy. Just enter the code to the door. Didn’t realize we would have access to beach chairs and towels which was a plus, since we flew. Had a minor shower problem and it was addressed and fixed right away. Would definitely rent this condo again.

This property was exactly as described, everything was clean and it was super close to the beach. The property was excellently equipped and met all our needs. We would stay here again if we come back to Treasure Island.

Upon arrival the air conditioner and TVs did not work. They did send someone out to look at air conditioner but it could not be fixed. They offered to move us but only had a unit available for one night, so we decided to stay and be uncomfortable at night. We asked a maintenance man to help with the TV and he informed us the owner needed to call cable company as the cable in the complex was updated and the unit required new cable boxes. Did notify owner of this. Was told I would receive discount on stay, have not heard back though from owner at this time. Location and pool were great though and you’re right on the beach! Loved that!

Great relaxing stay
We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Checking in and out was fast and simple. The room was spacious and very comfortable for my family of 6. Communication with the owners was excellent. We cant wait to return next year.

Great location but ...
We have stayed at this property (Sunset Vistas) many times over the years and have always enjoyed our stay. Great views of the ocean no matter where your room is, the property is well maintained, there is a kiddie pool as well as a large pool but both are separated so that’s always nice so the little ones can enjoy their pool time away from the bigger kids, the staff is friendly, parking is covered which is great for rainy days and there is plenty to do within walking distance from the property. This is the first time we booked through a management company not direct through Sunset Vistas. The management company staff friendly and booking was easy and all of my questions were answered promptly. I gave a 3 star based on the unit alone. It was not very clean. The floors were dirty, they didn’t appear to have been mopped at all, there was dust all over everything- the ceiling fan blades, the base boards, the closet door panels that the AC unit is in had dust flying out of it, we all suffered allergy reactions due to the amount of dust in the unit, the kitchen drawers had crumbs all in them, the refrigerator had food from a previous guest left behind, the sheets didn’t appear to be changed because there was hair in the sheets and on pillow cases (I had to wash all bedding), the shower curtain liners need to be changed badly because there was so much residue on them, around all the door handles were black marks/dirt like they have not been cleaned down in months, the blind panels kept falling down (unlike the other units run by the property that have black out curtains instead of those cheap panels), the balcony was filthy with mold, the entire unit just appeared dirty and doesn’t look like there is much cleaning done, just tidying up. We had family staying in other units that are cleaned and managed by sunset Vistas and their rooms were very clean and updated, they had nicer mattresses and pillows unlike ours that were those cheap flat pillows and smaller beds. We will always stay at the property because we enjoy ourselves when we stay but we will book direct next time. It was unpleasant while in the unit and I had to clean before we could get comfortable and that’s not exactly my ideal vacation especially since we paid a cleaning fee so expected the unit to be cleaned and ready for us to enjoy. I would recommend booking direct. I did notify the management company of the uncleanliness in hopes they will address the issues with the maid they use.

IT REALLY IS A VERY NICE PLACE
JUST NEED NEW PILLOWS AND MATTRESS GETS A IS A BIT HARD THE ROOM IS ADORABLE LOVE THE TIKI HUT AND CAFE WE HAD A GREAT TIME IT IS WALKING DISTANCE TO JOHNS PASS WE WALKED TO GATORS ALSO!

Very clean and spacious. Great location!
I was hoping for a relaxing vacation and that is exactly what I had. I made my reservation the day before my trip, never booked through VRBO before, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, (I've been misled by a company years before) but I couldn't have been more pleased with this 2B/2B with a nice balcony that gave me a great ocean view. It did storm quite a bit for the first few days of the stay but had more than enough inside space for the three of us. I was surprised of the size of the kitchen, that had all dishes we could have needed, even though not many were used, was nice to have. The washer and dryer were very convenient after returning from the beach, the pool, or the hot tubs. I really can't think of anything negative about this property and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. We've already started talking about our next vacation, we live in Ohio, and... It's not the beach. I will definitely be checking out VRBO listings in a couple of months to see what's available and hopefully book with them again. I was charged exactly what I expected, was explained the charges prior to booking by a very polite representative, no surprise fees... Yay! Thank you so much, looking forward to the next time.
